I really wanted to give them a good review, mostly because the guys that moved me out of my place we're great. BUT the rest of the experience, not great at all. Moved from San Luis Obispo to Salt Lake City. Received my delivery window when my stuff was picked up (about 10 days). That delivery window came and went, with no communication on where my stuff was or notification that is was delayed. The last day of the window I reached out and they let me know they'd check for an update. No update given. Had to reach out again, and was informed it would arrive to SLC in 4 days. Then the new delivery date came and went, and yet no communication or confirmation of delivery. Weekend happened, Monday (still nothing). So finally I call the delivery partner, and they let me know they'll be delivering my stuff in the morning. So much for a 24 hour notice. If you're moving out of state I recommend going with someone who has a guaranteed delivery date and knows how to communicate, unless you enjoy having no idea when your stuff will arrive and spending "just one more night" in a hotel waiting for a response from your moving company. Update: to add to the lack of communication and professionalism, I have found several noticeable damages to my items since receiving.”

I have used Yelp! before to get quotes for door-to-door moves in SoCal. Last one was really good, but Precision was the BEST! I don't get to review many restaurants these days due to the Pandemic, but we are using essential services and Precision Moving & Storage definitely deserves their 5 star rating! Great service started from the quoting process. On Yelp!, you can get a quote from Movers, and opt for multiple quotes. I chose multiple quotes and seriously considered 3 of 5 movers in the area. Precision was the first to respond and their rates are fair. For something as important as moving, I chose the highest rated with fair costs, not the lowest price. After a response to my quote, and a couple of Yelp! messages, we finished the booking on the phone, and we got an email confirmation. They called to confirm before arrival, arrived on time, worked very efficiently, all while being professional and kind. They finished in far less time than expected AND loaded our rental SUV full of airport luggage before they left. The drop off was in a garage with some items in the house, and they helped clear some areas onsite. The final bill was lower than expected because they worked so quickly. My housemates were moving out of a 3-bedroom = apartment that was not easy to get furniture in and out of (they had to go down 3 floors on an elevator, through an entire parking garage, and to the street).
