Everything went pretty smoothly the movers showed up on my time the Friday we reserved the movers... The next day on Saturday we went back to clean the apartment and we noticed two tears in the linoleum from where the movers had torn the floor when moving the refrigerator . I texted the moving company and they told me to send the pictures ... They said it looks like the tears the tears were already there then never answered anymore of my texts... Luckily the apartment didn't charge us ... But if you use this moving service you better make sure you notice any damage the movers do right then and there or the moving company will not pay for damage. Even if you catch it it would not surprise me if they tell you that they believe it was already there”

A very unsatisfactory experience. When I called to get a quote, I was quite clear as to the size of my house and the amount of furniture I have. David B******* told me a 26’ truck is sufficient and I could have a two or three man team. I chose 3. When the driver, Johan, walked two steps into my house he said it would not be possible to get everything into my the truck and that he didn’t have a big enough team. He also said he doesn’t make two trips, so what did I want him to do? I asked him if he was telling me he couldn’t do what was contracted and he replied that he wasn’t going to get it all in the truck, so did I want him to proceed or not? I needed to have my things moved so I told him to proceed. He was combative with me all day. When I told him I was following the rules according to what Mr. B******* told me, he said he didn’t know who that is, and that he must be new. I posted a comment on the ******** page of Puget Sound Moving and the owner responded that I told them my house was 1100 square feet and two of the rooms were “virtually empty”. Blatantly untrue. I have used professionally movers many times and I know that would be counter productive. The day of the move my husband and I both tried to call their office. My husband was told the owner would call him back. That was three weeks ago. I emailed Mr. B******* and still have not had a response.”

Moved from Tacoma to Federal Way. I was worried there would not be enough room on their truck because we had moved four months before and filled up the largest U-Haul truck. Puget Sound Moving showed up with two trucks! We filled 3/4 of one truck, which tells me their trucks are larger than U-Haul's. Puget Sound Moving had clean blankets and took particular care boxing furniture with glass panels by cutting cardboard to the size of the glass and placing it over the glass before wrapping with blanket and plastic wrap. Hi All, I am not a big fan of writing negative reviews and will keep this short as I feel at least an honest opinion would help you make the right decision of choosing the moving service. I booked my appointment with Puget Sound 3 weeks ago. My move was scheduled on Nov 29th and movers were supposed to show up at 8:30 am. They didn't show up till 9:15 so I called and spoke to Kalton at Puget Sound who had no idea on where the movers are. After 2 hrs, I get a call back that movers have called and sick. 1st manager didn't know what was going on, and they had me wait for 2 hrs and let me know movers are not showing up. Nov 29th was day after Thanksgiving. This was truly a carelessness on their part and bad experience on my part. Now they set me up with another movers for next day. These movers were terrible! They kept taking Smoke breaks, they wasted so much time while telling me that they were having Cramps due to constant working for last couple of days as well as they damaged a headboard and one of my walls. They also told me that they would assemble certain furniture so they could leave on time for another job. I was quoted for the job for 7 hrs for this move and movers end up taking 15 hrs which was completely unreasonable as this was due to them taking many breaks and purposefully slowing down. It was an integrity issue more than anything else. I called them to give the feedback many times right after my move and they did not even called me back once!! This is what I called dishonesty and bad customer service as they did not wanted to take accountability. I once able to get hold of Jamie M***** the operations mgr and she told me since we haven't done any contract with you, we don't take any responsibility of your experience. I hope reading through the above gives you perspective on making the right choice. I felt it was not just dreadful customer service but lack of integrity on the business part. Hope this helps.
