My Only complaint is that we left our house at the same time as the movers and it only took us an hour but it took them three hours. They said it had to do with the truck not being able to go through the tunnel and they had to change their route. This resulted in extra money added to our estimate plus we had to pay $50 each hour past 2:00 to our Superintendent of our apartment building, which turned out to be another $200.”

Our move was on Thursday & Friday 6/4 & 6/5. This review is long overdue. I highly and sincerely recommend State-Wide Moving & Storage Co., Inc. One would think hiring a moving company would be worrisome and a source of stress. Not with State-Wide. We had used them 2 & ½ years ago and they were excellent. We were extremely happy with that move so hiring them again was an easy choice. That was a local move. This time it was from NJ to NH. They were professional, courteous, efficient and cared about all our furnishings. We also had three extremely heavy items (a piano, Cybex Arc Trainer and a large Oak roll top desk.) They had no problem getting those items out of the NJ house and into the NH home. They was no damage to our NJ home, NH home or furnishings. Our NH home presented a challenge as it has a walkout basement with a steep slope. Jason figured out how to position the truck and no problem unloading at all. Each of the crew Jason, Keith, Xavier, Raul and Edgar were professional and courteous. They all worked extremely hard. Jason did a great job of managing the load and unload. He also went out of his way to make sure everything went and was perfect. He is a very good team leader. Loren was excellent from the beginning (the estimate) to the end. His communication is to be commended. He kept us informed on all aspects of the move. I got quoted over $1300 from another company and decided to shop around other moving companies. I am SO GLAD I found Statewide Moving Co. I requested a quote late at night and got the quote the next morning from Loren, and it was half of what I was quoted from the other company. I called Loren and within a 2 minute phone call, everything was set up and ready to go. The movers, Shawn (Sean?), Eric, and Andre arrived within the time I was told they would arrive. These guys were SUPER professional, they even asked if we would prefer them to wear masks inside and they did, despite how difficult it made their job. We were planning on taking some things to the destination in our cars, but Shawn (Sean?) insisted that it wouldn't be any trouble at all for them to wrap up and load onto the truck. The move from Plainsboro to Wall/Tinton Falls was painless on our end, the final cost was in the low end of the estimate, and these guys worked VERY VERY hard to make sure that everything was wrapped in blankets and that nothing was damaged. There wasn't a single mark on any walls, none of our belongings had any damage, and we couldn't be happier with the service Statewide Moving Co provided.
