I have to share this experience with everyone on here. I have a surfboard that I left behind in LA and moved to Atlanta. I have been wanting to have that board transported here to Atlanta from LA for a long time and I have been shopping on line for carrier that can do that. The board is at my sister in LA. I found "Less Stress Delivery" company on line and I just called them. Robert (the amazing Robert " answered and the story started there. All I needed them was to come pick up the board and carry it to Amtrak station in LA. Robert rescheduled other clients and made it his priority to go and pack up and take it to Union station. Not only he got there early and packed it very very nice. But also after he took it to Union station, they told him that they can't ship it. At that time Robert and his company did their work and had no other obligation to do anything else. But , Robert took the board back to his truck and made sure it's safe and rearranged his schedule to bring it back to my sister's home. He also went and bought boxes and brought the board back and started packing it an made it available in case I found another shipping carrier. The whole time Robert took pic, and been in contact with me to make sure I know what's happening at all times. He went ABOVE & BEYOND the duty and what was suppose to be the responsibility of his company. All I can say is " UNBELIEVABLE AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE ". Thank you Robert. We had a last minute move when another apartment became available sooner than expected. I sent Less Stress a text at like 10pm on a Saturday night requesting moving help the very next day. I actually sent a text to several moving companies because I knew getting help would be difficult, Less Stress Moving is the only company that responded right away. I got a text back immediately from the owner. To my surprise he was able to get a moving crew of three guys to meet me at noon the next day. The three guys showed up ready to work right on time. I only had them for 2 hours and we had several heavy items to be moved to the new apartment, they worked very hard and got everything done in just a little over 2 hours! We weren't over charged like some moving companies do. The owner let me know exactly how much it would be if we went over 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour. There were no surprises. Awesome moving company, I highly recommend them! Perfect name by the way, "Less Stress Moving" is exactly what they provided! All three guys were great, especially Oscar! These guys deserve 10 stars. This is how its done kids. I was at Target where I purchased a dining table. (Floor model) I thought it would fit in my Nissan Cube. Nope. I was literally stuck in the parking lot with no one to call and Target's policy is once you buy a floor model your'e on your own. Lesson learned. I would totally give 5 stars to this company if they handled themselves properly. Scheduled a move, needed big furniture items delivered from one end of West Hollywood to another a couple of miles away. Also needed to pick up a bed frame from a third location. The movers were INCREDIBLE. They moved quickly and efficiently. They wrapped all of my furniture properly, and I was comfortable having them in my home. They were so great I tipped the movers 75% of the cost of the move. I liked them so much after this first experience, I called them a couple weeks later to deliver a couch to my new place and to remove a box spring. I was a little annoyed that I texted them requesting an ETA but received no response until they were already at the location. (They also charged me for that half hour they sat there waiting.) They delivered the couch nicely, but it took longer than expected so I had to leave for a meeting. I reminded them to not forget the box spring and they did. I called that evening and Robert told me they totally forgot and would grab it over the weekend (they moved my couch on a Friday). Weekend comes around, no word from them. I called again and Robert says he hasn't forgotten about me and that he was working on a big move in Laurel Canyon. He tells me he will remove my box spring right afterwards. Monday morning, box spring is still sitting outside in my side yard. I leave a voicemail, no one returns my call. I call again Tuesday. Robert calls me back a couple of calls later. I explained my frustration as I had someone else moving to the house and could not have a box spring just sitting on the side of my house. He say he's on it. Lo and behold, I get home Tuesday night and it is still there. Untouched. Robert doesn't bother to call or follow up with me. Haven't heard from him since. Ended up having to hire another company to pick up my box spring so I ended up spending more money than I would have had I hired a company that delivered on services promised. Five stars for initial service. Five stars for affordability. One star for completion of paid task. One star for follow-up. Zero stars for delivering services I paid for.”

I received a medical diagnosis a few days before our move and I was freaking out about having to move without fully prepping the move or being able to do much the last few days. I never hire movers. Let me repeat, I never hire movers. I've moved a few times and I usually do it myself with the help of friends and family. Most of my family and friends are more than 2,000 miles away, so I decided I needed to hire movers. I was indecisive on the day and time but finally, on a Saturday, late morning or early afternoon I sent a text asking about a move the next day (yep, on a Sunday). They responded quickly and gave me a quote; said they could in fact move me the next day from South LA to Long Beach. I was able to do everything via text to schedule for the next day. BONUS: this is the only place that said they didn't need to disassemble some of my larger items, which was something I really wanted! They called me the day of and asked if they could come earlier as they had finished early and of course, I agreed. I had 3 awesome men come and explain everything thoroughly as well as answered all of my questions. They introduced themselves, moved my items quickly and efficiently (plus they were funny and friendly, but also still professional)! Only took then about 2 hours and I was able to have my friend at my new place waiting for them instead of having to go myself. I paid via phone-so convenient and flexible! On behalf of Whittier College, we hired Rob and his men to do a few large furniture projects for the Residence Halls. We had them move over 200 sets of furniture from a 2 story residence hall (wood block desks, dressers, chairs, and bed frames) from one area of the campus to another. These pieces of furniture are very heavy and took almost 1 week to complete. We donated the furniture to Non-profit organizations and had Rob and his men remove and discard the rest. Needless to say, these men worked extremely hard in the middle of the summer and we were satisfied and impressed with their hard work and work ethic. Even with a minor miscommunication before the move, they honored the price they originally quoted me. The day of the move they were on time and very courteous.
