I reported the problem, they said they'd expedite, and they didn't do anything until I followed up. They fixed the furniture but it is, in effect, immovable again. Last year I had Siracusa handle a corporate move from MA to NJ that was just awful. The drivers were impolite and rude; I was told I had too many items. The communication was terrible; they left the first day of packing taking a number of boxes and I had no idea what they had. They left the house in terrible shape and items were poorly packed. I would never use them again and would strongly recommend against anyone using them. Edit* I have sent a number of emails to Siracusa, even including a screenshot of the reply and no one has ever replied.”

I SPOKE DIRECTLY TO THE GUY WHO SUPERVISED THE PROCESS. I WAS AT YOUR WAREHOUSE YESTERDAY GETTING THE BELONGINGS THAT YOU MOVED OUT OF THE DORM ROOM. IM WELL AWARE OF WHAT THE GOVERNOR’S ORDER STATED. YOUR COMPANY SPECIFICALLY WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING THINGS OUT OF MY DAUGHTER’S DORM ROOM. THE STATE OF THE DORM ROOMS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WAY YOUR COMPANY WENT INTO STUDENT ROOMS AND THREW EVERYTHING INTO BOXES. BREAKING, DAMAGING, MISPLACING, AND TAKING OVER $2000 DOLLARS WORTH OF ITEMS WHICH INCLUDE AN IPAD, A NEW BIKE, A VACUUM, AND MULTIPLE PIECES OF FURNITURE THAT WE NEVER GOT BACK FROM YOU. SIRACUSA MOVING COMPANY TAKES NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE THIEVES THEY HAVE WORKING FOR THEM. A POLICE REPORT IS BEING FILED AND THIS COMPANY HAS STOLEN FROM MANY STUDENTS DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME WHERE THEY HAD TO LEAVE THEIR BELONGINGS IN THEIR ROOMS. BECAUSE YOU REFUSED TO GIVE ME DAN SIRACUSA’S NUMBER SO I COULD SPEAK WITH HIM DIRECTLY, YOU CAN LET HIM KNOW THAT HE HAS DISHONEST EMPLOYEES STEALING FROM COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THAT OTHERS ARE GOING TO THE LOCAL NEWS.”
