I thought I was going to be able to move my two bedroom apartment with my girlfriend but she ended up getting sick the weekend of the move(thankfully not CovID-19). My initial call to this company was great. The representative was very friendly and accommodating. I called them on a Saturday, and they were able to fit me in the next day. I made the mistake and only asked for two movers. After I boxed everything, I realized there was quite a bit more to move than I expected. On the day of the move, the movers arrived early! The movers did agree that they would require another mover to assist with the move. The manager of the company was able to get us another mover to assist last minute and he arrived within an hour of being called. They handled everything with care and seemed to have an efficient process of moving items from my apartment located on the 6th floor down to the truck. My new home has three stories with narrow stairs. We wanted one of our couches to be placed on the loft which overlooked the family room. There was no way they would have been able to carry/fit the couch up the stairs, but they did manage to lift the couch up to the loft from the family room. I was very impressed with the attention to detail during this move. They covered the rails, the floor and the walls to make sure they were not damaged. The entire move took about 6 hours. Thank you, Kamran, Gleb and Igor! The three of you made our move so much less stressful. This teams deserves 5-stars for the move. Why I gave this review 4-Stars. I was not presented the contract until after the move. There were several lines that I had to signoff on in order to complete the service. One of the agreements on the form stated that I would be responsible for any parking violations they could encounter. Be sure to get the contract before the move starts. That was an "oops" on my part.”

They arrived early, attentively listened to our instructions, and offered ingenious solutions that could only come from experience. To me, they also seemed to posses superhuman strength and easily lifted things I had considered unmovable! Despite the heat, irregular stairs, and long hours, Daniel and Scott never once complained. When our larger couch didn't fit through the door of our new place, they quickly found an alternative method and ended up hoisting the couch through the second-story window! I would highly recommend Daniel and Scott--we are very grateful for all their hard work!”

*BEWARE* RUN far away from this place and do not trust them with any of your items. They repeatedly dropped my furniture which caused thousands of dollars worth of the damage. The 2 movers dropped my dresser from the back of the truck (the neighbors are my witness and will be in court) and this took two large chunks of wood out of the frame of the dresser. The same happened to my headboard. Speaking of neighbors, they hit their car with the moving truck and took their bumper off - then they laughed about it and said it was no big deal because they have insurance! They took my brand new sofa and placed it on the street in dirt for 30 minutes. It was steam cleaned 2 weeks before. Please see the attached pics. So, what are they going to do about this you ask? Nothing. They offered me $50, laughed about me filing a report with the BBB, and they are not going to repair any of the damage. They said I waived my rights when I signed their documents. The "owner" or senior management actually called me this morning and said my reviews and report will do nothing. Guys, I can not stress enough how terrible this company is. Go with a different company even if you have to spend more because they will destroy your items and it will end up costing so much more in the long run. They worked at a very impressive pace while also taking great care of our furniture and belongings. This was very impressive because I was moving from a third floor apartment into an apartment on the second floor and the new location had no elevator. My move from Beverly Hills to Rowland Heights couldn’t have gone smoother. Right from the get go, Myra of customer service was very prompt and kept me informed of what to expect every step of the way. She even arranged for a virtual tour of my place to scope out the cost accurately. I was going to have everything packed up, but due to some circumstances, i couldn’t pack some of my stuff into boxes. Alex, Matt and Mike were really kind and packed up all of my stuff for me using the boxes I already had to keep my cost low. They constantly checked with me on which stuff needs to go where and kept me informed of fragile items. I’m suffering from whiplash injuries from a car crash and couldn’t lift weights. They were kind enough to move mattresses and some stuff to the curb and also some heavy liquid items to my car. They were very careful with even my plants. Not a single leave was ripped or bent. The communication is first rate - from arranging the move with Myra, talking to Andre about rescheduling, and having Javontai and Josh do the move, I would definitely recommend! Javontai and Josh were a good team - efficient and a pleasure to work with! Javontai (whom Andre refers to as the foreman) is professional and has great attention to detail. We have several large antique pieces that required TLC and that’s just what was given. Josh is new to the job and eager to learn, but you wouldn’t know it - that came out through conversation. A great experience all around and I would definitely turn to Royal Moving - requesting Javontai and Josh - again in the future.
