Super Friends Moving Reviews

★☆☆☆☆
I booked for moving, and went through all their process, including an interview, and online form. I tried unsuccessfully to pay the deposit, called to see why, and their response was that they booked for that day because I wasn't fast enough in paying such deposit. They compare themselves with an airline "first come first served" regardless all the time spent in booking and interviewing. Very unprofessional , unethical and frustrating.

Smooth move. Only thing the movers left outside and forgot to bring in was my filing box with all social security, tax information, bank information. Luckily a stranger found it and brought it to my home. No call back from the office when I left a message about it too

Not quite sure how they have such a high rating. I was initially impressed that I was able to schedule a next day walk through for a quote. The guy said he would submit it to owner fro approval and I should hear back 24-48 hours. This was on a Tuesday at 10am. On Thursday midday I followed up and he said he couldn't get ahold of the owner. Again on Friday. This was almost 2 weeks ago, never got a quote.

I want to share my experience with other families who is looking for a mover so they don't have to go through the stress we went through with this company. I would not recommend this moving company for long distance move and have reserve about their mover/packing team for local move as well. It started all nicely with Evan coming out to my house to give an estimate. We confirmed our move with partial packing service and car transportation online smoothly a month prior to the move date. Several days before the actual move 5/22, the team contact us and ask if we are using them to transport our vehicles when I thought everything was reserved a month ago. Jakub then called around and was able to secure car transportation 2 days after the actual move day. Fortunately I was still in town to wait for the cars to be picked up after my husband moved out of state first. The auto transport company they contracted out was not responsive and difficult to get a hold off. There were much delay and I was waiting the whole day until our cars were picked up at 8:30 PM (I have a flight out of Seattle with my kids the next day and wouldn't know what to do if the auto transport company did not show up to pick up the cars). I paid for the movers to pack my kitchen and office but thought it was a waste of $. I think I can packed better and more secure than those young guys in their 20s. They just put my espresso machine and instant pot without any wrapping directly into a big box and use multiple packing paper to roll up a bottle of peppers. I don't really get the rational behind this. They don't wrap and protect the big things that are easily breakable and expense, but wrap small item like a bottle of garlic salt in plastic bottle with 2 large wrapping papers. Now onto the delivery of my furniture on the other end. The driver/head mover who delivered my shipment was Dan. He seems professional and knows what he is doing. He looks at all the room and asked where we want everything to be place. I thought, " Great! My thing is arriving!" But he was solo and where is his crew? It appears that he contract a local group to help with the move. 3 guys (16yo, 18 yo and one in his 20s who is starting as a mover for the very first time) arrived to help with the move. One of the kids are always on the phone and they were quite careless with my boxes and furniture. They made MULTIPLE HUGH scratches on my wooden floor in my new home. They are not prepare and didn't even eat breakfast and asking me for protein bars and water. 2 guys stayed behind and were supposed to assemble the beds but could not locate the tools and screws. So they just sat around and did nothing while Dan and one other guy went to get the remaining of my shipment. Dan came back and said the rest of my shipment has not arrive and the parts/screws maybe still in transit. He said he only have those guys for 5 hours and they are leaving. I was left with no bed assemble to sleep in. I dont mind sleeping on the floor but I have small kids and elderly in the house. Dan returned the next day and the rest of the shipment and assembled all the bed by himself solo. We found damaged such as decor and lamp that was packed by the movers. They just dump all the misc items including my dyson v8 cordless in a big box without any protection. One of my dyson ball vacuum was missing and never delivered (maybe someone stole it in transit) and 2 of my cushions of my L sectional are missing as well. How are you suppose to use a sectional with 2 cushions missing? My nightstand has multiple dens and scratches. Dan took pictures of the damages and we sent him pictures of damaged items and wooden floor damages. He said he will forward to his boss and they are waiting for a quote for the repair. We email the Super friends moving company about all these issues and have not received any response for 1 week. It has been almost 3 weeks since we moved in with all these damages and missing items. Super friend moving company has not given me a response or reply. I messaged Jakub today and let's see if he will response. I hope this review will be helpful to others so they dont have to go through the same distress we went through.

TL;DR - Movers cracked the television (insufficiently wrapped in couple blankets) and caused significant damage to dining table (after we told them multiple times to pay attention to the corners) - collectively over $1000 of damage. This was the shortest move of my life (and I've move cross-continent and cross-ocean several times). The movers said the company will make it right, and they haven't done anything. It's been five weeks. No integrity or accountability. ** The customer service leading up to the move was fantastic. Gabe was very communicative, responding within a day (most times, hours). The movers on the day of were great - very nice. However, that is where the good part of the review ends. Firstly, one of the movers dropped coffee on our carpet (from the place we were moving) without telling anyone. We found it later and had to spend some time cleaning the carpet or else we would've been charged extra by the property management company. More importantly, it is quite evident the movers received improper training on handling and transporting materials. One of the two most expensive items we own were damaged - one irreparably. This was a television. It was only wrapped in a few blankets and obviously not secured on transport (all of 15 minutes to our new place). The television arrived cracked in multiple spots! The other item was a custom-made dining table. We explicitly told the movers to be careful and that the corners were fragile. In fact, we implored them to use as much material as possible to wrap the corners. We told them to not lay it on its side during the transport. They went against our advice and the corner is ruined. The movers assured me SEVERAL times that the company would replace the television and send a furniture "doctor" to try and repair the corner. They were very apologetic and ultimately they worked hard. Despite the damages, we still offered a tip for the rest of the work. Now, on to the matter of resolving the damages...the move happened on June 3 and no one has followed up with me. I contacted the move coordinator (Gabe) multiple times only receiving one response shortly after the incident that Jakub (the owner) was on vacation and that he alone "handles" the claims. I've called the company multiples times. The response is always the same - I'm so sorry this happened, I'm expediting your message, someone will return my call. I've asked to be put on hold while track someone down, "sorry we can't do that." No one has contacted me. I have also emailed at least twice a week with no further communications from the company. There's just no accountability, which is shocking considering the moving company has been around for 14 years. It seems like the movers were only saying what they needed to say to make sure they were paid. I'm disappointed. I'd like to remain hopeful that the company will do the right thing, but seeing as how I've already paid...it doesn't seem like there'll be enough reputational risk at stake to fix this. I'm more than happy to update this review should the company demonstrate some actual integrity.

I wish that I could give a better review to a company whos owner I have been acquainted with for years. Unfortunately when it came to moving my wife and I from Seattle to WI it was an absolute catastrophe. It all went wrong when I was not informed that they would be unloading the truck that was loaded at my home to be reloaded into another truck at their warehouse. Well when we opened the door for the moving truck to be unloaded in WI it looked as though our belongings had been thrown in the truck haphazardly with no concern of any kind. Broken antiques, dented dryer, scratched and dented custom bike that I specifically pointed out as my most valuable belonging, list is to long for my review. My favorite is when I found multi boxes of our belongings to be missing. I have contacted the company and the owner directly and was refunded half of my deposit and was told I would receive the rest soon only to be ignored and lied to. I did not even ask for replacement or repair of the many broken and/or damaged items, I just asked for a refund on the moving expense, trying to be easy to work with and keep a friend. If this is how the owners friends are treated I can only imagine how a strangers belongings would be mistreated. I would not recommend Super friends to my worst enemy. Worst moving company ever, run away and find a national company that embraces professionalism, it will cost you less in the long run. Zero stars would have been a gracious review

These guys were great. They were scheduled to arrive between 8 - 9 AM on a Monday and called at 7:50 to let me know they were on the way. I'm used to having movers call to say they're running late, so this was a nice surprise! This was a last minute schedule, and Gabe made it happen with the requested 3 person crew (originally was only going to be 2). The place I was moving to unexpectedly still had furniture in it. The property manager asked if the movers could haul the stuff out before moving my stuff in. Jerrico, Deshar, and Jalen rolled with it with ease and still finished the entire move in about 5 hours, which was quoted to be about 5-7 hours, so they were fast. They were also super friendly and easygoing. This was my 5th move since 2015 and Super Friends and Can't Stop Moving have always been the best and most efficient. Thank you guys so much!

Super Friends did a great job in my local move. They arrived on time with great attitudes. Preston, Erik, and Kaytron did a great job communicating with me about what needed to be done each step of the way and took great care in packing, loading, and unloading my belongings. They worked well with the staff at both my new and old apartments. They had all the necessary materials and tools. And they completed the job within the quoted budget. Will think of Super Friends first if I have any future moving needs.

I have used a couple different moving companies in the region, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the service provided by Super Friends! The online estimate was very simple, the quote was cheaper than every other quote by a large margin, and availability was not a problem either, although I moved mid-month in what I understand may be a slow season. The best part of the overall experience were my lovely movers, Eric and Sam, who were punctual, polite, super friendly (hah), and who were FAST. I was very impressed by the speed of the move, and the wonderful positive attitude that both Eric and Sam had that made the whole day fly by smoothly. The price came in almost exactly at the quote - which was also great. I will definitely call again the next time I need to move!

I used Super Friends to move from Seattle to Portland in September...I still don't have resolution to the damage done during my move 8 months later. I've made countless calls and sent multiple emails and yet I still wait for resolution. Trying to get support or response post move is a fruitless exercise. They promise to call back and don't. It feels like they are hoping that I will get tired of continually calling them so they can skip out on resolving the damage their company did during my move. I'm planning to report them to the Better Business Bureau due to these shady practices

As movers, they were excellent. They showed up on time and got everything A to B in perfect condition. However, they accidentally kept the new key to the new place, which is an electronic key and will cost us $150 to replace. I tried calling for five days, and left several messages. I even texted the original move team but nobody replied or got back to me. I tried to schedule a call their their website, but nobody called. It's weird that once they had all the money they'd make from me, they just stopped caring. It's not that I think they'll break your stuff, but if they do you'd have a really hard time complaining!

I just moved to San Francisco from Seattle and this was a really good experience with Super Friends Moving. I really highly recommend this company and I'll call them again if I have to move again. Super Friends is amazing! Moving from WA to NV is a huge task and these guys handled our move in an expeditious manner, and were always on time, gave an accurate quote, and were very friendly. Dan and his crew came and packed up our place in no time, and our stuff arrived at our new home exactly when they anticipated it would. If you need movers for long distance, these guys are the best! Thank you! You all really are "super friends" - thanks!

BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS! We hired them to move some of our items into our garage for staging in late April and were impressed with the crew so hired them for our move. We could not have been more disappointed. They were hired to both pack the remaining items and move them. We had requested the same crew led by Evan. Evan was nice and appeared to do a nice job. Luke however, was horrific! He did a terrible job of following our requests and packing. He just threw things into boxes. We ended up with several damaged pieces including an original piece of artwork. When the box was damaged it put a hole in the painting. See photos. We contacted Jakub who indicated he would rebate some of our money. I have followed up three times to inquire --first he claimed to not have the correct address, then he was on vacation now no reply. I waited and gave them ample opportunity to address the problems before posting any reviews. Unfortunately after two months it's clear they have no intention of taking responsibility for their actions and the damage caused. I would never hire this company again. They do not care about your items and do not follow through.

I don't typically leave reviews, but there are those special circumstances where a service goes way beyond expectation or falls very short. In this case, my expectations were exceeded and by quite a bit. This group of movers led by Arnus, were not only good movers, but great people. They took great care of our belongings and were very likable. They were very patient as you must be while moving a family with small children. My 8 year daughter was able to ask questions about how her room was packed / moved and when it came time to deliver, she was treated with respect and care. I would be willing to give additional stars if possible. I recommend using these guys whenever possible.

I'm a return customer, this was my second time using their services. The first time I used Super Friends to move was back in November with Jakub - they were fast, dependable, careful, hard-working and made sure nothing was missed. I would have recommended them to anyone. This time was different. Essentially they showed up three hours late and refused to take anything that was not a piece of furniture or in a cardboard box. I packed soft things like clothing and bedding in heavy duty garbage bags, had things like large house plants camping equipment that was all in bags, inflatable mattress, pantry food items in handled reusable shopping bags, some boxes without tops, a box that had any amount of liquor in it, all of which these movers refused to touch. Being on a weekend there was a four hour minimum on the move, however the full move only took two and a half hours because they only transported 40% of our stuff and now we're stuck figuring out how to move the rest ourselves. Their services cost $577 to move half of our belongings (last time it was $541, and they were thorough and covered everything)

So it's been almost 5 years since my move. I had an undiagnosed disease then that am finally recovering from....Funny, for all the stress was under then, and sudden sickness after this move, I wasn't able to track, unload all my boxes, make an inventory of when was in the huge move until recently. Jacob, How long did you think it would be for me to figure out how much was missing?Sure, you knew it would be way too long to file a police report. How many other clients missing things that they didn't realize, even for months, years? Do you do this intermittently? Wow look at all those really good reviews - how do you live with yourself? Wow, that extra long time it took to come up north Aurora -- now I know why. If anyone wants to contact me, I will give details. Many boxes of antiques, collectables, and Renn Faire clothing, garb were taken, poof, missing - just where did they go, Jacob? where are they now? Heads up: *Photograph your items *Look into every numbered box as it is unloaded *Have someone follow their truck *Have a few friends around watching them load and unload. *Have the cops on speed dial if you gut feels queasy and that something is off, wrong.

Man. These guys are amazing. I mistakenly filled out the online quote saying that I had a smaller grand, when in fact I have quite a large grand piano. They only sent 2 guys, I felt terrible for the two gentlemen who moved my 800 lb piano by themselves in the rain. The quality and care with which they moved my piano was incredible, they were friendly and very professional. Was quoted a flat fee of $450 and they stuck by it. I threw an extra tip for them because they did such an awesome job. Would definitely use them again.

These guys helped me pack and move everything, for less than I was expecting. We were organized and the final invoice came in much lower than they bid. Super Friends Moving took our household from Seattle to the Eastside last week. Our daughter, who used them a few years ago, recommended them to us. They are a wonderful company. We were able to initiate and maintain communication from the moment we placed a call asking for an estimate until the end of the move. We received updates and reminders online via text and e-mail, and were responded to promptly when we called. When the move was delayed by one hour through no fault of the company, the office manager, Gabe, stayed in touch with us, and the driver called twice to reassure us. Having had a two WEEK delay on a previous move, we thought Gabe and Luke (the driver) were unexpectedly and genuinely concerned about our one-hour extra wait. We had three movers: Luke, Dylan and Logan. We couldn't have asked for nicer, more considerate, pleasant helpers. They checked in with us constantly, followed all our requests, and did a walk though at the end to be sure we were satisfied with the placement of every item. They helped us consider and tweak a few settings. Finally, they brought us in under estimate. Moving is an ordeal, but Super Friends Moving made it far less of one

Completely unprofessional - DO NOT USE The good news: the guys who did the move at both ends were fabulous. Kind, friendly, hard working, and going beyond the call of duty to make things as easy as possible for us. The bad news: the guy who runs this operation is totally unprofessional and the company is organizationally chaotic. We moved from Seattle to California, and throughout the process the information flow was pathetic. We had carefully planned our delivery day and both taken time off work. The delivery arrived almost two whole days late, and was surrounded by disorganization and chaos. Instead of the move in starting 9am Monday it was postponed to lunchtime, then the afternoon, then the next morning, then eventually it started for real at 4pm the following day. To make matters worse, two items of furniture are missing. To make matters even worse, one month later those items have not showed up, and there has been no response to repeated emails asking for information. And as the final straw: no apology, no offer of recompense for the inconvenience. Nothing. No communication. And we still don't have our furniture. We have moved many times in the last 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. I simply don't think the people running this company have a clue about how to run a business, nor even the most rudimentary basics of customer service. Again: the guys doing the real work were fantastic. I feel bad for them to be working for a company like this.

I had overall good experience for long distance move with SFM. Good part: On time. For pickup they gave one hour window at the time of booking and they came right in that time window. Delivery too was done on same day as promised. No hidden charges. Whatever was mentioned at the time of booking, exactly same amount was charged. No hassle later. They asked for pretty high deposit though, not a big factor if movers are honest which was the case here. All the items were in good shape on arrival, except one leg of a dresser was broken. Chris, the team lead, did his best to glue it and make it functional. Many thanks to him! I think that was a good enough remedy. The leg broke off at the time of pickup itself when it accidentally slipped from hand while they were hauling it to the truck. Not so good part: No one picks up phone. At least they could say to hang up instead of let people keep waiting for next available representative. Who never becomes available at least for me. 🙂 Jakub replies to the messages from account but he only replies in the morning. if you send him message after 10 or so, wait for next day. At least that's what I observed for my messages. One broken item as mentioned before. I think that was just an accident in my case though. Overall good experience. Pretty reasonable price for 3 day delivery From Seattle to Bay Area (in comparison to other quotes I got)

Excellent. Used them twice and both times they were very professional and helpful. They were fairly late the second time due to a previous job. Don't be fooled by the reviews this company has. I specifically used them to move my heavy bed. I asked them if they had experience moving that bed. They told me they did. When CJ and his team got to my place, I could tell he was a no nonsense type of guy. Wasn't friendly, just wanted to know what he needed to move, which is fine. But then he started rushing me, telling me what he was willing and unwilling to move, that "we need to go so what else is?" I don't know why he was rushing, we anticipated a 4-6 hr move per the company quote I got. They got done in two hours. CJ ruined my bed. He had it wrapped in a plastic bag, it ripped, and I stead of calling the third guy to come help, he just kept moving it, dragging it across the sidewalk and up the stairs, eventually rolling it into my room, now the bed is ruined. I told him we needed to file a claim on it, he said "you're bed did it to itself." I am not kidding. He really said that. I was in awe that i trusted this company based off the yelp reputation, and this is how crappy i was treated.. my boyfriend called the manager, this was 4 days ago and no call back. Supposedly CJ had let his manager know of the bed. We will see what comes of this. Beware.

We used their services based on a referral from a coworker. Craig, the estimator was reassuring, professional, and took photos of which furnitures were important to us. He assured us that they will pack our furnitures on moving day. Three men showed up on moving day. They did not bring the wardrobe boxes as requested and were written in the estimate summary. They smelled of weed. And proceed to carry ONE box at a time by hands at SNAIL PACE. Let's just say I have never seen any movers move this slow. They did not pack any thing in moving blankets until I requested it and they did so reluctantly. And the packing inside the truck were disorganized, dressers and furnitures were thrown on top each other willy nelly without any padding. Then, they REFUSED to take all the smaller items. When they get to the new place: they complained about the number of stairs. They drop one glassware box marked with red tape for fragile and drop a night dresser. They disappeared inside the house for some times and opened doors to rooms that I have specifically closed. Constantly using our bathrooms throughout the move. And the worse part is: all my oak furnitures have scratches, one console table is chip, many broken stem wares from the box they dropped, one night dresser is ruined. I have moved the exact same furnitures and items a year ago across country and not a single chip or scratch. DO NOT use these movers. They were NOT friendly nor super. More of a nightmare. Worse yet, we have to go and get our own wardrobe boxes in the midst of the move.

Super Friends did an excellent job with our transition from Seattle to Las Vegas. Evan, Eric and Dylan came to our home - they were very professional, polite and pleasant. They went above and beyond and carefully handled all our furniture and boxes. Our furniture and boxes arrived safely in Las Vegas, Chris led the local Las Vegas movers (OJ and Fred). They were very skillful, kind and patient. Chris went above and beyond - stayed behind to fulfill our requests. Super Friends displayed great teamwork, collaboration and commitment. They delivered what they promised. We are very pleased. Keep up the great work!

I recently had a complicated move going from Kent, Washington to Point Roberts. Point Roberts is very unusual place - an exclave of the United States - only accessible by land by driving through Canada. That means you have to cross an international border (twice!) to get there. I was super-anxious about this move because of the complexities navigating customs, and because I had some antique furniture, including a piano, and I didn't want to have to load and drive a giant box truck myself or ask a friend to help. When I called around to get quotes, many of the small moving companies in the area wouldn't even touch it. They referred me to the larger companies, who came out to give me estimates that were very high, and even they seemed baffled about what to do. I saw the reviews here on Yelp and gave Super Friends Moving a call, and the manager, Jakub, spoke with me. Turns out he knew about this odd location and had moved others there before. And - when a scary, last-minute mess came up with closing, Jakub was friendly and flexible in rescheduling the move for later, allowing me to apply my nonrefundable deposit to a future date. When the moving day did get scheduled, Jakub sent out a crew with international moving experience - Chris and Evan - both of whom reassured me that they had everything under control. Evan said he had done numerous international moves in the past and was well-acquainted with customs rules. He even found a couple of canisters of flammable cleaning fluid that I had boxed and had no idea where to find - saving a huge amount of trouble. Both of them were very friendly, got along well with each other (that makes a huge difference!) and careful with my things. I've had to move a lot, and while this move was high-stress, everyone at Super Friends Moving truly did take a load off my shoulders because of how well they had prepared. These have been the best movers I've worked with - and they did it at a fraction of the cost of those big moving companies. I highly recommend them for moves far away and near.

This was, hands down, the best moving experience I have ever had! Being in the military, I have moved 6 times in the past 6 years. Evan and Kenny were unique in that they were extremely courteous the entire pack-out. They took extreme care with every piece of furniture, even things that had been severely damaged in previous moves and didn't require special care, they still treated it as if it were a prized-possession. They were very methodical, ensuring every single item was properly accounted for and packed up. And they moved efficiently throughout the day to get me packed-out as quickly as possible. They made no complaints, even though the amount of stuff ended up being more than expected, and made me feel extremely at ease the entire time. I give my highest recommendation for this team!

Another awesome job moving us, this time all the way to Maui! Everyone at Superfriends is amazing and their professionalism and enthusiasm is hard to beat. Big shout out to Jakub for all his help coordinating this long distance move, and to Evan and Kenny who not only did a superb job helping us move out of our house in Washington but flew to Maui and helped us move in to our new home. We were willing to pay to fly them out to help us, so if that doesn't speak volumes I don't know what does.

We used these guys to move a single piece slate pool table 30 mile and up a flight of "L" shaped stairs. This required disassembling and reassembling a 50 year old vintage table with fresh felt on a 450 lb. slate which came out unscathed. The body of the table is a massive single piece box. All made it upstairs without any damage to anything short of a piece of bull-nose dis-bonded on the center landing of the stairs which was attached with a couple daubs of caulking. (this was a matter of time without the move. It was promptly repaired) These guys did a wonderful, well coordinated feat which multiple services we talked to declined to attempt, including those who sell pool tables. The leader of the band, James, did a wonderful job of planning and coordinating the effort with his attentive crew. Much thought effort was put into safety and protecting surfaces wherever possible. This was our first ever contact with this company and became quite skeptical by the time we contacted them due to the number of previous refusals from the so-called experts. They worked out well for us and we wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future.

I Made a mistake, I placed a bad review and it was involving a different company... They handled it well, and I'm very sorry.

Worst movers I've ever had. Non-communicative, slow, and zero attention to detail. On top of that, careless and unwilling to take responsibility for damaged items. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shady operation--I wish I had.
