Our recent local move, with Hercules Movers, has been such a stress reducing and smile provoking experience! We are surprised by this, because we have heard such terrible tales about moving companies overcharging, losing and destroying custom's property. Hercules does just the opposite. Every item makes it to our new home, intact/absent major loss or damage. Any slight damage is immediately reported to us, by the lead mover. Our life experiences have taught us that it is purely impossible to move without incurring some breakage, loss or other damages. So, this has been our most successful move, yet! I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. Our experience was horrible. Our final cost of move was doubled of what they estimated and they didn’t even get everything. I had to take an extra day off work to complete our move. I have a laundry list of things I was very unpleased with. All they could do was give us $100 off. Which really was just a slap in the face from the owner. Considering everything I personally did to help them through the 8.5 hr day. Don’t get sucked in to there cheap quotes because they’re not accurate. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney generals. I was taken advantage of and owner did very little to help.”

Hercules Movers was able to accommodate my move that I had to schedule quickly because my closing date changed. They were also much cheaper than my previous move with another company. However, they did not wrap my furniture as well, handle my furniture as nicely, or unwrap the few things they did wrap. They started 2 hours later than the 2 hour window for arrival, and finished at 8pm. 2 guys were very good with handling our items and 2 were not. Nothing was broken, but a lot was roughly handled. After a long day of watching my stuff get dinged on doorways and light fixtures, I had to build beds and start unwrapping dressers. The other company I used in the past unwrapped everything and reassembled our bed. To summarize: Hercules was a good price, but the execution was lacking. I was left feeling overwhelmed and sad about pieces of furniture that were dented or scratched.”

BEST MOVING COMPANY I was really torn on which moving company to use for my move from Westerville to North Carolina.I called around many places but Hercules really stood out. This company was the most reasonably priced and efficient. They worked with my move out times and move in time. I was originally going to use Two Men & Truck but the cost was much more than Hercules. Further, a lot of companies had restrictions on travel and when they could deliver my stuff. Hercules was very efficient and fast. I didn't have to wait for my stuff to be delivered. They wanted to make me happy. They were prompt on time and ensured to wrap all my furniture with care. They even ensured that packing was done properly by me and if it wasn't, they added an extra layer to ensure nothing broke. They were early on delivery and ensured that I liked placement of where they put the furniture. Some movers just put stuff wherever, but these movers actually read the boxes and put the stuff in the appropriate rooms. The manager called me after the move to ensure I was satisfied which was nice. I'm glad I went with Hercules over Two Men & Truck because I saved money, my furniture and personal belongings were handled with care and the movers were very nice - did whatever I asked. Josh and Gil moved us today, from a 4 story townhome to a split level - in 3 hours (including the 25 minute drive to our new place)!! Those two were a well oiled moving machine! My family has used Hercules for our last 3 moves, and we had never had any issues. In fact, the movers are always professional, quick, and pleasant. However, they helped us move into a new apartment on 9/29/18. They moved a couch for us, and the legs were taken off by me to aid in getting it through doorways. The legs of the couch made it into the truck, but never made it into our apartment. I noticed this while we were unpacking the same evening, and immediately called the mover who had worked with me that day. He assured me that he would get the legs to me the next day or the following week in between jobs, and that he would call me to make sure I was home. It has been almost two weeks, I have called the office multiple times with no answer, and they have not returned my calls despite leaving messages. I even offered to the mover that they could be mailed to me. I am so disappointed that as a repeat customer and someone that has recommended this company to all of my friends and family that I am treated with such disregard. I want the legs to my couch back! I will never use this company again because of the unprofessionalism after my move.”

Run, I mean as fast as possible away from this place! I feel their pricing practices are deceptive from the beginning, charging $100.00 for "gas/truck fees". The employees were both very courteous & worked hard, I will give them that. However, the walls in my house were torn up bringing up a couch, which was noted by the moving supervisor on the date of the move. Approximately a week later, I contacted the company & was assured I would hear from a supervisor. Another week later & A BBB complaint later, I was told that a claim would NOT be filed on the behalf of the company & that "their contractor". As you can imagine, that was a no go for me & I was then promised a payment for the price of the work of my contractor, which has still not been issued! I have also filed claims with the Ohio Attorney General & PUCO. I do not usually use verbiage like this, but what a "shady" business....”

I was referred to Hercules Movers by one of my friends and she had a great experience. So I scheduled a move and everything was great until one of the movers put their knee through the glass in my china cabinet. Although I was sad that the glass broke i was understanding as things happen. The movers assured me that they would speak to their manager to get it fixed. After the move was complete, i received a call about payment and it was $100 more than they quoted me because the movers took longer to complete the job because they broke the glass. IT took them an extra 45 min to figure out what to do about the broken china cabinet so therefore I had to pay more. On top of that, I have still not gotten the glass fixed and my move was over 60 days ago. No one has returned my calls, or answered the phone. Ive left over a dozen messages and no one has gotten back with me. Now I have to resort to getting my own contractor to fix the glass that the movers broke and that was assured to be fixed by them. Never again.”
