Excellent! From start to finish, this company did a great job. My landlord made an error so I had to find a new moving company at the last minute, as the one I had booked couldn't accommodate the new move date. This was just after surgery in the hospital so it was even more stressful. I called Kangaroo, and they had availability for less than 48 hours away. I spoke to someone who was polite and pleasant to make the reservation. I was emailed an invoice a few hours later to pay $120 in advance for booking and fuel. The next day, I got a text reminding me of the move details and a friendly reminder to pay the invoice if I hadn't already. The day of the move, Juan called me to let me know they were leaving the yard and would arrive in 45 minutes. The crew arrived on time, and he called again to let me know. They were 5 minutes earlier than the start of the 3 hour arrival time. The 3 man crew worked well and finished moving a 2 bedroom apartment in just under 3 hours. I moved in the same complex. They didn't need the truck. The other men were polite and worked hard like Juan. They assembled/dissembled furniture, wrapping it in pads and plastic wrap to protect it. One gentleman didn't speak English well, but we were able to communicate on where to place items. The fees were reasonable. Old place had 3 flights of stairs. The first 15 stairs are free, then it's $2 a stair. They give a discount if you pay in cash. I was shown the final invoice and the cost was broken down for me by Juan. The company called me 2 days after the move to make sure everything went well. My only complaint was 1 guy didn't wear a mask most of the time. The rep that called me appreciated me letting him know. I would refer this company and use them again in the future. Thank you for making this the easiest move I've ever had, especially at such a stressful time in my life.”

Moving day was a very stressful day for our family. We booked the afternoon moving timeslot to give us plenty of time in the morning to finish last minute packing before moving completely out of our house- with two kids, 1 and 3 (so a LOT going on while trying to pack final things). It was a little more complex because we had two pick up locations (our home and a storage unit) and then we were using Kangaroo for storage services as well. The person I was emailing with was very professional and helpful, sending me all the details of our move (the items I told her we needed to store), the price and any fees, and the pick-up locations listed in order. We also were required to book 4 man crew because we had an upright piano, which was all noted on our invoice. Our arrival window was between 2-5 pm - and my husband waited at our house for the arrival but hadn't heard anything. Then he got a call and 2 of the 4 movers we expected were at the storage unit (second location)... so he rushed down there to meet them and in doing so, forgot our key (so the storage place had to cut the lock which cost us an additional $50 :-P)... but the movers were efficient and got everything loaded, and then they went to our house. I believe it was about 7:30pm when the additional 2 movers arrived, but with 4 man crew they made quick time - and because of all the waiting they "started the clock" when the 2 additional men arrived to be fair. There was also a mix up with a fee, a mover tried to add for our piano being "heavy" but I emailed the office after our move and spoke to a representative and they refunded the fee since it was very clear we had an upright piano, which is why we had to hire a 4 man crew and no additional fee was mentioned. Overall we had a very good experience and would recommend kangaroo movers to our friends. Recommendations- be very clear about what you're moving so they have a record of it. Book the morning timeslot so the crew is fresh! Happy moving!”

Overall process was smooth, from filing the initial request through their website to getting the initial quote and invoice (the whole process was done in 24 hours). The move itself was very straightforward, I was only moving a 1BR to another 1BR a few blocks away so the amount of stuff I had was manageable for a two person team, and I had already packed most things myself. Movers arrived in the scheduled window and was quick in wrapping up all the furniture, and the actual move was finished in about an hour or so. Only minor gripe would be it would be nice if they had a somewhat more modern payment and receipt system. I ended up using cash for the lower price.”

These guys did an amazing job! I highly recommend them! We booked them on short notice, and they arrived EARLY with 4 guys and 2 trucks. They promptly got to work, and were very quick and efficient. Prices are very reasonable, and everyone was polite and professional. We had been living in the same 4 bedroom home for over 5 years and had a LOT of stuff. I didn't have them take everything because I thought we could take care of the rest ourselves. But later that night I started to panic because we had to be 100% moved out that week, and we both were working full time. They had done such a great job, so I booked them again 2 days later. The second time I still had a lot that was not even packed yet, but they still got just about everything - both trucks completely full. They got it done, in a whirlwind of boxes and packing tape! We are moving amid the COVID pandemic so obviously have health concerns. I asked Kangaroo Movers what precautions they were taking, wearing gloves, masks, etc. They said if we provide the masks their guys will wear the gloves. Just before paying the fuel deposit I asked again and received a different answer. This time they said, "Speaking about precautionary measures, we recommend all our customers to get basic set of medical supplies like masks, gloves and sanitizer for the movers." I don't have an issue providing the gear, but this means they are ready to send their guys without any protective gear, and are relying on the customer to provide it. I find this concerning and careless on their part. If they don't care about their workers and are ready to put them at risk, they will put their customers at risk too. So for that reason I cancelled the order. I suggest anyone moving at this time, check with the safety precautions taken by the movers.”

The move itself went fine but when I returned the next day the elevator key was broken in the stop position and a door closer was bent beyond repair. That would not cause me to leave a negative review. Accidents happen I understand that but what I find completely unacceptable is they didn't tell ANYONE! Actually when the owner inquired about the key they said "It's in the elevator" which was only half true since it was half a key! I also understand this is a challenging time for everyone. Maybe you had to hire some new people but they should be fired!”

I hired Kangaroo Movers to help me move within Bellevue and they were able to get me scheduled with a crew of two guys within about a 10 days of my move. On the day of the move, Will and Vitaly showed up exactly on time and confirmed the quote I was given. The clock started as they arrived and we finished in around 5 hours and some minutes. I had already prepared most of the boxes and furniture for the move, so they were able to quickly carry things down to the truck (from the 2nd floor) and when needed (for all furniture) they properly wrapped with blankets + shrink wrap to avoid damage. Within 3.5 hours an entire 2 bedroom apartment was loaded into a 20 ft truck at the old location and unloaded in the new one! Afterward, it took about 1.5 hours to drive over to a nearby self-storage place and move the contents of two storage units back into the new place. Will and Vitaly were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Not a single thing was broken, not a single scratch that I noticed. They charged me exactly what I was quoted -- 5 hours of labor + $25 fuel/travel fee and $20 for stairs (I was on the 2nd floor) + tip (my choice). Great job fellas!”

I hired Kangaroo Movers for a short distance move for my 1 bed, 1 bath apartment. We were a start time between 8-9am and at around 7:55am the guys called us to ask if it was okay if they arrived in 20-30 minutes. I confirmed, and when they got there around 8:25am they quickly got to work assessing what they would be moving. Our setup was a little confusing because we were keeping a lot of furniture at our old place to get rid of later, but they were great about clarifying what needed to come with. When they got there that morning, I was going to take my bed apart, but they actually left the bed frame assembled and just took the headboard off for me and put it back on when we got to the new place. In the past I've hated having to reassemble my bed after a long day, so this was awesome! They didn't want us touching anything and did everything for us; I was expecting to help a bit with small stuff so this was a welcome surprise. When we got to our new place, they were quick in getting everything up. What they quoted us via Yelp was the same as what they quoted us when they arrived, and when it was over the total was the same, no surprise charges. The only thing was mid move, they told me it was extra to move my 55-in TV; I approved the charge, but somewhere there was a miscommunication and they thought that I did not want to bring the TV over. It wasn't that big of a deal for us and we just brought the TV over ourselves and saved a few bucks. Overall, they made our move so much easier and I will not move without movers again.”

The only gripe I would have is that when I told the guys I left the keys to the 1-bed at the new apt, which made our time 20 min late which was totally my fault, he was very visibly not happy about it. Arrival time given is not the time of service, it's a range of when they'll show up- I misunderstood that. For example, it's 3-hour minimum and was give a range of 2-5pm. They can show up anytime between 2-5 to start the job, not that they will be there from 2-5. But I called and they sent my guys within 45 minutes. They were very efficient.
