If anyone is looking for an amazing moving company, Murphy Family Movers came to save the day after we hired two men and a truck (they said they would wear masks around a high risk person and ditched the job when asked nicely) we were left with a 4,000sf home and no movers. I want to say that the movers from murphy family movers restored my faith in humanity, these were some of the sweetest and hard working people I have ever met. Not only did they get the job done- but they kept their masks on despite how frustrating wearing one is (we even drove to the bank and tipped them double) When the immunocompromised person came inside they all left the house and stood on the sidewalk to give them space- talk about going above and beyond! It warmed my heart to see such caring people in this world. Two men and a truck charged $5,000 and Murphy's charged $2,800 with an extra crew member! And these movers were amazing people, I can't express how kind they were. I was almost in tears over how sweet these movers were.”

I truly have no idea where I should begin telling you about these amazing people. Jack Murphy from the beginning was so professional and so awesome with working with our schedule for our moving date and closing date. From the beginning Jack Murphy promised me that I have zero worries about getting all my stuff moved from our old house to our new house. He told me he would work with us on the date and time when we needed him no questions asked. The movers showed up earlier than they even said they would and they got right to work, they made sure everything was packed tightly, they made sure everything was taken care of, they made sure all of my stuff was safe and unharmed. All the gentlemen that showed up to my home we're so polite and so professional that I didn't even realize that I was actually dealing with a moving company. All of them showed so much respect for my stuff and my personal items, every time I had a question one or all the gentlemen would answer it and reassure me that I have zero worries. These guys went above and beyond what I even thought they were going to do. They did two trips, the first trip they loaded up everything they could packed tightly. they went to the new home, unloaded everything very quickly, and then headed back for a second load. They showed up the second time loaded up all of my remaining things, even when I was still throwing stuff at them because more things were coming up and we had to be out of there quicker than we planned on, all four guys worked quickly and still reassured me not to worry they will take care of everything. They packed the second load, drove back to our new home and unloaded everything as quickly as possible. I must say throughout this whole process from being at my home at 8:30 in the morning till I believe almost 11:00 at night not even 1 complaint came out of these guys mouth, all they constantly did is spoke politely to me my wife and my mother ,they kept reassuring us everything's going to be great and they continue to work hard loading and unloading. I personally would like to say to Jack Murphy thank you for having the business that you do, hiring The Professional workers that you hired, teaching these guys the way they are taught to take care of a family like they did to mine. I will most definitely always recommend Murphy Movers if any of my family and friends. I give these guys 10 Stars 10 thumbs up and a huge huge thank you. A little late posting, but shout out to Murphy Family Movers. I purchased a condo but had to move my belongings into storage to bridge the gap between my apartment lease & closing date. With everything I forgot to hire movers to move my stuff out of storage. Murphy Family Movers to the rescue. I contacted them with a little over 1 week & received exceptional service. Adam, Vinny, Eric, & Peter showed up right on time the morning of my move & proceeded to empty my storage unit in record time. While waiting for the back of the truck to get tied down to prevent damage one of the movers was even nice enough to help the family moving out next to us with loading their truck with a few items. When they arrived at my condo they quickly came in & checked out the layout & put down runners to protect the flooring. They moved quickly & professionally, completing the job in less than 3 hours flat. Advertisement is misleading. This might be a family owned business but is NOT a family run business. We were assured that Covid-19 CDC precautions were used and that was very important because of underlying health risks. 3 men showed up-no masks, no gloves. I asked them to wear masks and 1 man put a mask on and never took it off, 1 man had to be asked over and over, and 1 man NEVER put a mask on. None ever wore gloves. As far as the actual move-they hit the wall with the leg of the couch putting a deep gouge in the apt. drywall. They carried 1 of a 2 tower entertainment center by decorative crown molding and it broke off causing them to drop it and split and break the side of it. The other tower had been moved via dolly without incident. Worst of all-the mover said they couldn’t be responsible for cheap made furniture!”
