I agreed to improve this review if Presto compensated me for the full weight of the item (342.00 for a damaged Steinway). So here is a recount of what happened. I believe the folks who came to pick up the piano did a satisfactory job taking piano apart and wrapping it up. It left for their warehouse in Texas then some Santa Fe movers brought the piano. The Santa Fe movers didn't know how to move a grand. One fellow was instructing two young fellows who never had piano experience at all. However I even had to tell the lead guy which way the sheet music rack went in...he was trying to force it in backwards. The worst was that the edge of the finish by the keyboard was severely damaged when unwrapped. It may have hit the gravel on my road, don't know. But it was during unloading it had to have happened based on where damage was located. After filing a complaint it took a negative Yelp comment to move the case along. Finally I was given the best the base claim they would allow with the agreement I'd improve my review, which I was happy to do. I waited for the check and first was told I'd get it after the review was fixed or removed. I refused, got the check and now I changed the review from one to 3 stars and an update. folks working them are reputable. Obviously 342.00 won't fix a damaged Steinway but I'm happy that they attempted to resolve this issue.”

I was referred to this company by one of their competitors! Turned out to be an excellent referral as the move from CA to SC could not have gone any better. Not one thing was damaged nor missing. The crew that picked up my household goods couldn't have been anymore professional, not a ding or dent on anything they moved. Each item as packed perfectly. I was told 9t could take from 7-14 business days to receive my goods as it was a partial load. The driver called 2 days in advance to let me know where they were and when to expect them. I recently moved from Southern California to Washington State. Henry gave me an accurate estimate, and clearly explained the fine print. I ask a lot of questions and he was always patient and answered all of them. The crew that picked up my belongings in California was professional and worked efficiently. Martine is great! There were some glitches at the end, though this move was during the winter storms, so it could have been one of the reasons. I was missing a couple of items, but they were found and delivered later, thankfully. Henry was easy to contact and always responsive. I appreciate that he made things smooth and he seemed to truly care that my things were recovered and delivered, which they were. Despite the storms, my items made it right at the end of the promised window. I do credit Henry with taking care of the minor hiccups along the way. It really helps to have a liaison that cares.”

The stuff were packaged neatly, thoroughly cushioned ,giving extra detailing to the screws of my wall decors. I would first like to say that I write very honest reviews. I hired Presto to move us from Calif to Washington state. The person I delt with was Henry which was also the person to come to my home and do a in house assessment for which no other company would do that. He gave me a very honest quote on our household goods. The day of the move, the movers worked hard and fast and wrapped everything that was needed. They made sure that my stuff was protected as much as it could be. I want to say also that the delivery was fast, faster than it was promised actually. the movers that moved our stuff into our new home were nice guys and it was at night time here in Wa, so a lot of stuff being brought into my home wasnt checked at the time, so I couldnt really assess any damage of goods. After the move was finished and my wife and I went through all the stuff , YES there was some damaged items. I do understand damage sucks, but it does happen when stuff is moved in and out of their trucks to ship. We did have our share of broken ceramic items, some furniture had some damage also. I called Henry about the damage and he jumped on it saying that he will take care of me as promised from day 1 that he would do. Now this did take awhile to go through the initial process of taking pics, writing down the value and damaged items etc to submit to their claims dept. which could of taken up to 120 days, BUT Henry again did what he said he would do and was on top of it. The process took very little time and Henry called me today and said it was done and he would go to bat for any and all that was denied, HE DID!!. I am very grateful for HENRY and sticking to his word. I am happy about the settlement, yes it can always be more as it doesnt ever cover it all, but he got us as much as possible which was good for us. I want people to understand, there are many many movers out there, I know because I did my research for over a month, talking to and emailing companies for quotes, their process, time of moves etc. Believe me Presto was the best quote, they came out to my home to give me the best price, and my stuff was delivered quickly. Every moving company is going to have damaged items, it happens. I am fully content with Presto and HENRY with our move. Henry would be the reason why I would use Presto again. So if your looking for a company to move your stuff, do your own research but definitely call Presto and compare. Thank you Henry for your hard work and for honoring your word.”

Presto Logistics moved my husband and I from LA to GA, and they were very great. They picked up our things quickly and during the alotted time, we really had primarily 40+ boxes medium to large; we had what they considered a smaller load. We did incur some unexpected charges on the day of pick up, a long carry and an elevator charge which was later credited. During the initial quote, we did not have a clear number of boxes, otherwise I do not think there would have been any issues. I had a verbal number and Presto had a smaller number on the contract. Ashley and Ross from Presto, did call about the charges, and confirm dates and times based on our expectations. We received our belongings in tact, minor bumps on the boxes, but nothing that would cause alarm. The entire team was nice and professional, and I would definitely use them again! This is a weird industry, so you want to have legit companies handling your personal belongings and some of the companies that reached out were def not professional.”

Henry and everyone from Presto made the transition go so well . I first had Henry come and give me an estimate ,he provided us with a fair and honest bid explaining exactly what all the costs would be and how all of our furniture would be handled . The day of the move from SoCal , they arrived on time worked Quickly and efficiently! There were no surprise expenses ! We paid for an exact delivery day in Austin and as promised Ben pulled up with the truck bright and early on the exact date. Austin has a lot of low trees and narrow streets yet Ben managed to get the truck right out front and the local crew Antony Antony and Johnny were very professional, hard working polite and very importantly careful!! Ben made sure the inventory all matched and they put together my beds and furniture just great ! Change is hard for everyone, but this moving company helps make the change less stressful !”

They did a cross country move for me. Pricing wise, they were not the cheapest but definitely on the lower middle of the 8 quotes I got, that seemed safe as I heard that some companies will jack up the rate by thousands once they assess your stuff in person. They do in person quotes and from what I read its a huge red flag if a company doesn't do that. I think I paid 500 more than they quoted but I was ready for that. Communication was great throughout the process. They label and document everything you own with a barcode they scan to keep track of your stuff. I was able to give them 3 weeks notice for the delivery date so they were able to get my stuff to me 2 days after we got the keys to our house. All the movers were courteous and professional. And the reason I'm writing this review is they misplaced a few things, nothing major just a kids picnic table and a box or two. Honestly I noticed but I didn't bother calling to report it I just wrote it off as a casualty of a cross country move. However, they located my things anyway because of their amazing tagging system and delivered them a month later. I couldn't believe it when they called! I would recommend them and use them again I thought it was a great experience overall...and was really impressed they returned the missing items even thought I had not reported anything missing.”

Arrived on 21st day. 35 mins notice in advance. Company attempted to ask for additional fee twice once truck on road. First because zip code change although I had quoted the same rate for both locations. 2nd because they claim their truck is too big for the east coast road therefore asking for additional 350 although only 2 turns after a main freeway to destination. Once finally arrived driver asking for last portion of cash before unload for even open the door of the truck to let you see if anything is missing”

Not only did they loose all of my living room and dining room furniture, Henry was beyond rude on the phone, " I didn't know today was the deadline to find your furniture," and has no idea where it is. How can you loose leather couch, loveseat, pie cabinet, 2 bathroom stands, 6 chairs and my dining room table and basically everything I owned? I am now in a new State and on top of spending over $5K for the move, had to buy all new furniture because Henry doesn't think it's his fault. I am 66 years old and disabled, an easy mark.
