“ I didn't have the best of experiences with Isaacs. My move involved picking up items from my house and storing them for five months, then picking up items from my apartment, and moving everything from the Boston area to Florida. Despite the fact that they picked up the last items on March 1st, they didn't deliver everything to Florida until March 13th. They sat on my belongings for almost two weeks hoping to pick up other loads for the trip so that they could make additional money (and I had almost a full truckload and they were charging me a lot of money for the move). While technically they met the last date of their delivery window, they gave me a timeframe of March 5th through 13th for the ultimate drop off (so they delivered on the last day that they could). When I spoke with the General Manager, he told me that I should be happy that they met their obligations as he said many movers don't and just make empty promises. I didn't feel that he really tried to do anything to help other than give me the party line. Furthermore my couch was eaten by rodents while in their storage facility. I paid extra for full insurance coverage and they initially said that the rodent damage didn't happen with them (which was impossible since they inspected the couch and wrapped it in plastic when they picked it up). They initially gave me a run around about paying the claim and then took forever to reimburse me. Again, ultimately I got paid for the damaged couch but it was not a good experience and they made me jump through hoops. Lastly they lost several boxes and said that they weren't responsible since I didn't identify the lost boxes at the time of the final delivery . I had over 160 boxes in total and was so busy just telling the delivery team where to put the boxes there was no way that I could keep track of them all. They talk about the fact that they have an inventory system to track each box but it clearly failed with me. Ultimately I'd say they did a fair job. Not great, not the worst. In the final analysis I wouldn't ever use them again and wouldn't recommend them to others. The delay in the final delivery (despite the fact that they met their last day obligation), the poor response from the general manager, the damage to my couch and the runaround on the claim (when I paid for full insurance coverage) and the lost boxes made for a less than stellar experience.”

“ Simply amazing - this is the best cross-country moving experience that my wife and I have ever had!!!!! We are military so we move back and forth across the country every few years and we have had the full range of moving quality. Isaac's is definitely at the top of them all! They did not break or lose a thing, they were so very fast and courteous, and to our surprise, they took every box and bit of paper from the house when they were finished greatly reducing our already huge task of moving into an new home a country away from where we had come from. After research, I learned that all of Isaac's movers are put through a training program where they learn standard methods and it showed - some of there tricks were ingenious, like using the old cores from the rolls of tape to create a secure container for smaller furniture parts and then affixing that container to the appropriate furniture. If I ever have to do another big move, I will RUN to these guys first!!!”

We chose to pack ourselves, but used them to pack our crystal and our chandelier. They may have crated a few mirrors too. Delivery was within a reasonable window, and the pricing was just a bit lower than the highest estimate we had. What really sold it, was the teamwork between our sales person and whomever is in the operations. Thank you Rob Arrowsmith! “ The crew that my father and I got were amazing. Alex Garcia was a really great and experienced foreman. They cleared out the apartment in Weymouth, MA where I lived. It took at least a hour taking the bins, furniture, a mattress and trash out of the apartment. They even followed my father and I to the storage units. They took fifteen minutes to clean out the unit at Extra Space Storage in Weymouth and five to ten minutes out of the unit at Extra Space Storage on Oak Street in Brockton, MA. They used the carts and they took good timing at both storage units. At the house in Brockton, MA, they unloaded everything. My father had to carry the rocking chair from where Isaac's put it outside and he carried it into the house. Isaac's did a superior job at assembling and dissembling my bed. The crew did not damage our stuff at all, especially the rocking horse from one of the storage units. Everything did fit very well on Truck 150. The trash and a mattress was disposed at Isaac's in their dumpster. I am very knowledgeable about how Isaac's can carry household trash for free, except hazardous materials.”

“ If this company hires drivers that are unprofessional I bet they aren’t the best to deal with. For the second time in a week I’ve witnessed one of their trucks driving extremely recklessly on the streets in and around Boston. Today on a narrow 2 way street one of their trucks came around a bend in the road way over the center line and the driver very obvious texting on a phone or playing with a GPS. If it wasn’t for a soft shoulder where it happened I would have had to get into a head on collision or go up on a curb or even hit parked vehicles.”
