Los Angeles Transfer and Storage Reviews

★★★★★
I recently made a cross country move with LATS for work. David was very communicative and went out of his way to ensure that things went as smoothly as possible. The Los Angeles moving team was great and did an incredible job packing my things. Having said that, the driver that delivered my things at the end of the move was rude and aggressive. Ami (the driver) gave me the wrong delivery date (incurring an additional storage fee) and then threatened to drive off with my belongings if I did not pay him the additional fees he demanded, in cash. David refunded me all of the additional fees because they were not outlined in my contract. This would have easily been a 5-star move - I took off two stars because Ami truly made this particular move a very hard one for me, and I move a lot.

Despite a bit of hesitation due to price--I was assured that the service would be to a high standard, effective and timely. I moved from LA--NYC and given a move of this nature, hiccups are bound to be encountered. However, Dave and co addressed these problems in a fair and friendly manner, going above and beyond to offer solutions that were satisfactory. Highly recommend.

I want to start off by thanking David and Mike (and mikes partner) for their awesome service! And taking great care of my mothers moving needs. David told my mother and I, step by step what was going to happen and in what time frame my mother belongings were going to arrive. There was no need for me or my mother to follow up, even before we thought about calling to check the status, we would get an email. Mike and his partner did an amazing job delivering the items. Even though they did call my mother a day before they arrived, they still waited for my mother over an hour because she decided to go grocery shopping. We were expecting a fee or something, but the guys didn't show a sign of annoyance or bother. VERY polite and helpful. I was personally worried about my mothers items, they are very fragile and hold a very high personal value. All the items were in perfect condition, and to be honest, they were cleaner than when they left. My family couldn't be happier, this company is by far the best value for the money, and their reliability is second to none! I would recommend this company to everyone I know that needs a professional, reliable moving company. GREAT SERVICE GREAT PRICES GREAT OUTCOME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Customer for life!!! These are the best movers I've dealt wit horrible moving companies in the past :((( This is the only company my friends/family/ will use.. They helped me tremendously I requested a same day mission that was completed as I had asked. All my belongings were the same condition I left them in before pick up was done. I recommend everyone to use this company they're A+++++ I've never been happy to move now its a easy thing dealing with these people.. Thanks!!

We hired LA Transfer and Storage to move us from LA to Rochester, NY. I read all the reviews online and was impressed by their overwhelmingly positive reviews. I feel that we should share our experience to help warn others not to use LA Transfer and Storage. We worked with David and at first all seemed great but it ended up being a disaster. Our shipment arrived 31 business days LATE! The worst part of it all was not having to live without our belongings and furniture for months but the TERRIBLE customer service. I was lied to, ignored, and insulted when I called to find out where our stuff was and when it should arrive. I have tried to make a claim, reported the to the Better Business Bureau all to no avail. They offered us $234.00 for all of our damaged items and no money at all for the late days that were stipulated in the contract. I hope that others read this and don't use them!

★★★★★
David was great to work with and was very on top of me moving out of my place in LA! The reason I'm dropping a star is because the truck driver on the Denver side was uncommunicative and pushed back my day/ time twice, despite calling me and telling me he would be there. If you have to push it back its fine, just give me a heads up so I know what I'm getting myself into and can plan my day, canceling the hour you're supposed to be there is really unprofessional. Lastly make sure you remove ALL legs from furniture. I had a few damages (fixed with gorilla glue) because I didn't/ they didn't remove removable legs.

I had a great experience with this company when I recently moved from LA to Texas. David, the manager, worked with my student budget to give me a great discount on the moving price as well as the price for a guaranteed move date. He is very responsive and always replied to my texts and phone calls. He also responded to my request for a quote almost immediately and was very flexible with times to come by and check out the apartment. He delivers all the supplies you need for packing as well so you never have to go anywhere to get the move done. The moving process was quick and painless and David was there every step of the way. The movers came to the apartment close to the beginning of their predicted time window and were done within the hour. The movers will help you with all of your clothes as well as packing up your furniture for you and taking care of your larger pictures; so the packing process was easy and convenient. All of my items arrived in Texas a timely manner (less than a week) with no damage. The movers were even kind enough to take boxes up and down a flight of stairs in the home for me. All of the boxes are marked and David makes sure that you know exactly how many boxes and extra items are loaded on the truck and you are given a receipt of everything before the truck leaves your place. Then, upon arrival, you can check everything before signing off on the move. Everything was documented and labelled really well so the verification process was easy. I would definitely recommend this company to students or young professionals who want a quick and affordable move!

They delivered in 1.5month, instead of 10 days as promised. The person I signed with promised me discounts due to late delivery, but wouldn't give me any until I would write a good review. That's the reason I am changing my review to a real one now. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, he didn't pick up the phone. A really bad experience. On the upside, the guy who made the actual delivery, was professional and fast, once he god the go from the person I booked with.

This week I helped my best friend make a move from HB to Irvine. Her sister had a baby so she flew out to Texas and I took over the move for her. I was terrified she has tons of old gorgeous china. The customer service I received was fairly good. I had a hard time getting a hold of them during the hours I was available at work. Regardless of that I had no further problems. They truly took care of the move for me! They were able to assist us with all the hard scheduling since the new place only allows moving trucks until 3pm. I was scared about not being able to complete the move as I do not have any more days I could take off. David helped us for the actual move and I could not be happier with the kindness and service he provided.

David is the man! We needed our car shipped from LA to Dallas. David gave us an awesome deal and would answer the call for any questions we had. We had no issues during the entire process. The driver also contacted us frequently to send us updates. They're a great choice to consider when moving. I would recommend getting the free in home quote if you're moving since they will get you a guaranteed rate.

★☆☆☆☆
This company is one of the WORST companies that I've EVER dealt with and I am an avid global consumer. If I could give them negative stars, I would for their: 1) fraudulent misrepresentation, 2) horrendous customer service, 3) inability to perform the service they promised, 4) several weeks delay, 5) holding our possessions hostage, 5) damaging our possessions, 6) understaffing the delivery, 7) walking off the job, and 8) unwillingness to accept accountability for their dereliction of duty to us as customers. National, cross-country move. On 3/29/2016, we hired Los Angeles Transfer and Storage ("LATS") to perform a move from Irvine, CA to Charlotte, NC because of their affiliation with Movinginsurance.com. David provided a quote for $6795 to move apptox 2400 sq ft of fragile, heavy, mirrored furniture, a piano and 80+ boxes. I gave David a delivery date of 4/23/2016. UNLICENSED AT PICK-UP. LATS' DOT license was revoked from 3/21/2016 - 4/22/2016. They picked up our possessions on 3/30/2016 and promised delivery to Charlotte, NC by 4/23/2016. FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION. Protectyourmove.gov said that LATS' license had been revoked. I asked David about LATS' DOT license status and David assured me that the website needed to be updated (I believed him because Movinginsurance.com indicated that they consistently monitor their affiliates). By telling me that LATS was licensed when David knew that they weren't in order to coerce me to enter into a contract with LATS to perform the move, and I relied on the veracity of David's statement, it voided the contract by law (I am an attorney). PRICE INCREASE. On 3/30/2016, they raised the price by approximately $1000 at pickup, increasing the total to $7848. Otherwise, the pickup was smooth. They had a team of about 7-8 men who worked 8 hours (they arrived at 11 am and left at 7 pm) to pack and load. INABILITY TO PERFORM SERVICE. On 4/19/2016, we contacted David to determine the status of the delivery. David informed us that delivery on 4/23/2016 was not possible (because LATS' DOT license was revoked until 4/22/2016). Not only could they not deliver, but then they charged us $475 to meet them in the middle of the desert in a large open truck lot to obtain certain possessions that we needed (we needed them by 4/30/2016 and couldn't risk leaving CA without getting them first). Their website shows an indoor storage facility; we had no idea that our belongings were sitting exposed to the hot sun for several weeks while LATS could not perform the delivery. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were prepared to hire other movers to complete the move; however, David told us on a weekly basis that the truck was getting dispatched in order to stall us. He would tell us that he was checking with dispatch and then not bother to respond to our texts. SEVERAL WEEKS DELAY. Our belongings were not delivered until 5/11/2016, causing us to absorb flight change fees, costs associated with living in an empty apartment for 3 weeks (having to buy essentials like blankets, towels, an air mattress, etc), and misc expenses. HOLDING OUR POSSESSIONS HOSTAGE. The day before the scheduled delivery, we finally got a call that they were going to deliver the following morning at 8 am. We live in a 50-story high rise with one freight elevator that was reserved the following day until 7 pm. Our only option was to conduct the move starting at 7 pm. David informed us that we would not be charged any extra fees. However, when the delivery team arrived (they were subcontractors who held their own company name and DOT license), they tried to charge us extra. We had to call the police in order to get them to unload the truck. UNDERSTAFFING DELIVERY. To deliver a move that took 7-8 men to perform, they had a team of 2 men. WALKING OFF THE JOB. Due to the police debacle, the unloading didn't start until 8 pm. By 2 am, the refused to assemble my furniture and further, did not want to uncover specific furniture that was insured. They walked off the job and left trash, furniture in the wrong rooms, furniture not even standing properly, and unassembled furniture. I had to hire a local team of movers the next day to complete the job. DAMAGED FURNITURE. They caused more than $5,000 worth of damage to our furniture. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. On the night of the move, David told me to stop texting him. Therefore, I have only provided formal written complaints to LATS. No one has tried to reach out to me make resolution. In total, we paid LATS $8,323. We filed a credit card dispute, are reporting them to the FMCSA, the Attorney General, they lost their Movinginsurance.com affiliation, and we will sue them either directly or through arbitration. THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM. The positive reviewers of presumedly national moves still list their current city in LA. LATS uses branded boxes when they pack; yet positive review pictures show unbranded boxes.

I used LA Transfer and Storage for my most recent move from and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The entire process was painless and they made moving a lot easier than it's ever been. They were kind, courteous and made sure that I was updated every step along the way. I had some special requests as far as packing and specifics and they acquiesced to every request. Every single person that I came in contact with made it their aim for me to have the best possible service with their lovely company. The morning they arrived I was still getting some things done around the house and they even offered to help out to take some of the stress off my roommate and I. She told me after the movers left that her things had never been handled with such care. I would recommend them to everyone.

This company did a fantastic job moving all my belongings from Oregon to LA. I am very pleased. Their customer service was great and how efficient and careful they were moving everything was wonderful. A lot of moving companies don't care about your belongings and most of the time something ends up broken, scrapped, or dinged. Everything came to LA as they were, nothing broken or dinged! They set up everything in my guest bedroom perfectly. The bed was right where I wanted it and I was able to put sheets on it right away to feel a little more settled in. The cost is reasonable for a moving company. Again, great company 5 stars will use them again if I ever have to do a big move.

Absolutely DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS!! In the beginning they will seem friendly and helpful but it is all fraudulent. I spoke with a guy named Jeff. He was extremely nice, he answered the phone promptly at anytime of the day. He quoted us $2500 to move from Washington to Texas. Once they picked up our stuff and took that initial payment, that price went out the window along with communication. I received a phone call from a lady named Rachel asking for a mid payment of $5,000. We had already given them $1000. She said that our move would be $11000 now. I explained to her that the price was far more than what I was quoted and I would call Jeff before paying her. Jeff did not return my phone call for 3 days. And when he did, he was no longer pleasant. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by reducing the price to $7,000 now and claimed that the price changed after they weighed the truck. I was and still am highly upset but they already have our stuff. They picked our furniture up on DECEMBER 18, 2019. Please see the date of this review. January 23, 2020 and we still do not have our things. We have been calling every number that has contacted us since this process started and we can not get in touch with anyone. I've left Jeff several messages and he has not responded still. At this point, I'm not even sure if we're actually going to get our things. Smh

I did moving from Seattle to Texas with this company. At first I went over them with a list of contents of the house on the phone and then I got a quote. They came to my house and helped me pack what I didn't have time to do and they did it quickly. 7-8 days later I got my stuff in Houston, everything was in the same condition as I packed it and no damage. I had 5-6 more boxes than I stated and yet they charged me exactly the amount I got from them at a quote which incidentally was the best price on the market. In conclusion I am very pleased with this company and their nice staff! warmly recommended!

"LOST" ALMOST 10% OF MY BELONGINGS!!! FYI - IN ORDER TO GET A SETTLEMENT FROM THEM THEY WANT YOU TO REMOVE YOUR 1-STAR REVIEWS!!! I would not recommend this company to any person who values their property. This was our first big move from California to Texas. We wanted to hire a company instead of having to move everything ourselves...BIG MISTAKE!!!!! My family lost almost 10% of the possessions we asked this company to move. The items have vanished into thin air. They are not in their California location and they have not been delivered to anyone else on the same truck as me, since the company claims that they did call and confirm with those other clients (I still cannot get a date that they made these calls). You would be better off spending the extra money to get a POD to ensure that all of your belongings actually arrive. The "FREE MOVING INSURANCE" that they supply with the move is mandated by federal law. Don't let the word "Free" fool you into thinking that this company actually cares about you or your things. If you do use this company, I would advise paying the extra money so that they actually have to pay you what your items are worth because based on my experience your items will not arrive in one piece if they do arrive at all. The employees that they have moving your items are more than likely contracted out. The trucker who moved our possessions stated that he could not get his truck around a round-a-bout and my husband & I had to rent a U Haul for him to meet us at a Wal-Mart parking lot for him to unload our items onto the U Haul, from there my husband, myself and our 2 young children had to move our belongings into our new home. They took apart furniture and did not put them back together. I have the legs to an antique phone chair that are missing...how the legs to the a phone chair vanished when they were attached to the chair is beyond my comprehension. Additionally, they will charge you more when they get to your house and load your items. I'm not the only person with a review who had them charge me well over what the initial quote was. I would recommend viewing the reviews on their profiles. The My Moving Reviews account that they have was suspended for violating the terms of its agreement. I wonder how many of the 5-star reviews are actually true. IN MY OPINION, YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF USING A POD OR GOING WITH A DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY.

I've read some really long and very scary reviews about Los Angeles Transfer & storage. I didn't hire them. Purple Heart Moving Group in S. Florida contracted them. One shining positive: We seem to have everything. Second maybe: only one item damaged, an almost 150 year old engraving in a frame just as old was unpacked to find cracked glass. It was so well padded, a truck could have run this thing over. However, the engraving itself was not damaged, so we consider ourselves quite lucky in that regard. However, why score them a one? I'd give less if I could, as I think the scoring, one - five, results in inaccuracies. A five is of course spectacular. You did what was expected and then some. A three, I would think, would be average results. A one would seem to indicate the job was completed poorly. So, and this may be a one off: but I would give this experience a negative five. Not only did they not complete the job, the experience was also monumentally painful, scary and pathetic. 1) Pick up was 2750 miles away on Friday May 22nd. We relayed we could take the delivery Saturday, May 30th. We took possession of the apartment then, to learn almost two weeks later our furniture and life-long possessions were still back in Southern California in a warehouse. 2) We were told, one evening by another LA Transfer & Storage employee, around two weeks after our furniture was picked up, that there was a 99% chance that our things would be on the truck leaving (LA) "tonight" -- which was two weeks ago. Then thereafter learning the following day, our stuff still sat collecting dust in a warehouse, getting anyone to answer our calls was impossible, or getting messages returned, or calls. No one at LA Transfer & Storage had the integrity to reach out. At one point, seeing my number calling, someone just dismissed it as there was something more important in the world of customer service I'm thinking than dealing with me. I truly felt that something had occurred delaying the delivery, and LA Transfer & Storage had simply thrown in the towel on this delivery, or line of deliveries, as obviously the load would make money for them after this period of time. There were plenty of bookings I'm sure. At this point, expeditiously getting the belongings to the customer was not top priority. 3) Over a month later, our furniture had finally made it to South Florida. We had been living in Hotels a week, and then in the empty apartment on an air mattress three weeks of the four. a) The driver was not aware of the requirement to reduce our items to a smaller truck, as semi trailers were not allowed here. This had to be accomplished once arriving in South Florida. b) LA Transfer & Storage hired the "Professional" movers from Craigslist. These "Professional movers" the morning the delivery was to be made, did not show, making the delivery 2 1/2 hours late, as he had to wait for other "Professional movers." c) Company policy requires you pay the remaining balance due, in Cash or a Postal Money Order, before they will even take a stick of furniture from the truck. With a VERY poor service after the Sale reputation, this bodes very poorly. d) Of the "Professional Movers" LA Transfer & Storage acquired via Craigslist, one was in fact someone who had moved furniture before. He and I BOTH worked VERY, very hard moving the furniture I paid LA Transfer & Storage and Purple Heart moving group good money for. Yes, due to the time constraints of being 2 1/2 hours late, and needing to make two loads, I carried and lifted to the front door, so the wife would only see him carrying. The other "Professional Mover" was the fellow's girlfriend, who was not very capable of helping as she was suspiciously coughing and obviously suffering an illness. e) The Driver told us a number of times he was "Just the driver," and did not help much, and when he did, I seriously thought he was going to die. f) The driver (Brand-new mind you) had rented from UHaul, a fifteen foot truck - 15 ft in total - meaning all of our belongings (from a two bedroom apartment) could not be brought over in a single trip. First trip, they arrived half full. We had the loading dock until noon. I petitioned the building to let me keep the dock and elevator until 3pm. Thank God it wasn't already reserved by someone else. g) Five items in the first load from the larger truck to the smaller were not ours. I had a difficult time recognizing them, as it had been over a month since I had seen our things. This was alarming, as my wife and I then thought our belongings could be spread across the Country. h) 2nd trip, I joined them at the UHaul to ensure these items were back in place with their original owners, and we retrieved all of ours (truck was in disarray). i) Lastly, Mover supposedly was not aware he was to re-assemble furniture taken apart (as contracted), and had no tools. Once locating mine, I spent a day and a half reassembling after moving my own furniture.

I had them moving my house in studio city and I have to tell that it's was over my expectations, the service was great from beginning to end. They packed all our stuff (3 bedroom) in few hours , were very fast and put everything in their truck with no problems. Then they unload and move all furniture personal belongings to my storage and finish the same day. Price was fair and I would definitely will use their service in my next move.

Aaron you're the best! I called Aaron more than my divorce attorney. He took the time to answer all my questions in a very calm, professional manner. I wish I had your patience. The in house quote was close to accurate. Loading was quick. Delivery took six days. Not bad for a California to Georgia trip. Although there are some things out of us control, he hit the mark on getting the right crew. Thank you Los Angeles Transfer and Storage. My name is Gary and I approve this message.

Overall, the value is pretty hard to beat. I did a move from LA to Seattle. David came right away to inspect and give me a quote. He provided all the boxes and packing supplies. He was very quick in his responses. The LA movers were great. They came in, wrapped all my paintings and everything else very professionally. Quick and efficient. I stored my stuff for about 6 weeks until I found my apartment. I was quoted 4-8 days for my stuff to arrive and unfortunately it was closer to 3 weeks, so I had to sleep on an air mattress for several weeks. My stuff came and there was some initial disagreement about the final price. Because I was on the 2nd story and more than 75 feet away from the curb, they were charging me $150 more. To be fair, it was written in the contract. Would have been nice if David or someone else explicitly called this out in the initial quote, because it caught me unexpectedly. David ended up reducing this to $75. All my stuff arrived in good shape except my dresser had a little damage. But David was able to quickly reimburse me for that and followed through until the end. So overall, some hiccups, but again, the value is unbeatable. Their price was much lower than other movers and I really appreciated working with David.

I had received a job offer in Maui and had to plan a move in a very short time span from Los Angeles. Not only was it a short time span it was during the Christmas and New Years holiday season. David was very professional and came to view my apartment and furniture on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely amazing and 6 days later him and his team arrived on New Years Eve to pick up everything. They wrapped everything and made moving look easy. I highly recommend them as David has been nothing short of amazing.

This was the worst move ever. They sent packers one with ankle monitor for a gun charge who asked if i would get him a pistol the other who could not write on the boxes. I provided a detail list of items from united moving was quoted 9900 for 2100 cu feet and when they had the truck half loaded said it was 2500 cu feet and 1500 dollars more. now we are over 11500 dollars i felt highjacked and bullied but paid s i had to be out of my house the next day. Fast forward stuff arrives late thrown in truck like a 5 year old packed stuff damaged i have pictures and guess what it was only 1800 cu feet. The driver says cash before i can even see but i have pictures. Never use this company they are not honest and my stuff is missing and scratched and smashed.

Like many others, I don't know where to begin. Short story SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR STUFF AND YOUR MONEY AND DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I promise you, this is some of the best advice you will ever receive. Summary of why not: 1. The quote they give you on the phone to lure you in and the price you get after they load your stuff is way different. Mine was almost four times as much as they said on the phone it would be, with no choice but to sign and agree as all my stuff was on their truck. They now had me hostage, by having everything I owned and they know it. 2. They arrived at my house 4 hours late, and were loading till almost midnight. Yelling, banging, laughing etc in the street on a work/school night. 3. When they did finally arrive, they had none of the promised protective padding or anything. They promised me when they got to the warehouse they would wrap my stuff. They didn't. There is virtually not one piece of furniture that I have which is not gouged, scratched, and otherwise nearly ruined visually. My leather couch has holes in it. Two TVs are broken. Printer is broken. 4. Boxes arrived mostly crushed. Not one was shaped like a box anymore or didn't have holes in them. Not to mention, they lost several boxes. I generally give my used moving boxes away for free so they get reused but only like maybe three out of around 150-200 boxes could be salvaged. 5. The communication was poor about when my stuff would arrive. It was about 2+ weeks to get my stuff a 6 hour drive from CO to SD. This was after promising 3-10 days I think and telling me its usually about 5. 6. With all my damaged and missing stuff, they offered me like $80. Hahaha! After some talking, the lady negotiated about $300 for me which took another month and a half to arrive. These good reviews, I honestly think that of course, some got lucky and they had a good experience, but be aware they also offered me Visa gift cards to leave a good review. I forgot to mention in my original review that LA Transfer & Storage basically is a middle man. They hire other local movers to pick up and potentially deliver your stuff. That leads to fun blame games at the end where they blame this company and that company blames the other company and so on. Basically, you're not even hiring LA Transfer & Storage, you're being saddled with whatever company they have worked out some rock bottom price with to move your stuff for them.

They picked our furniture up. Please see the date of this review. January 23, 2020 and we still do not have our things. We have been calling every number that has contacted us since this process started and we can not get in touch with anyone. I've left Jeff several messages and he has not responded still. At this point, I'm not even sure if we're actually going to get our things. Smh

One positive: We seem to have everything. Second: but one item damaged, an engraving in a frame was unpacked to find cracked glass. However, the engraving itself was not damaged, so we consider ourselves quite lucky in that regard. I'd give less than a one if I could, as I think the scoring 1-5, results in inaccuracies. A 5 is of course spectacular; a 3, I would think, would be average; a 1 would seem to indicate the job was completed but badly. I would give this experience a negative five. Not only did they not complete the job, the experience was also monumentally painful. 1) Pick up was 2750 miles away on Friday May 22nd. We could take the delivery Saturday, May 30th. We took possession of the apartment, to learn almost two weeks later our furniture was still back in SoCal in a warehouse. 2) We were told, around two weeks in, that there was a 99% chance that our things would be on the truck leaving (LA) "tonight." On the following day, it still sat collecting dust. Getting anyone to answer our calls was impossible, or getting messages returned. No one had the integrity to reach out -- silence. At one point, seeing my number, someone just dismissed it as there was something more important in the world of customer service than dealing with me. I truly felt that something had occurred delaying the delivery, and LA Transfer & Storage had simply thrown in the towel on this delivery, or line of deliveries, as obviously the load would make money for them after this period of time. There were plenty of bookings I'm sure. At this point however, expeditiously getting the belongings to the customer did not seem top priority. With a not so great service after the Sale reputation. d) Of the "Professional Movers" LA Transfer & Storage acquired via Craigslist, one was in fact someone who had moved furniture before. He and I BOTH worked VERY, very hard moving the furniture I paid LA Transfer & Storage and Purple Heart Moving Group to do for us. Yes, due to the time constraints of being 2 1/2 hours late, and needing to make two loads, I carried and lifted to the front door, so the wife would only see him carrying. The other "Professional Mover" was the fellow's girlfriend, who was not very capable of helping as she was suspiciously coughing and obviously suffering an illness. e) And... the Driver told us a number of times he was "Just the driver," and did not help much, and when he did, I seriously thought he was going to die. f) The driver (brand-new mind you) had rented a fifteen foot truck - meaning all of our belongings (from a two bedroom apartment) could not be brought over in a single trip. First trip, they arrived half full. We had the loading dock until noon. I extended the reservation to 3pm. g) Five items in the first load were not ours. ...hard to recognize this, as it had been over a month since I had seen our things. My wife and I then thought our belongings could be spread across the Country. h) 2nd trip, I joined them to ensure these items were back in place with their original owners... retrieved all of ours (truck was in disarray). i) Mover supposedly was not aware he was to re-assemble furniture taken apart (as contracted), and had no tools. Once locating mine, I spent a day and a half reassembling after moving my own furniture.

I chose Los Angeles Transfer and Storage because they mostly had the best ratings online out of everyone I was speaking to. The gentleman who was speaking to me on the phone did not sell me any harder than the next guy, but I wanted a reliable company to move me so I would not be worried the whole time. That was mostly what I got with Los Angeles Transfer. They listened to my needs and was able to meet me with them. I did not like that I had to wait on hold for so long when I called in, I suppose that is easy to look past since the rest of the move went well. I appreciate the effort that they put in for my move.

Los Angeles moving and storage made my move to Texas come true. They treated me with respect from the very beginning and also invested an extra effort to pack my fragile glassware properly. The delivery was on time, which was very important for me as I needed to settle into a new home as soon as possible. They did everything as promised so I have nothing to complain about as far as their professionalism and general behavior is concerned. I will be more than happy to refer them to all my friends and relatives. Hopefully other people will have a positive experience with them as well.

Los Angeles moving and storage company popped up while I was researching top rated moving companies that would help me move to New York City. Although their pricing was far from affordable I decided to give them a shot hoping for a high quality service. Given the complexity of the move I expected various types of issues down the road. Much to my surprise, they were able to handle every single issue as it appeared and to proceed normally with the process. Thanks to Los Angeles moving and storage I had the most amazing moving experience that turned out better than expected.

★★★★★
Los Angeles moving and storage movers were very courteous and accommodating from the first time we got in touch. Working and communicating with them was a real pleasure. Although I was moving during the peak season, they wanted to keep me as a customer offering some additional services free of charge. So, I got free packing paper, boxes and tape. All the people from the company we have interacted with did a fantastic job. Considering the level of professionalism and commitment they showed throughout the process at this point I have no complaints whatsoever. My items traveled safely and reached my new place intact.

I chose to move with Los Angeles transfer and storage again because my family had a great experience a while ago. The first time we had to move our items to storage and these amazing guys were a major help. This time around we were moving to a bigger house and we needed to move our belongings from the storage unit and our condo. The movers were very friendly and easy going, yet so professional, quick and efficient. Overall we had a great experience during both moves and we are looking forward to contacting these guys again if we have to move house.
