I was SO impressed by Soho Moving. I recently moved from New York to Jersey City, and the move went as seamlessly as a move can go.They were on time and got to work right away upon arrival, and got the job finished the time they approximated to finish it. They took exceptional care of our furniture and had a few extra boxes for us to use for random items we could not fit in to the boxes we bought previously. I opted for them to pack up our entire kitchen. Everything was carefully packed. Very satisfied with that aspect as well. I have to say we actually enjoyed this move because of them. Moved from New Jersey to South Carolina, the crew showed up prior to our agreed time. They had to do two separate pickups for this move, they started at 8:30 and finished at 11:50. Mike, Steven and Zura were very perfessional and freindly. They wrapped all the furniture making sure that all glass and other fragile items were also packed with care. The worst service. Do not trust. Had 8:00 am appointment. No show. Called them - think I woke the man. Waited 2 - hours till 10:00. Then decided I should pay more when they arrived. Took about 4 hours to pack a 1 bedroom apartment. One of the two men sat in his truck, half the time, watching a sports game. Set everything behind with my cable company because of it.To top it off, noticed about a week later, as I was cleaning, they broke the leg of my dresser. In fact, not only is it all cracked, but they managed to tape it together!! Very mad that I didn't notice that right away!! Extremely awful and unprofessional! Strongly suggest you go through a recommendation, and don't always believe the positive reviews on-line. Besides, who knows if they posted the good ones themselves. Stay far, far away!!!!! Didn't even deserve one star - couldn't post review without putting a star.”
