I’m going to assume that these guys just had a bad day. I’ve had good interactions with Tetris, Mike and the owner of the company were amazing when I first moved here I needed my pod unloaded. When I relocated from Tacoma area to Bellevue he said they sent me their A team. Nice guys but they definitely had a leader that decided he wanted to be done early on a very hot Saturday. They left me with very heavy items that they said would not fit and ran out of energy pretty early in the move despite plenty of water and lunch. I was told I had too much stuff and why did I wait until the last day to move. Obviously I was pretty irritated. Not impressed. I would read through the contract thoroughly ask for a crew who don’t mind working on weekends. Because I had to go back and finish the move in my old residence, I left my 84-year-old mom to direct these kids in the unload. She asked for them to do a couple things and then they abruptly left without saying bye. Kind of left her hanging. I would think long and hard for about using Tetris if you care about the quality and human side of a move. Not to mention it was a couple thousand dollars.”

Might get a lawyer involved, I haven't decided. Nobody took off their shoes, nobody put anything down to avoid their shoes touching the floor, and my new walls got scratched. My furniture was NOT wrapped properly the way they show on the pictures and there were holes torn into my box spring and $3000 bed. Reviews must be fake...definitely won't be using you next time.”

Can't provide enough praise for this company. My wife and I were moving across the country to the east coast and we were having all of our stuff shipped. We had some issues getting all of the furniture out of the house as we weren't planning on shipping it, and wanted to either have it donated or just recycled/disposed. Fortunately for us, we were able to get everything out of the house but a single, frustrating couch. After working with my wife for about an hour and a half attempting to get it out of the house, I eventually called up this company to see if they might have any ability to help. Due to the fact we weren't using them to move I knew I was asking for something slightly out of the ordinary but didn't know what to expect. After speaking with an employee (I believe named Mike but unfortunately can't remember Sorry!!) and explaining my predicament, he went out of his way to provide me with assistance. Not only did he say that he would be able to assist with it, but he drove to my house within the hour and helped me in getting the couch out. Due to the fact I'm 3000 miles away I won't ever have a need for their services but I would never hesitant a second to recommend their services to anyone based on the service I was provided. Especially since I was requesting something so specific and something that they wouldn't typically offer.”

I had somewhat of a complicated move in that they had to pick stuff up from two different apartments in Seattle and then move all the way to Yakima to an apartment for my roommate and I. Frankly, my expectations just weren't that great. With the other great reviews and the A+ rating by BBB, I was just hoping for someone who got the job done without ripping me off. I'd contacted other companies for estimates, and note-to-self: Tetris seems to be a more responsive communicator than the others, so that's a good sign. As confirmation, I received some literature from Tetris about the company they want to be, how they want their customers to view them, blah-blah-blah with all that corporate vision-speak. I figured "yeah, we'll see what ACTUALLY happens... Turns out they NAILED it!! They ARE friendly, they ARE on time, they showed me over and over again how important it was to THEM that I was satisfied with what they were doing and how they were doing it. If they sent their vision statement to me, I'd SIGN it with a WELL DONE! Not only did they exceed my expectations, they set the bar WAY high. My wife called me during the move and asked me to quickly go find a piece of furniture she wanted especially to protect but had forgotten to do so, and have me special wrap it. I found it all right, but too late to do anything - because the moving crew had already wrapped it in a blanket AND shrink wrapped it, and I caught them in the act of carefully moving it to the truck. I called my wife back and assured her that ALL of our stuff was being carefully handled and no special admonition was required. These guys are pros and do NOT need me to tell them how to do it better - chances are, they already DID. Honestly, I'm grateful I didn't have to 'manage' anything, I didn't have to be on them to take the extra step, to be extra careful, or to get their rear in gear for the hourly rate. They ALREADY were - all on their own, cheerfully, professionally, and thoroughly. I could not be more pleased. Even after the move was complete, the team walked me through the new place and asked if everything was just where I wanted it. I kind of hated to mention it because it was so trivial, but I'm going to have to nudge the sofa along the wall a little more to fit a lamp in.... I didn't have all the words out of my mouth when a couple guys jumped in, moved it and said "How's this?". Seems I was asked that several times during the day. I was impressed the whole team seemed genuinely interested in pleasing me and making what would normally be a rough day a GREAT day. Guys - you DID IT! Thank you so much. I mentioned this move was temporary until our new place was nailed down? I'll call you when I'm ready. Outstanding work! Highly recommend this team.”

I really thought I was dealing with a reputable organization. I should have known right away when I chose this organization and it took the owner, Michael, about three days to finally respond to my emails and phone calls letting him know I wanted to hire them! He sounded really eager to help and get me moved safely, and I believed him. He never reached out to me again once the contract was signed, I reached out to him a few days before my move to verify I was still on his calendar. I also explained to him that I had a storage unit full of boxes (no furniture, just boxes), but the storage didn't open until 11:00am. My common sense told me they'd want to get the boxes in the truck before the furniture, but he assured me the movers would still meet me at my house between 8-9 anyway. The movers showed up at 8:15, the guys were great! They filled the truck with the few boxes I had in the house and all the furniture, then they told me what time they would be to the final destination and they headed to the storage unit and I headed to my new home. That time came and went by two hours! They told me they had to reorganize the truck even after I explicitly gave them the dimensions of the storage unit. With two people it should only have taken 30 minutes to load! Instead I got charged for a two hour reorganization of the truck because nobody wanted to listen to me. One of the guys broke the stand on my tv, so now I have a tv that's not functional. I contacted Michael immediately the next morning about all of this, but guess what, it's been a week and he STILL HAS NOT RESPONDED! If you have disposable income, then hire this company. If you have no problem with the lack of communication, then go for it! If you don't mind the movers breaking things, offering to pay for it but leave before they do, then this company is right up your alley! I would honestly search out other companies before choosing this one!”

Lazy and deliberately slow - don't hire them! Used Tetris to unload moving truck when I moved from Portland, OR to Auburn, WA. Arrived over 1 hour later than scheduled. Had 4 people on the crew, who all went to the truck at the same time, chatted for 4-5 minutes, then each grabbed one item and came back into apartment single file. Worst of all they kept asking where to put things for EVERY SINGLE ITEM even though the boxes were clearly marked. After driving up from Portland and being exhausted from packing and travel, having to answer 1,000 stupid questions did not leave a good impression. Took MUCH longer than it should have to unload contents for 2 bedroom apartment due to what seemed to be deliberate goldbricking (goldbricking is the practice of doing less work than one is able to, while maintaining the appearance of working.)”
