My wife and I had a move scheduled over 3 weeks in advance and even confirmed the day before our move, and the day our move was supposed to happen no one showed up. We called several times and left several messages, and no one answered our calls or returned our messages. They left my wife and I with our toddlers with out help on the day we were supposed to move into our new house. We ended up having to find a Uhaul and do the whole move ourselves while trying to watch our kids. This was our first house purchase and their lack of professionalism and reliability put a huge damper on our day. We were left scrambling trying to figure out what to do. They called and left a message at 530pm stating that they dropped the ball. They didn't even say sorry, but just noted that we should try and set up something for the move. We had already made accommodations for that day specifically and had to be out of our apartment. They acted like a move could take place at any time which was upsetting, there is a reason I scheduled it weeks in advance. I know mistakes can happen but they could have had the decency to call us back and accommodate us as soon as they heard our messages. Totally disappointed with this experience.”

We set up our planned movers several weeks before hand, but when we called to verify that we were all set the day before we arrived to the Spokane area in our 26 foot U-Haul, they simply ignored our messages and texts. So that left us calling around the morning we need to unload our U-Haul and we were SO thankful that Spokane Pro Movers were able to quickly send a team over to help. In fact, the owner himself dropped everything and came to help us unload our U-Haul. We were beyond grateful to have the help moving our furniture and boxes into our house. I just received a quote to move to Phoenix from Spokane to include one bedroom set, clothes (a lot), one antique chair, two barstools, dishes, fine China, glasses, silverware, other kitchen items. Great bunch of guys who moved our entire family a few days before Christmas. Tristan, Eric and JT were three awesome guys who moved everything great. They were at it for about 10 hours and never slowed down for a minute and not a single ding or scratch or anything on the furniture or on the walls and not a single item broken, which can happen to anyone anyway, but the point is is that they took good care of all our possessions. They were fun to chat with throughout the day and one of the guys was on his first day on the job and I couldn't Even tell because he was going at it real good and the other guys were teaching him respectfully and treating him like an equal. Horrible! All we had them do was pack the kitchen (because that's the breakables) and pack the truck. Easy, right?!? Nope. I have broken dishes, dents in my pans, scratches, dents and missing parts on all my furniture! There were boxes from the kitchen that had NO packing!! My kitchen items were just thrown into the box! My Electra bike has scratches and rub marks. My wooden table is missing a leg. My antique piano and trunk have scratches and rub marks all over it. I have pictures of it all. So broken-hearted I can't believe it!!!”

The owner (Kyle) is genuinely concerned about the issues with my move and has kept in constant contact with me since he was made aware of the issues. He will be out today to move the remaining boxes to the correct floor. Because of his conscientious manner in handling this I am changing my rating to a 3 star. I'm really sorry this happened but I appreciate that he's trying to make it right. My original scheduled movers we're a no show so I called Spokane Pro Movers and they were able to get me in that day. I was really happy. In retrospect, I should have questioned that. Having been with the military, I have had professional movers numerous times in the past. Never have I seen it take (around) 45 minutes for two two guys to pack a china cabinet. Another thing I have never seen is one guy remove a crystal goblet from the cabinet and roll it across the table for the other guy to scoop up and wrap. Seriously, I can pack it alone in a half hour without risking injury to my crystal. I noticed that one of my sofa pillows was sitting in the dirt. When the worker returned inside the house I asked him if all my cushions were put in the dirt. His response was "... not all of them" While sitting on the sofa after delivery I noticed that one of the seat cushions has what looks to be road oil on it. I also noticed that my hand painted side table had white paint on it with a gouge a few inches behind it. I pointed this out to them and one of the movers used spit and his nail to scratch the white paint off. The gouge is still there. The matching chest has been chipped. The idiots did not release the metal bar on my grandmother's antique dressing table when the top lifted, opting to bend the brace instead. Lid hinge was ripped off the back, back leg was split. I just saw that new standing jewelry armoire has a chip on the base. They can not follow directions. I moved from a large multi story house to a small house with basement. I gave them instructions as to which room was to be put on which floor. 4 boxes were placed on the correct level. Now I have to hire guys to relocate said boxes to their appropriate level. I had recently gone grocery shopping so I loaded a box from the freezer, intending to put it in my car for transport before it had a chance to thaw. I went upstairs to check on the helpers and hen I returned, the box of frozen meat was gone and no one had seen it. It has been 4 days now. I have yet to locate the box but the raw meat can be smelled on both the floors. (Maggots don't move to other boxes, right?) I asked numerous times that my paintings be boxes but the flat out refused. After the fourth request I was told that they would load them on the truck, cushioned with blankets. I guess they didn't take rain and snow in to consideration. They did offer to continue working until it was done but honestly even as nice as they were, I did not want them to touch anything else. I paid around $3,500 and now have to hire movers and pay to have my furniture repaired which can't be done as it is hand painted and bought in Asia. My roommate just got out of the hospital so he needs to stay warm. I had borrowed a blanket from a friend but gave it up to my roommate until our bedding can be located. The box may be sitting in the snow where I found my bed frame, for all I know. A professional moving company will pack an entire room but not Spokane 'Pro' Movers, they pack some things and leave the rest behind on the floor. Once they were finished packing I had to hire a team to go in and pack. In short, if it's a simple no brainier move with belongings consisting of nothing but dog beds or pre-boxed and all going in one room, I would definitely recommend Spokane Pro Movers. I am giving them 1 star as -10 was not an option. Update, I did meet with the owner (I'd say Kevin but I'm probably wrong, I suck with names). He was very professional and explained to me that these issues never come up on his moves. The guys as people were awesome and I'd welcome them in any time. He wanted to immediately get started searching for the raw meat. Unfortunately with 3 emergency heart surgeries in two weeks and needing to hand the old house keys over, my days are pretty crazy. He was good with putting it off until tomorrow (then I remembered more doctor appointments).”
