We booked Stella as their rates were reasonable and they had a 3h minimum rather than 4h which every other company we contacted had. I initially called for a quote, then received the quote via a text message link. Booking and confirming was super easy and we paid a $75 deposit to secure the booking. On the day, I received a text message when the guys were 15 mins away and then again when they arrived. Our arrival window was between 8 and 9am and they arrived at 8.30. We had 3 guys (with Eduardo leading the charge) and they moved everything super carefully. It was all blanketed and wrapped before being moved and then unwrapped after being positioned in our new place. The beds had to be dismantled and were then reassembled on the other end and my desk also had to be disassembled as it was too big to fit through the door of the new place. We didn’t have anything that was damaged, the guys were super friendly and helpful and were done in less than 6h. I also liked that you had free use of their wardrobe boxes as long as they were unpacked straight away on the other end. 10/10 recommend and would use again (although not planning to move again any time soon!!)”

Stella Moving accepted my last minute moving request for moving a three-bedroom home on a weekend. They charged me their standard rates, which were reasonable and competitive with other quotes that I received. Four guys showed up on a Sunday afternoon still full of cheer and energy, even though this was their second job for the day. When it turned out that one truck was not enough to move my belongings efficiently, Matt, the owner sent another truck with two additional movers. The guys were all experienced movers and worked seamlessly as a crew. It was obvious that this company is a professional moving company with their own crew, rather than some other companies who employ drivers and day laborers... All my furniture was professionally shrink wrapped. The trucks were loaded very carefully separating the heavy boxes and putting the fragile boxes on top. My couches and my piano were carefully wrapped in moving blankets. The entire experience was very pleasant, efficient, and met the highest standards. We used Stella moving twice. Once when we moved our lives into a storage unit, and then a month later when we moved from our storage unit into our new house. Mathew, Ednaldo, Diego, and Philippe were great! They helped us pack our stuff and saved us TONS of time. We also have a piano that is very special to us that we were really nervous about moving. Luckily, we could tell right away that Matthew and his crew took great care of the items they moved. They carefully wrapped and padded the piano and cautiously loaded it into the truck. Most importantly, they were honest and hard working. When they moved our stuff the second time, they braved through a rain storm and helped to quickly transfer all of our things from our storage units to our new home. I believe it is important to rate business on both effectiveness and customer service. The guys at Stella Moving were also extremely patient, kind, and warm to my family throughout the process. My daughters were extremely interested in their moving truck and at the end of a long day, they let them sit inside and take a look. Friendly, but disappointed that even after asking to wear gloves they did not and not all items were wrapped. Also, the wardrobe boxes were falling apart and I will have to dry clean most of my good clothes that were not protected during this move. Lacking organizational skills, when I arrived at my house the heavy boxes were stacked on top of light ones (despite specific requests otherwise), and everything in disarray. Spent several hours organizing and still working on it to find some missing items. Will update the post if not found... but likely just in obscure space and I will find it in a month or so!”
