Tried to pay me to remove review I was very disappointed with my experience with Nationwide Vans Lines. I was moving from Philadelphia to the Boston area and needed my belongings placed in storage until I found an apartment. I booked it several months in advance and was promised by Rich a 2-day window for pick-up which would be a guaranteed date by one month of the move (it is very difficult for me to take off a day from work without several weeks notice). However, when I called a month before the date I was told that they couldn't narrow it down any further than the 2-day window. When I was finally able to talk to a supervisor, Alana, she explained that Rich was fired because he was giving out wrong information and agreed to stand by his promise. Rich had also told me that there would be a 7-day window for delivery. Two weeks before the move, I became aware that delivery would be impossible on the 7th day and was told by another associate that they would try to accommodate me. Move out day was fine (although they were somewhat late). Unfortunately, the price was higher than the estimate. Despite my daily phone calls they did not delivery my belongings within the 6 days I was available. I spoke to Kimberly who was rude and acted annoyed that I was bothering her. She kept insisting she would call with updates but never did. Finally when I called on day 5 she said my delivery would not be until day 7 and if I couldn't be there to accept it there would be over $1000 to delay the delivery. Fortunately I was able to speak to a supervisor, Nicole, who agreed to delivery it the following Monday or Tuesday with no extra charge. I was never contacted and the delivery date was continually postponed (which I only found out because I kept contacting them). My belongings were finally delivered almost 3 weeks after the pickup date. When they were finished 2 boxes were unaccounted for. The movers insisted they were moved in but they neglected to check them off. They refused to move anything in order to check. I guess I won't know until I have everything moved out. It will certainly not be by Nationwide Vans. Update: 2 days after I posted this review I was contacted by Rick. He offered me $500 to either take down the review or change it to a 5-star review. I would be wary of the good reviews for this company.”

I contacted Nationwide over a year ago to move my home from Delaware to South Carolina. I worked with Laurie Osorio Senior Relocation Specialist, as our plans and needs changed we needed to make a partial move for now. I never made an interstate move before, she walked me through all the important details I needed to know..She gave great advice whether I hired them or another carrier. Her honest and caring answers indicated to me she understood the importance of making a good decision in selecting a moving carrier. She was always available for questions and suggestions. This was the worse experience we ever had with a mover. The day after receiving our property, I called Mr. Rick Vera saying lot of items were broken. He told me to take pictures and write down on a claim form all that was broken or damaged. We had an Oak Hutch that is completely destroyed, a Cherry Wood Desk that our son made for us in Trade school that a leg was broken.13 "Precious Moment Figurines" were broken and crystal dishes. The adjusters first words out of his mouth when he saw the damage was "was this shipment in an accident?" After one year and 4 months later fighting for what we thought was right, we only got compensated for just a few items. Our dining room Oak Table and chairs are all twisted from the heat of storage or transporting from Massachusetts to S. Carolina. I would not recommend these movers to anyone! I hope this never happens to anyone else. Please use a better mover!”

Love Nationwide Van Lines ! I have had the pleasure of trusting Nationwide Van LInes with several moves, the first in December of 2016. After that , I used Nationwide for 3 more moves , the last one in June of 2019. It is never easy to move and to have to do it so many times in a short amount of time is beyond frustrating. Each time I needed to move, I called Laurie in the main office and she expertly organized the entire move. From the beginning list of items to go on the truck, to the route, the costs, driver phone numbers.....everything was very straightforward and clear. She made every move very bearable for me. On each move, there were sometimes the same crew members with a new person or just all new crew to me. But every person was seriously friendly, very professional in how they wrapped, assembled or disassembled my goods. I never lost anything in any of the moves. I may have had a slightly crushed lampshade. That's it though. I've been pleased with every move. Laurie is unbelievable in how she keeps track, follows up and stays organized even with the changes I'd throw at her on a daily basis. My most precious items to be moved were in huge Rubbermaid Containers that I've had for years. The containers housed very old, vintage Christmas Ornaments that I inherited. I have hundreds of them. There was never a broken one at all. I'm still amazed by that. I read a few of the negative reviews on this Trust Link page and i must say that I find the information hard to believe. No one in this moving company rushes to do their job. They take care to care for your goods. Have these customers not been happy with the fees? Maybe. Who knows but Nationwide is comparable fee wise to most but I believe they are better than most. I was lucky enough to meet Shahaf, the owner of Nationwide as he drove the truck to my last move destination in Seminole, FL. I was happy to let him know how pleased I have been with every move. In fact, I may be heading back to the Northeast after all and if I do, you know that Nationwide will be my moving company.”

A great move experience from Florida to Virginia I have to say, packing and moving is one of the most stressful experiences in anyone's life. After assembling your life's belongings into a bunch of bags and boxes, one is hesitant in entrusting those with complete strangers. Thankfully, I did my research online ahead of time, as there were MANY poorly rated moving companies in Florida and across the country. However, one place that seemed to have overwhelmingly positive reviews was Nationwide Van Lines. My biggest issue was finding a company that didn't use a third-party for the loading - whatever company I hired, I wanted to use THEIR people and THEIR truck. Of all of the moving companies that I researched, NVL was one of the very few that did just this, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Alanna was outstanding to deal with when it came to doing the furniture inventory, and Rick communicated all of the details regarding the move perfectly. The NVL guys arrived at the house at the time they stated, and there were three of them - while one did the paperwork, the other two started wrapping all of the furniture. As a plus, they were all friendly, cordial, and polite. The whole process took roughly 5 hours to load up all of the furniture and boxes, but it was done in the most efficient way possible. These guys busted their asses to get this done. The drop-off took around 11 days if I remember correctly (they give up to 14), and two of the original three guys delivered my stuff as well - AND it never left that truck, so I didn't have to worry about any missing boxes. They had to break up the move over 2 days due to the weather, but they still did it and never once complained - even with hauling the heavy pieces of furniture to the third floor. If ever I need to do another long-distance move again, I won't hesitate in using Nationwide Van Lines again. What is normally a stressful experience in anyone's life was made much less so by this company and their outstanding employees.”

(have moved 6 times across the US) They were able to accommodate me on short notice and were willing to do whatever it took to make my move as seamless and without stress. Pierre and Dontae arrived at our Florida condo on time and did an awesome job of wrapping and taping our furniture and fixtures, loading boxes and securing items with bubble wrap, taping them securely, then, loading everything onto the truck. Custom boxes for TV's and mirrors were made, and every item was tagged with a number for tracking purposes. They worked almost non-stop for hours, taking only a short break outside. They left the condo neat and clean from all of the packing work they did. Pierre and Lonzo delivered our furniture and fixtures to our home in Pennsylvania on schedule. We were amazed that nothing was broken or damaged and at how hard they worked to unwrap everything and cleanup when they were done. We also appreciate the help of Alana and her help with the online shipping order and payment processes which were very efficient and well managed.
