100% positive experience! I've moved several times in the last handful of years so I have plenty of comparisons to rely on. This company was just plain great to work with. I loved that they were a family run business... Michael and Mike (father and son) were completely accessible, available, and even cheerful about offering useful advice and answering my questions beforehand, as well as delivering packing supplies, etc. Their relatives working in the office had the same helpful attitude. The estimate was very reasonable, prompt and professional, and I felt confident that there would be no surprises. As it turned out, I was right. Mine was a 2-day move with a 4 hour drive in-between. The crew who loaded my household onto the truck was fast and efficient, and used extra caution and good sense. The truck was tightly packed to the gills when it became apparent that a few items were just not going to make it on the truck, despite their planning and maneuvering. They immediately sent for a second vehicle, a large van this time, and Mike explained that the additional expense of a second vehicle and additional gas costs were HIS problem and not mine. They stuck to the original agreement and did not charge me a penny more than the original estimate. Moving IN day the following morning went beautifully. They were an extremely pleasant group of guys, they were on time after the lengthy drive, and unloaded very efficiently. At one point we were going to take a break for pizza, but they insisted on working straight through because there was a threat of rain coming our way and they didn't want to risk my furniture getting wet while unloading. I could not be more pleased with the job they did. I would call on them without hesitation if I ever have to go through the burden of moving again! The day of my move i was doing small loads back and forth to my new place and when i pulled in there were 2 movers already there. White. Spoke english. Young. Stong and fast. Super nice. Super cool. My name is Brenda, and I'd like to share my experience about these amazing people......ln September I recieved a business card from my friends in Florida. They said these were good movers. I needed help to load a moving truck from storage, then drive the truck back to NY myself. I called and spoke to Sheila to ask if they had movers available that upcoming Sunday. I felt so comfortable speaking with her, such a warm and kind woman. I explained to her that I needed to go back to NY because I was donating a kidney to save the life of a fellow police officer. I told her that I was a retired police officer from NY. She said she would get back to me later that afternoon with a quote. I recieved a call later that day from Michael Meehan, Shielas son. He told me that I was the topic of conversation in their office all day. He told me that his family wanted to "pay it forward" for my being a police officer and what I was doing for another human being. He told me that his family wanted offer me three movers that Sunday free of charge! I couldn't believe anyone would want to do something so nice for me! I had to pull over to the side of the road, because I was crying so hard......and if that offer wasn't enough.........then he told me that his family wanted to go further, and offer to load my things, provide the movers, the truck, and drive it all home in NY for me, for the price that it would have cost me to just rent a moving truck! $1500. Oh, my God, I thought, Wow! I cannot believe what this family was offering to do for me, all out of the goodness of their heart! This move would have cost atleast 4 or 5 thousand dollars! I was so humbled that this family would give me this generous gift. I cried so much, I just couldn't believe it! They provided me with 3 amazing movers named Tom, Jamar and Zach to load up in Florida. And they didn't just give me a truck, they gave me a tractor trailer! Tom drove all my belongings all the way to NY. On that end they provided me with 2 great men named Craig and Todd, and of course Tom, who drove it all the way up from Florida to NY. Tom kept in close contact with me the entire drive up, letting me know exactly when he would arrive with my things. I cannot thank this family enough for their generosity for what they did for me. Words can never express my gratitude! Ever!! What a wonderful family they are! All of my belongings arrived in perfect condition. I watched them load and unload all of my things, admiring just how well they were packed and loaded, with such care! I am truely humbled to my core by this wonderful family. They broke mirrored furniture because the pieces were not properly wrapped. They did not shrink wrap a white leather couch like promised m. They dented new casing on the doors. Nothing was addressed or fixed. They are paying out the broken mirror at a very little price that will not cover the repair. They owners did not care and told me that’s the way it is. No professional or curtosy from them to fix the broken piece. I would not recommend their services.”

Nice guys who moved the furniture and everything else. But all they did was beat the crap out of our furniture. We moved in here around Thanksgiving and we are still finding little nicks in our cabinets and little broken things that keep popping up to this day. They broke a circular beveled mirror along with nicking the frame it was sitting in. I called. It was not worth my time to fight . I expected more since I was recommended by a woman they know very well. But that did not make a bit of difference. They still did not care about our things”

We moved from a 5 bedroom 2700 sq.ft. home to a 3 bedroom 1600sq.ft home 7 miles away. I did most of the packing myself and needed the kitchen, garage and my husbands office packed up. I am a 9/11 rescuer with some 9/11 related conditions. Meehan, the owner came and gave us an estimate for this move. He said he would send 2 packers for the kitchen, office and garage. The day of the move 5 guys showed up. One was supposed to be the supervisor. They came in like keystone cops. They were all over the place upstairs and downstairs. One stayed in the truck. There was no order/organization to how they worked. The supervisor was the only one packing. He didn't direct or supervise. Nice enough guy. He stayed in the kitchen while the rest were upstairs. He eventually made his way to the garage to do packing there. Someone else was upstairs packing up my husbands office. They came at 9am the job wasn't finished until 12:30am My husband had an envelope of cash on his desk with some papers. the envelope had a significant amount of cash in it. It was money left over from the purchase of a car. It has never showed up. I had a silver coin necklace that my husband purchased for me in July in the Keys. That still hasn't showed up. I had matching 1940 mahogany china cabinets that were in mint condition. One was destroyed as it was being taken out of the truck at our new home. They never wrapped it with shrink wrap so as it was being taken out of the truck the bow shaped glass door swung open and snapped off the hinges onto the ground. A brand new $1800.00 dinning room table that seats 10 that I always had covered to avoid scratching was never covered and delivered with chips and scratches all over the surface. I suspect they put boxes on top of it. A lenox vase that we have had for over 35 years and was packed by the one supervisor doing the packing downstairs was shattered... the list goes on and on. My husband went to the boxes they packed of his office item and started opening them looking for the envelope and his papers. He was frustrated. It was late. He dropped one of the boxes on the floor and left. He could not find the envelope with the money. One of the guys who claims to have packed up my husbands office came into the room and kicked the box on the floor. I yelled at him. He said he was the one that packed up the office. He acted upset, not concerned. None of it went well. We filed a police report for the missing money and the necklace. I spoke to the wife at length who advised me to file a police report. She said people do it all the time then she does not hear from them again. she said they probably find their items. We never found ours. We have no need to follow up with this company because cash is untraceable. The necklace is gone. It was nice on a long chain. A police report was filed. As far as the damaged furniture goes we only purchased their min insurance because that is what we were told most people do for such a short move. It paid 0.6/lb. We have only moved 3 times in our life. The last move was from Virginia to Florida. Everything arrived safely and nothing was missing in that move. Who would have thought that to move 7 miles we needed more insurance? We read the reviews on Angies list and google. We ignored the bad reviews because they were few. Our review will also be one of the few but it is true. Do not ignore it. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unorganized moving company. My advice to whoever decides to use this company is go for the maximum insurance. Pay attention to those bad reviews. Keep a close watch. They also got my husband to pay additional moving expenses because of how long it took them to pack. I didn't know they did this until recently. If they sent another packer like they said they would it may not have taken as long. The supervisor was not one of the regular packing people. My husband has memory issues because of a heart condition. That is the reason I decided to down size and move to a smaller house. I wanted to make life more manageable for us both. There is one very strange guy. Towards the end of the night he came in complaining of mosquitos biting him. He starting ripping open one of my bins because he saw a tube of cream. He said "I need that cream for the mosquito bites.". He was desperate. Very strange guy. When I cried about the china cabinet and said that was an antique. He said with a big smile "We have lots of antiques because of the work we do." No apology. No affect. no concern. Here we are almost 9 months later. We have finally unpacked it all. We are still missing the necklace and the cash. I had to throw the china cabinet out. Repair estimates were well over $1,000.00. We got back a little over $200.00 from the insurance claim. Worse experience ever!!!”

All was going really well until Mike said they could move our hot tub. The movers were totally unprepared and not experienced moving a hot tub. They scratched it all up on the way moving it out...which they did have repaired. It went into storage with them and when they moved it to the new location. these delivery guys were just as unprepared to deliver it. Both teams almost dropped it and it was no surprise that it didn't work when it was here. Tried calling Mike to discuss but never got the courtesy of a call back. All I wanted was for him to refund the cost of moving just the hot tub.”

We went on Angie's List and did lots of research to find a good and dependable moving company. We chose this one and immensely regret it. Our move was during the week and only several miles from Boynton to Lake Worth. We paid quite a bit for just the move, since we packed ourselves, and the service was dreadful!!! They marked up walls in old and new house, the lead mover insulted and criticized us, our boxes we just dumped in rooms at new house scattered all over each room, and many items not packed because they were larger, were just thrown on the floor in garage. Never had such a bad and horrible moving experience! To this day, we continue to find items and furniture damaged. Very careless, sloppy, rude staff. Only good person was the owner, who attempted to re-arrange boxes, but didn't make up for grief and damaged furniture. DI NOT USE THEM!!!!!!”
