We were downsizing and moving from a house to a smaller apartment. When they showed up on the day of our move on November, 1 they were all wearing uniforms and did their very best to put my worries at ease. The moving team was terrific! Each member of the team worked hard and with great care. Their attitude was excellent, and they really worked together as a team who helped each other throughout the move. I just used Movers Norfolk recently and I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone else. On the plus side, they had a low rate and worked moderately fast. Now for the negatives: They seemed to have little to no respect for my belongings. I don't think I have super high expectations, but when I label a box "this side up" and draw arrows facing that side, I don't think it's much to ask to put that side up. Also, don't bother labeling some of your boxes as 'fragile' because they don't get treated any differently. Also, don't have them pack ANY of your belongings for moving. They charged me $50 to put one layer of bubblewrap over one mirror. Furthermore, one of my dressers had multiple scratches on the top of it, and I'm sure I'll find more damaged items after I take my belongings out of the storage unit that they haphazardly threw everything into. Oh, and if you go to their website where it clearly says "no travel time fees" and "no hidden fees", don't believe that because they charge a travel time fee in the summer equal to one hour of their rate and there's a hidden fee for a $30 fuel charge to go the 2 miles between my apartment and storage unit. And also, the movers are extremely unpersonable and barely talk to you. Bottom line, if you're looking to move a bunch of stuff that you don't care at all about for cheap, these are your people. If you don't want to have to pay to fix all of your belongings after your move, go with another moving company.”

This is an awful moving company! Do not use! They are incredibly unprofessional, they are rude, they destroy pretty much all of your belongings, they lie about things such as locking your truck and telling you you will be the only one with a key to feel secure, then they steal a key and tell you you must have lost the key and they unload and reload the truck without your consent or knowledge. I found this out because when the truck arrived it was packed differently and I confronted them about it and they tried to lie to me. They do not show up when they say they will and have tons of excuses and end up trying to blame you for them being late. You have to do most of their work of loading and unloading the truck for them and they try to charge you extra fees that were not previously agreed upon. All in all I would never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and pay a little bit more to go with another company. It's worth the extra money for sure so you don't have to deal with them and then also replace all of your belongings.”

We have been using Alex and his crew for several moves since 2014. They are very professional, hard working, honest and excellent to deal with. On a recent move from one home to another, they were engaged to also pack the rooms and items within. Everything was carefully organized and packed in boxes, and nothing was missing or broken. The cost of their service is not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. The only issue we have had with them is they are so overbooked with jobs they have not enough crew and are sometimes late. This is an area of their business that needs to be worked on. We will continue to use this company and also to recommend them to others.”
