This was our first time. We contracted for a 10 hour move. Our crew from J&J Movers arrived a little later than expected, and we were on a timeline for some parts of the move, however they worked hard and quick so it all worked out. The guys were curtious, friendly and careful with things. They also worked well together. We had no damage. They wanted to make sure things were delivered to the right area and took the time to allow us to add felt pads to furniture bottoms to protect floors. Nothing seemed to fluster them, and our move wasn’t an easy move. I asked for several items to be moved to another location as the day went on. Nothing was a problem. They were honest and compassionate. I would highly recommend this group. I would definitely call these guys again.”

Very unprofessional. I hired two men for four hours. Four men showed up and the man running it said I got two extra guys to help out. They took 2 hours and 50 minutes. The man running it was trying to get paid an additional two hours because the 50 minutes extra for the two extra guys. I hired 2 guys for 4 hours, not 4 guys. The man then proceeded to call me repeatedly and text saying he was not paid enough. Their packing job was a nightmare as well. Offloading was a disaster.”

When I finally got to speak to a real person they went into, well, we've been doing this for 12 years and this is how it is done? Unfortunate, the movers were great, hire a helper not so much!”

I moved here without a washer or dryer and mentioned to Joe if he knew anyone that was selling a set to let me know, but he does one better and comes by 2 days later with Joe Sr. to deliver me a used set for me. I honestly figured that the reviews were written by their friends because they were all so glowing. Well, here is another GLOWING review. These guys are unbelievably fantastic. They are commensurate professionals from start to finish. Our team of six guys (Joe, Nick, Cole, Chris, Tarin, Brandon) were outstanding. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They were pleasant, professional, kind, and didn't utter a single foul word all day long. Not a single item was broken, damaged, or misplaced. They left our old house broom clean and didn't bump a single wall or doorway (no, I'm not exaggerating.) They moved our heaviest items with ease, including our piano. They were quick and efficient all day and didn't take a single break. Their trucks are absurdly clean and pristinely organized. I am VERY organized and very particular about every detail. These guys didn't disappoint. They even fold their moving blankets in a specific manner to keep them neat and clean. Oh and speaking of neat and clean, the gents wash their hands before picking up any upholstered furniture. No grimy handprints on any of our stuff. Nicely done. Here's the most impressive part: every single box and every single item was hand carried. No hand trucks, no line of guys passing boxes from one to another. Each and every item was handled with great care. Truly, it was really impressive. I couldn't be more impressed or more happy with the outstanding service we received. It was a long day and they gentlemen stayed smiling through all of it. Don't hesitate to hire these hard working guys. You won't be disappointed. My husband and I used them two years ago (I know I'm late on this review) when we moved from our appt in N. Buffalo to our first home in the Village of Kenmore. It was our first big move and I didn't realize how many boxes I had until the big move day. Trust me, I tried moving as many with my crossover. But J & J Movers came on time and kept reassuring me they were professionals and had it under control. Went I looked at all of our furniture and boxes, it reminded me of the game Tetris! Ha When we got to our home in Kenmore (yes everything fit inside one large moving truck) they had a ramp and carefully took everything out. What I liked about J & J Movers is that they asked where the larger pieces of furniture should go and actually put together our beds! You don't think about these things when moving but that was worth it in itself. Even the boxspring for our bed was large and they didn't think it would fit up the "L" narrow stairs but they made it happen! Sheets were put over the furniture in the truck to protect them and everything cane out unharmed. Dan and I couldn't of been happier and will use them again in the future. We walk around the Kenmore area and see the, "J & J Movers" sign and we're not surprised because they were worth every penny! I tipped them well too. Three guys helped total and totally rocked the moving job!!”
