To anyone reading this, PLEASE, find another company!! My girlfriend and I used them to move last weekend (5/15/21) and they were highly unprofessional. We spoke to them about the move, and the price, a month ahead of our official move in date and they finalized our price at $420, by phone. They knew ahead of time that both locations were on the third floor, and that was the price quoted, including two $50 increases, because of the third floors. They told us that they would be at our apartment by 9am, then changed it to 8am the week of the move. They then changed it back to 9am the day of the move and STILL got there at almost 10am. On top of that, they came as a team of two. They did work hard and completed the move, but it took almost 5 hours. During the move they repeatedly asked for bottled water (which isn't a problem) but all of our stuff is packed... and why aren't you bringing anything with you?! I bring water, to work, with me and I'm not lifting and carrying items as a job. After they finish moving he turns around and says that we owe $860 for the move! That's twice what we were quoted! I can understand a slight fluctuation in price but double?! Absolutely not... not okay. He then begins to talk about how the apartment was on the third floor (he knew that and charged us for that beforehand) and how we should be paying for mileage. What?! The site SAYS local moves are 50 miles or less and there's no mileage charge for that...we moved 29 miles. Which is obviously less than 50. He then argues that it took them almost 5 hours... yeah, I noticed. That's what happens when you bring one person with you to move an apartment! How does it make sense to tell us you're charging by the hour AFTER you already quoted a finalized price, AND moved all of our items and then, AGAIN, you only brought one person! Fragile items were placed upside down, and placed all in one room! They didn't bring items to rooms or ask where we wanted things... but then want to charge DOUBLE. Again, to everyone reading this, spend your money wisely and find someone else or find yourselves in the same boat as us! And I know they're going to respond with some BS justification for their unethical and illogical business practices, but there's no excuse! DO BETTER. If you want to get the job done faster, bring more help! But don't bring one person and then turn around and say you're charging by the hour, after the fact, when that was NEVER what you said to us and we have the pics of the conversation to prove it. When boxes say "fragile" or "this side up" it says that for a reason.”

Awesome moving experience! We live in Watertown and moved 1.5 miles away. We needed movers last minute and R&I fit us into their schedule. I was a little nervous because I have heard stories of movers not showing up but Rafael called to confirm the day before and he even called me again on moving day to let me know they were on their way. There were 2 movers and a decent sized truck. It only took them 2 hours total, including the drive to the new apartment, which was up 2 flights of stairs. They were quick, efficient and very careful. They were very kind and respectful toward us, our belongings and our wood floors. I had an armoire already in the house that I wanted to move into a different room but my boyfriend and I couldn’t do it ourselves. They went the extra mile and moved it for us. They were very polite.
