I wish my moving process was as successful as other reviewers but unfortunately I experienced nothing but unprofessionalism and rude customer service. My move was over 3 hours delayed due to their trucks not starting and someone finally having the bright idea to rent from another company in order to perform the move. None of this would have been a issue if communication was actually given. I was given one phone call that the move would be starting about 30 mins late from the scheduled start time. 1hr and 30mins later still no movers. When i called back for an update I was told “were working on it”. A hour later i called back again for another update and that’s when I was given information about them renting a truck from another company. While moving my items the movers broke the leg of a dresser. The movers didn’t really have anything to say, they just collected payment, signed paper work and said a receipt would be sent, which i still haven’t received. After settling in and unpacking I notice the broken leg was not the only damage the movers caused a vase was also broken and several scratches were on several items. I then brought all of these issues to whom I assume to be the owners. They asked for me to send pictures of the damages and someone would be in contact with me shortly. After doing so there was radio silence for several days. When i called for an update there was no hesitation in response. My email had been reviewed but again no one bothered to follow up with me, the consumer. When I asked when were they planning to follow up with me, RJ responded “How do you know we weren’t going to call today?”. At this point I’m very frustrated as I have expressed repeatedly how unsatisfied I was with the entire process and the only thing RJ had to say was more smart dismissive remarks and how he was upset that I was upset and now he had to pay for damages that he doesn’t believe his movers caused. It was implied by RJ and another gentleman several times that it was impossible for these scratches and damages to occur due to the items being wrapped and them using padding in their trucks. I reminded them that no padding was used because their trucks weren’t used and I had physical pictures showing the damage. If communication was respectful and actual care was shown to the customers concerns the experience could have been a lot better. I never received an apology or any kind of reasoning as to why I kept having to follow up about the poor service instead of them working on the issue and following up with me. What I did receive is accusations that “I want money”, arguments with a grow man because he refused to show any remorse for my items being damaged , and horrible customer service. We’ll see if I ever receive the $100.00 check that was offered for the damages. You should show respect to ALL of your customers no matter their gender, race or if their upset. I’m sure you wouldn’t be happy either dealing with a business who shows zero concern for the way they mishandled your belongings.”
