OVERCHARGED AND DID NOT PAY BACK. Joe told me that his services cost $80/hour. Second time I called, he said it was $75/hour. His contract indicated $80/hour. Right after his work was done, he demanded that I pay the amount asap and in cash, right there. He would not accept invoicing and paying later. I did not have cash on me (he had failed to warn me ahead that he preferred cash), so I had to pay immediately through paypal, which cost me $50 more. After I parted with Joe, I realized that he overcharged by $50, of which I notified him immediately. He admitted the overcharge, but explained that he probably was thinking of $90/hour when told me the total amount, hence the overcharge. I told him that his contract stated $80 and I heard from him not more than $80 before. He told me to request the reimbursement through paypal so that he could pay back the overcharge, which I did. I gave him a few days to pay. I never heard from him after notifying him that I sent the request. He never paid the amount. I am not going to classify this as anything, but these are the facts, and I will not only never use his service again, but also will tell everyone willing to listen to what happened and report him to all agencies available for that purpose.”
