Really giving Zero stars. Racist establishment. Theives. Called at 11am June 30 2018 and I was told the movers would arrive in an hr. After 1230 pm I received a call that the movers would not be able to make it until 3:00 pm. At 3:15 I recieved a call that the movers would arrive in 10 mins. 30 mins later a man banged on my door and as I asked who is it I was ignored . 5 minutes later I recieved a call saying they were in front , asking me to open my door. I opened my door a man came in rudely rushing threw my apartment asking me what I was moving touching everything and then quickly leaving . I’m now missing some of my expensive jewelry and he never returned. This company charges 175$ an hr with a 3 hour minimum and robs people. This company needs to be shut down. Do not do buisness with them. -sincerely an honest hard working union carpenter.”

BEWARE! This company is a BIG SCAM! Recently booked them for a move and it was the worst possible experience. The booking was taken by a woman named Nadia and while giving the quote she said all material is included except for a mattress, for which I bought my own material. But when the moving guys came, they loaded up all of my stuff and then demanded 3 times the initial estimate by adding 100s of $$ for material and COI, which wasn't mentioned before. On top of that, the guy (named Alex) literally said "This is America, we say anything to make the sale but now you have to pay the money." And he made very rude comments. On calling the JC Moving Company folks, they were even more rude and were shouting all the time. I eventually had to pay twice the initial estimate. I didn't even have that much cash, I called the company to take payment on card and they outrightly refused. I had to hassle through to an ATM and take more money out. At the end of everything, the guy had the courtesy to argue for 100s of $$ in tip as well. Please don't fall into their trap and NEVER EVER book these guys.”

- Worst possible service - unresponsive staff. Never get back to you on time ( Adrian and Andrew ). - I signed up for a move on a busy day. The price quoted over phone and email was 140$ per hour for 2 people . - First they inform they are 2 hours late. They actually came 2hrs 45 mins late. As a result the plans at the apartment where they were supposed to deliver was also delayed - on top of it they as for 170$ for 3 people . - so now we realise that the booking company is a bunch of yahoo’s who know a few people who go around budget vams and take advantage of the need - and the people who turned up were amateurs . Good people but the do not really know how to do moves - i ended up doing some lifting as well to help them move faster. Epecially if you have an elderly guy called viktor ( kind of team lead) turn up , run, as he will go as slowly as he can to get max out of you I do however give one star to the actual hard working guys . Hardworking but amateurs who have have no little regard for ur furniture and you need to keep reminding them of things that need better handling BUYERS BEWARE .”

I don't know how there are positive reviews here for this company, my experience was terrible. The issue is that they vastly underquote the price and then charge you all kinds of hidden fees and markups. The original estimate for shifting our apartment was 3 guys for 3 hrs at $129 per hour each. The company estimated that, and we agreed, it sounded fair. They arrived an hour early and started the clock while we were still out walking the dog. Then we started moving - and it took them 3 hours to load up the truck. When we got to the new house - they refused to unload our items before payment in full upfront in cash. Plus, the guy in charge said they needed 2 hours more => 5 hours @129 per hour. He was going to charge triple time at one point. Then he added in materials. Materials came to $150! for example - $25 for a box to store our TV. Charging $25 for a cardboard box is just ridiculous. Rolls of cheap duct tape at $6 per roll, when you can easily get a 12 pack for $12.99 on Amazon. We had to haggle down the price with his boss over the phone. Finally settled on $650 and added $50 as a tip for $700 total. When I was expecting roughly $450-$500. The stuff was professionally wrapped and moved carefully, just beware of going with a non-fixed price. Also haggling with the company was a pain and we ended up paying more than I would have if I had taken a fixed price. Also the attitude sucked. The boss started yelling at me over the phone. Don't believe the quote, it's not really that cheap. Just go with someone else.”

This company is so unprofessional but you get what you pay for I should of known the type of service I was getting myself into.The first time I contacted this company the representative told me they could come at 9 o’clock in the morning which was perfect however When I spoke to them for the second time to give them my card information for the deposit they change the time to 1 o’clock and said they never told me 9am. The day I was suppose to move the company never showed up. I called over 22 times and no one would answer my calls so I had to start using other cell phone numbers to Call because they were avoiding my telephone number. Plus they make you pay a deposit The company finally answered on my mother in law phone and said he can’t come until 3 and that he would be charging me more money this time. The driver was so rude and so disrespectful by telling me if I’m unhappy go with another company and hung up on me. Please stay away from this company. The amount of stress they put me and my family in during this already stressful time unbelievable”
