I recently just hired this company for my move. As bad as I wanted to write a great review, it’s some thing’s I do not like getting taken advantage of. I didn’t complain that they were a hour late because he did notify me a hour before that they were running behind. So besides being a hour late the movers were great! Got the job done! But PLEASE if you decide to book with this company, make sure you ask them to be very clear on the driving fee and HOW MUCH it will be. Yes it is stated that there is a driving fee if it is over 40 mins to get to you. If it’s going take you over a hour & 30 minutes to get to someone(which he knew since day one that it was going take that long) I believe you need to be up front with your customers about that. That’s not fair to be sneaky about that. Bad for business! The sad part about it is, I feel like I was taken advantage of and I was seriously going to go with a different company but I said let me give them a chance, also I saw someone else complain about something similar. But I decided to give them my business anyways. So basically I paid a extra $188 just for a driving fee which is ridiculous, on top of the hourly rate. And to be honest I don’t even understand their breakdown of it. But we paid it and kept it moving. It’s more of the principle more then anything. If the driving fee is a flat $95 then say that Plus however long it takes to get to you. Don’t “not” put the amount in the terms. You aren’t being up front. So I’m just here to let everyone know to ask exactly how much is the driving fee because it was never stated anywhere and how long will it take to get to you. If I knew they were that far from me, I would have never booked them. That actually makes no sense to even book a job that far. But hey you live and learn. I just want businesses to do better, That’s how you stay successful. Learn from my experience.”
