JUst had a horrible experience with this company. A very small, 2BR move from apartment to residence and storage - a couple of pieces of big furniture. The crew showed up at the appointed time, but never really got started due to misunderstanding of price agreed upon. Owner (Marlow) stated would cost more because more than I had indicated. Since they only accepted cash/credit, I tried to explain I only had the agreed upon amount, but before I could say I'd have to get more cash, they started calling me names, saying I needed to adjust my attitude - just overall insulting and unprofessional approach I would never expect from a truly legitimate organization. To top it off, he made us unpack his rented truck and then the woman just lost it - more insults, racist comments toward us, almost like they wanted a physical confrontation. We ended up calling the police due to the threatening nature of their belittling litany. Had to lock ourselves in the apartment, as they had staked out the parking spot and we couldn't get to our vehicles without receiving an additional avalanche of insults. Stay away from this company - not worth the "low" quotes they initially provide and the poorest, unprofessional encounter I've ever experienced!”

So unprofessional, disrespectful and unsafe. They did not come prepared at all for the job. They were asked to move a VERY heavy washer and agreed to do it for $200. Marlon cursed and complained the entire time he was moving our washer. Yelling about how heavy it was and how I didn't know "sh*t" about moving and how we had the nerve to want something so heavy upstairs. How we should be lucky they were there. When his wife Monique was unable to move the washer (she apparently became trapped under it, but said she had it) he yelled at my husband to come and help them. My husband helped them carry it half way up the stairs. Monique said to take $50 off for the help but Marlon yelled some profanity followed by "no they are paying full price". Marlon then began to yell some more about asking why we didn't remove a part from the washer to make it easier for them. He then informed us that because of us there was damage to the wall. I responded that he could have let us know that before the began to move it that either they needed us to remove the base or that they couldn't do the job. He cursed and yelled some more at me and I told him he needed to leave my house. His wife apologized for him and tried to explain their frustrations with how heavy it was and I didn't understand how moving something that heavy works...I agreed with her totally. I had no idea how it would work which is why we hired what we thought were professionals. I paid Monique in full and when they left we assessed damage. There are several bangs and scrapes to the wall and they broke the hinge off the washer. When we contacted them in regards to insurance or compensation for the damage they said we should have taken it out of what we paid them before they left and we could get our lawyers but to not contact them again.”

I contacted the company to help me move some furniture into a trailer for a move. I had a couch, a mattress & base, a freezer and some boxes. I was told that it would be a $200 2/hr minimum and that I could pay by cash or card. Okay, cool. They said they would come at 8 am Monday morning (today). They called en route to let me know they would be there at 8 or a few minutes after, so far, so good. When they got to my house – a man and a woman – my mom greeted them at the door and they were not wearing masks. She asked them if they had masks and they said no. They didn't believe in wearing them and did not have any. My mom said, "Okay, I have some masks for you." Again they refused, their voices becoming heated as they told us they would not wear masks. Because we needed the job done right away, we said fine, and I explained the things that needed to go into the trailer. The man said with that little bit of stuff, they’d be done in 10-15 minutes. Then proceeded to try to keep arguing about the masks. I said “Please, just go,” meaning go and do the work. I did not want to argue. The woman started yelling at me and calling me rude and evil because I told them to just go, and as I said “Please, please,” she kept going off on me. I just stood there with my hands in the prayer position because I could not figure out what to say or do that wasn’t going to keep me getting berated by this woman. All I wanted was for them to put my one couch, one mattress and base, one freezer and some boxes into my mom’s trailer. They did manhandle my mattress out to the trailer, then demanded payment from my mom. I couldn’t hear what was said to her because I was in the house, only that the woman was yelling at her and I heard Mom say in a very tired voice, “I’m just an old lady,” and the woman say something to the effect of “I don’t give a ****.” She was going to pay by credit card anyway, so I don’t know if they were demanding cash or what. They drove off after that. Thoroughly unprofessional and if anyone was rude or evil in this encounter it was certainly them.”

I've used this family twice in the past 7 months, and they came through each time for us. I needed to get my Mom's stuff moved out of her house, and on short notice, they got me right on the schedule. They were very efficient and careful with all of her things and very friendly people. Within 3 hours, they had a mid-size moving truck loaded, and had it unloaded at our new house about 15 miles away. To help them better, make sure to give as accurate of description as possible of the items you intend to move. This affects what size moving vehicle they plan to bring. On a recent job, I had an extremely heavy new bathroom vanity in my garage that I needed carried up the garage steps into the house, and into the master bathroom. I was amazed that they managed to get it in, but they did! The young lady is a small thing, but don't let that fool you, because she is as strong as an ox! I was amazed she was able to handle that vanity, but she did. These are good, honest, hard working folks, and they will be straight with you.”
