Overall was sloppy and poor service and would not use again or recommend them The team was quoted as a 3 person team and on the day of one member called out due to an injury. They were able to find a sub quickly but it was clear this person was either working overtime and tired or not as experienced as the others. My move was from Ballard to Issaquah and was a 3 bedroom house, so took about 8 hours which is what they quoted. The move was going ok until they started to unload the boxes and furniture. I was balancing a young baby while my husband was asking them to review the labels on the boxes to place them in the correct room. The mover who was the sub ended up stacking the boxes in the kitchen that had the top box for the kitchen, while all other boxes underneath were for our bedrooms upstairs. I tipped 30% because it was a big move and long day, but really regret it after realizing the boxes were moved to the proper rooms as asked and indicated by the service contract. To top it all off, my 55" tv was broken in the move. The company took three weeks to respond to my claim and only offered me 150 dollars, based on the weight of the TV. Truly disappointing, I don't understand how they got so many five star reviews Update: after talking to the company again they offered 550 dollars for the full price of the television and apologized for the run around. Modified the rating to reflect this follow up.”

From the beginning, Val's (owner) customer service was great - he answered all our questions, provided lots of information, and responded quickly. Our movers, L and Alex, were wonderful: communicative, professional, and efficient. They just came from a long difficult move in the morning and then moved our stuff for hours with no complaints. Even though they must've been tired - they our stuff moved quickly but also with care. They still took the time to hang up our wardrobe items, asked us exactly where we wanted furniture placed and what rooms each box went into. We had to move last month and we've been burned in the past by bad movers. Ones that have been non communicative, late or rude. I did a ton of research for our latest move, and Keep Moving kept checking all our boxes - good reviews, decent price, and when we asked for info they got back to us quicker than most other places. After setting up the move (and answering my like 10 questions before that), they had my first date choice available with a deposit. The day before my moving date, they actually called to offer me an earlier time frame, which I was pretty shocked to hear. We happily took it and they came about 15 minutes past the initial time frame they advertised. I didn't really mind since they did call to give me that updated time frame. Once they came in and looked around, the 3 man team worked pretty fast - like 1.5 hours to pack up an urban 1 bedroom, and they were right behind us to our new place. About 1.5 to unload as well. Between the timeliness of the crew, professionalism, everyone wore masks and was considerate of our belongings, plus they worked really fast - we were so happy. They do charge a moving fee from your place to their facility if you're outside a certain radius, so that alone bumped the final bill up higher than I would have loved, which is why I had to take off a star. Overall, take a close look at their fine print so you're 100% ready for that final bill, but the movers themselves are great and work fast. Def recommend!”

When the movers arrived (early!), it started raining and the driveway was uphill. Summary: Incredibly professional, great customer service, and best pricing for a cross-state move (WA to CA). I moved from Seattle to San Diego in September 2021. I moved out of a 1250 sqft townhome into a 1000 sqft apartment. I called around in August to get various quotes, and Keep Moving was both the best priced and had the most helpful and accommodating customer service. My primary contact was Alex, who was very friendly and answered my plethora of questions with a lot of patience. For doing the estimate, I video called with Alex and he took inventory as I walked through my home. It was a fairly quick process. To Keep Moving's credit, their estimate was on target (no additional fees). I got helpful advice about choosing what to move vs what to get rid of (basically, cheap bulky Ikea furniture is cheaper to get rid of and re-acquire instead of moving). On pickup day, a crew of three guys showed up in the morning. They did a very meticulous job and they were very friendly. There was one mishap - they caused a hole in the drywall - but once I sent pictures and informed Alex, he assured me that they would definitely cover the damages. No hassles there. The delivery took one week, which was on the low end of their estimate (5-10 business days). The contractors they enlisted to unload on the San Diego side were incredibly professional. Moving long distances is a scary endeavour. I'm grateful to Alex and his crew for making things go so smoothly. Highly recommended.”

The moving process is already very irritating and tough, but moving out of state a full two bedroom apartment can make this process a real nightmare. After moving a lot of times I've learned one very important lesson...You need to hire the right moving company! This step can save you money, time and keep your nerve for other stressful situations that may appear during the move. Like I said I've moved my two bedroom apartment from Seattle, WA to Pittsburgh, PA. A lot of miles and a lot of work was completed by the guys from Keep Moving and I have to say that I was really impressed by the quality job that was done. I'm going to attach couple pictures so everyone can see how professionally they've packed my belongings, I've honestly never seen anything like this. Also they somehow worked on the short notice that I gave them and they were able to move me in the time frame that I needed and that's just awesome, not every long distance moving company can do something like this. I have no idea why this company receives 5 star ratings. First of all, they arrived 3 hours late. The team of movers (2 males) and a truck were able to have my belongings moved, but throughout the move became slower and slower. From moving from my one apartment to 10 minutes away to my new location, total time was 7 hours. I've employed other moving companies in the past that had more efficiency, speed, and professionalism then these two movers had. 7 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment? Towards the end of the move I was actually getting very irritated with the way that they were moving so then I volunteer to help move my own stuff. Mind you these are a team of movers that I have employed in order to move my belongings so that I don't have to. But now they were moving so slowly that if I didn't help out I feared that they would be going into a longer time frame. When it came to check out I had one of the movers tell me, well you only helped for a half hour. I mean, I'm sorry, I hired you. I'm employing you right now. I shouldn't have to help at all. The total that I was originally quoted was $80 an hour if I am paying cash. They also forgot to mention that I would have to be paying an additional $80 in order to have them drive back. As I was paying with cash I only had $540 on me. Which I was not even expecting to use all of that money. I was apply to 5% discount for the late arrival, however it didn't do anything to ease the total cost. I would recommend another moving company that is more professional and is better equipped to handle the labor that these two gentlemen clearly did not have the capability of doing. I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding the service that I received; especially with the money that I paid for it. I will never ever employ this company again. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else when needing assistance to move your belongings.”

I wanted to pick a rating between 4 and 5, but I am comfortable giving them a 4. Ruslan and his crew were our movers. Promptly before arriving, he gave us a call 30mins before time. - PUNCTUAL When they arrived, they started loading immediately. They told me they're taking a 5min break, and they were good about keeping it to only 5mins. - PROFESSIONAL They had to dis-assemble one of our day beds to make sure it could move out of the room. At the destination, they started unloading at a good pace as well. When it came to the bed, they spent quite some time (30+mins) trying to put it back. It's a complicated ikea bed, and we knew it won't be easy. Despite us telling them to let it be, and we can do it later following the manual they kept on trying. So the one thing I would suggest: 1. Time box such assembly/disassembly. If it goes beyond a certain time, let owners know and let them make the call. After all we ended up paying for the extra time spent on bed assembly. (Which we ended up doing ourselves later) Other than that, we noted a small chip in one of the pieces of furniture, a small scratch on the wall while moving but nothing major really that cannot be fixed. I've seen way worse in previous moves. Overall it took a bit longer than I anticipated due to the extra time spent on the bed, but I think the experience was pretty good with the Keep Moving Crew !! Their price was also pretty competitive.”

They did an OK job moving our stuff. They dropped one end of our irreplaceable trestle table top on the ground, and left a big hole in our yard, and we were lucky the damage to the table was very minor, a few scratches on the corner that hit the ground. They forgot to re-attach the bottom door handle for our fridge, and must have taken the screws with them, so I had to go buy new ones and put the handle back on. The dryer vent pipe also was gone when we got to the new house, so I had to buy a new one of those as well. They did not put any kind of floor protector down when scooting the washer/dryers in an out, or the fridge in and out. The wood floor at the old house dents very easily, even from just rolling the fridge back and forth. The price was fair, and they were fairly accurate on the estimate.”

Three dudes packed up our 1,500 sq ft townhouse, moved across town, and unloaded all the boxes and furniture into a four-story home. I hired a crew from Keep Moving to move my portion of a 2-person household from Redmond to Sammamish today. Well, really, I hired them to move me last Wednesday, then Friday, then yesterday, then today. They let me reschedule repeatedly without penalties, fees, or attitude of any kind. Big bonus points right off the bat! Also adding to their awesomeness is that they don't charge extra for stairs so long as it's less than 3 flights. When the 3-man crew showed up, I was in no way ready to be moved. Heck, I wasn't ready to be *packed*. My state of living most generally resembles a crafty geeky slob caught up in a tornado. Utter disaster area. I had about 20% of my belongings packed, most of it low-hanging fruit. "Hey! Bookshelf! Box box box done!" But just tons of little things and empty boxes and empty soda cans and socks (really, where'd they all come from?) and knitting stuff and and and. They didn't blink. They just asked me what was ready to move and what would be moved. I asked them to move some items to the garage, so the other member of the household could keep or dispose of as desired. Not a problem. I pointed out dozens of things, one at a time, that could be put in the truck. Not a problem. When I knew I was winding down and we needed to start heading to Sammamish, they quickly moved things from surfaces / drawers into neat piles for me to deal with later (as per my instructions), and made sure to get all of the big items either into the garage or into the truck. They did this all with professionalism and good humor. If all of the crews at Keep Moving are like Ruslan, Sultan, and Dmitri, I have absolutely no reservations about hiring Keep Moving again for any sort of move. I couldn't be happier.”
