“ Regarding my move from Henderson NV to Redding CA. I would have given Muscle Movers one star but I believe the owner Vincent was genuinely concerned and disappointed regarding our move. I have been through 4 moves with hired movers and by far Muscle movers was the worst experience I have ever had. The guy, Carlos running the job didn't seem to have any concern for our property. I specifically asked him to pack and wrap our ceramic kiln and he said that he hates stretch wrap and just draped it with blankets. The owner forgot to bring tape to the job so they were not prepared. He assured me the crew would wrap our goods with blankets and shrink wrap.... they didn't. They "draped" most of our furniture instead of wrapping it. Some of our furniture did not get protected at all. Vincent had to come back after the initial load job and try and salvage (wrap) what his crew missed. The whole load should have been unloaded and re-loaded. When we arrived at the destination, I hired movers and they were shocked with the load job. They explained to me how that load job gave professional movers a bad name. The movers at the destination explained to me that Muscle movers loaded my boxes carelessly. They were supposed to put the heavy boxes on the bottom and the light ones on the top. This did not happen. The movers at the destination also let me know that the load should have been strapped off periodically, but it was only strapped off at the end. Vincent asked me to rent 120 moving blankets and purchase 20 straps for the job. His crew used approximately half of the blankets and a quarter of the purchased straps. I had to pay for all the unused material. Vincent seemed concerned and let me know that he fired 3/4 of the crew after my job. That is probably a good choice for his business, but unfortunately for me the damage is already done. I have new scratches on my furniture and who knows how the items in the boxes will turn out. We put them all in storage so we wont know for months how much damage has been done. I think Vincent has a good heart and work ethic but he probably needs to do some soul searching regarding what type of business he wants to run. Vincent asked me how he could make it right, and I told him it wasn't about money for me. I trusted what he sold me and didn't get the quality of product he was selling. Money can't really fix this, I had antiques and heirlooms that were damaged. He had the opportunity to unload and re-pack the trucks but he didn't take it, now I have to pay. Bottom line, I could not recommend this company to anyone.”
