I moved from JAX to GA, about a 6 hour drive in a car. I contacted Quick Moves after reading several reviews. I explained that I needed pick-upon Wednesday and delivery on Friday, and that at the terminus in GA I would need to have things taken to 2 different places about 12-15 miles apart. Joe came to my home to give me an estimate and I felt it was the most honest and reasonable of the 3 that I got. He did a thorough job of evaluating what the move required. In a few days he brought me boxes, tape, etc. and I did my own packing. Joe and his employee Shaq accomplished my move in two phases with great attention to wrapping and loading, then unloading and unwrapping and placing things where I wanted them. They were professional about everything and fun to work with too. No damages occurred and nothing was lost. Great job Quick Moves! I strongly recommend”

Worst move ever!!!! Owner! Joe, did an onsite estimate. Showed up over 3 hours late on day of move, charged for an extra guy to assist in moving play set. Extra guy stayed in bathroom, ate food in house and asked for more, didn't really assist with any moving. Hired a local guy to put play set together and stiffed him for $ owed. He changed an extra $1000 for the extra guy. Joe showed up (even after doing an onsite review) with a truck too small. They were only able to take a fraction of my things. Didn't finish unloading until 4 AM with only a 3 hr drive. Didn't place boxes/furniture in appropriate rooms. Just filled foyer, living room and den with all boxes. Was to return 3 days later with the rest of belongings. That too, turned into a hassle-not enough staff, time, etc after he collected moving costs. When all belongings finally were delivered, he had other people's property in truck. I have had a grandfather clock broken. (After his employees "picked/broke the lock), electronic cords missing, children's toys missing, and missing pieces/ screws from all things his staff took apart, and the list continues. I have attempted to contact him on his cell phone and left messages and the company with no return call.”

Quick Moves to the Rescue! Joe & Shaq were lifesavers for us. We needed competent movers to relocate all of our large furniture items to our new home. Timing being everything, Quick Moves was able to assist us on less than 24 hours notice. We have moved most of our light weight belonging over, but needed professional help with this next move, as face it the larger furniture items are the ones that invariably get damaged. Joe & Shaq expertly prepared and securely double wrapped our belonging and transported them without any issues. They even took some of our other items to completely fill up their 26' van. Neither man ever took a break during the entire process, worked non-stop from start-to-finish! We researched over 10 different moving companies, reading reviews, comparing prices, and availability; needless to say Quick Moves got the contract. Horrible Service. Money Hungry..... I was really surprised that I paid someone by the hour that moved so slow and did not really take direction well. Only one of the three movers was worth anything. I wish we could have hired him instead of the owner and the 3rd guy who helped. They charged us for the time their truck was broken down and needed a jump and showed up at the wrong storage unit location and charged us for the time it took for them to get to the correct one (my husband told them several times where the correct one was located.)”

In my life, I have moved 7 times. Twice on my own and five times by movers hired by my employer as part of a job assignment. I've had my share of good and bad moves and movers. Recently, I hired Quick Moves of Florida to move my household belongings. Prior to signing them up, I asked around and was surprised at the number of people who were so displeased with the movers they had used. Needless to say, this feedback worried me. I looked them up on YELP and saw that the comments were all good. I spoke to Michelle in the office and liked her explanation and decided to hire them. Move day was January 30th. They were scheduled to be at my door between 9-9:30am. At 8:30, I got a call from the lead guy, Joe, who said that they would be a little late. The two movers and their truck rolled up to my driveway at 10am. Joe Stingone introduced himself and his partner and we discussed what was about to happen. Then they got to work. They loaded my packed boxes and furniture. Both of them - Joe and Jonathan - were very nice and respectful. They were talkative and asking me relevant questions such as what stays and what goes. They used blankets to wrap most of the furniture (dressers, bookcases and some tables) so they would not get damaged in the move. They handled fragile items with care. I was amidst the whole time but not in their way nor micro-managing their work. The job was quick and efficient and finished earlier than I expected. Their fees are reasonable and not outlandish. I saw them do really good work - the best that I had seen to date. I highly recommend Quick Moves of Florida.”
