I was thoroughly pleased with Strong Movers’ service! The two employees/team leads that serviced me were, José and Alex. They were timely, efficient, and personable. My move was successful, and I was thoroughly satisfied. After calling 4 other businesses, I was unsuccessful with scheduling, leaving me with one week until my move. Strong Movers’ was accommodating without hesitation. The two young men arrived promptly within the one-hour expectancy window. Prior to their arrival I received a call with their updated ETA. Alex was detailed in explaining the process and paperwork in a timely manner. With this being my first move, they made me feel secure in trusting them. Throughout the process the men kept me in the loop and sought permission. My belongings were transported to storage. Alex and José were attentive to the size of the unit and were strategic in where items were placed. They created a functional space where I can access all items with minimal rearrangement, if necessary. They secured and reinforced some of my previously wrapped items as well, which was awesome! Alex and José were a great team and it was evident why they are supervisors/team leads. They were relatable and enjoyable to talk to. Generally, I do not write reviews, however they left me highly impressed and well pleased by their work. I will for sure contact them the next time I move and recommend them to others.”

We called a couple weeks ahead of time to schedule this move, which was between three locations, the order of which we specified several times. No one ever reached out to us to confirm the move, despite us calling every few days. It wasn't until the night before the move (around 9 pm) that the company confirmed that the movers would arrive between 9 and 10 am. Only upon calling in the morning were we informed that the movers would not be arriving until 2-3. The movers arrived at the location that was supposed to be the second stop at 3:00. When finished, the movers were supposed to meet us at the next location (which we had specified several times was supposed to be the first). The movers arrived an hour later than we did at the location, and claimed that they had gotten lost due to a typo made on their paperwork that I had reviewed before departing. The movers claimed that I missed a letter; however, when I double-checked the address I had checked before, this was not true and the address was written correctly. The movers arrived at our final destination at 7:30 at night. The move was completed at 11 pm, at which point we were informed that their credit card machine had been broken all day, and that we would have to pay in cash. As there were two of us moving, it is incomprehensible why they could not have told us this earlier which would give us more time to get the correct amount from the bank, rather than driving to multiple ATMs late at night while the movers waited in their truck at the end of the move. We were given a 5% discount for the first delay and not charged for the time the movers were lost. I'm giving Strong Movers two stars, as the movers were very friendly, respectful, and efficient, especially given the fact that they were working so late, and we had a lot of heavy furniture that had to go up 3 flights of stairs. However, I would never hire them again and would not recommend them, as every step of the move was more and more unnecessarily stressful.”

When moving, you are trusting that you and ALL of your belongings, including personal, are being treated with respect- this has not been the case with this company nor has anyone in management been of any help in resolving my issue. You would think that issues within a smaller company such as this should be resolved in a timely manner rather than be ignored and swept under the rug. I called them because I needed to move a refrigerator from one house to another in the same city of Worcester and they were very unprofessional. When i first called they said it would be from 250 to 300, which i was ok with. When I called the following week to confirm the appointment, they changed their price to 450-to 500. I found it a little high but didn't mind because we needed the move. On the day of the appointment they never called or showed up for the move. Seems like they blocked my number so they didn't have to do the move. I tried calling them about 30 times and it kept going to voice-mail. Seems like they never really wanted to do the job and kept high balling me so i would cancel. If u dont wanna do the move, just say so and i would have found someone else. Very unprofessional. I will never call them again and you shouldn't either.”

Strong Guys had to do three runs in order to complete the task, took them 13 hours, 750$ cash per hr 3. Three pieces of Italian furniture damaged, one of the guys tried to fix it made even more damage 4. Newly installed hardwood floor scratched/dented in several locations 5. One of the team members asked me twice to buy raffle tickets Just think very good before calling Strong Guys.”
