This was a mother-in-law move to a smaller apartment. Chris, Dalton, and Trent were very careful and did a great job. Packing (done the day prior) didn't seem complete. We ended up moving/packing a lot of not-packed items ourselves. Also we were given a number to call for someone to come make an offer on stuff that we needed to get rid of. No offer was made. It was only a pick up. Sure was better than moving her myself, though.”

Sean and Jr moved me from a 3rd floor apt to a 3rd floor apartment. Bought boxes, and they picked them back up after I had unpacked and reimbursed me (seriously THE BEST way to go). I had pretty bulky furniture that I wasn't around for when it was assembled. They dis-assembled everything, and re-assembled it in the new apt. Saved me a lot of work, worry, and hassle. They even took apart my patio table when we realized it wouldn't fit through the door, and re-assembled it outside on my patio for me. Took a bit longer than expected so they had another guy come and help finish up. The overall price was higher than originally quoted, but... 4 flights of stairs and re-assembling furniture.... I'd pay it again. Great service, highly recommend!”

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We recently contacted Help-U-Move for our upcoming move to Portland, OR. We submitted a request via their online form (Request-A-Quote) INCLUDING the address we will be moving to. They came out to our house to provide us with an estimate. A few days later, we received an email indicating that they would not be able to do our move because they can only do so with their affiliation with Wheaton Van Lines (GREATER than 500 miles). This is NOT stated on their website. This should have been determined prior to coming out to our home to provide an estimate. Sending us an email at 10:00pm is not the correct way to address their mistake.”

We had a last minute move and were able to book two movers within a weeks time. We got Sean and Chris and they were both great. They arrived on time and worked through consistently. They were friendly and had a great helpful attitude. Our move was pretty straight forward (we only moved to a different unit in the same complex) and the guys were patient with us as we finished packing up items here and there. For a one bedroom and an office move with a sectional and about 12 boxes, we got charged for 3.5 hours. They do charge for the drive time it takes to get to your location (port to port as they say). Their hourly rate is very reasonable and they did not have a minimum which was nice. They come prepared with lots of moving material and even laid down some tarp for the carpet which was a nice touch as well as corner guards to prevent scuffs. Our items made it safely with a few minor scuffs here and there but nothing significant. I have moved once to twice a year for the past 6 years and these movers have definitely been among the most professional. We will definitely use them again for our next move!”

All we can say is, wow. This experience moving was by far my best ever since doing it while in the military service. We've finally unpacked (2 months out) and checked over our belongings. They took care of us. It started with Adam and the inspection/estimate. He was prompt and VERY courteous. In fact, this company was the first to reply to my Yelp quote request. And the ONLY ones willing it seemed to do an onsite quote. Otherwise, all we got was one based on a standard 3BR move. He walked through and answered all our questions and asked to see everything. He explained the entire day of packing and then moving progress. He gave us quotes based on them packing and moving us, or them just moving us. He never tried to upsell us or entice us with unrealistic numbers. We scheduled both services, as the price was better than for us to do it on our own. The packing was scheduled, but I had initially given him the wrong date. They adjusted it accordingly and made sure that I was satisfied with the arrangements again. Our packers, Austin and Blake, arrived promptly when they stated they'd be there. They called first to alert us they were inbound. They had the quote and walked the apartment, ensuring they understood exactly where everything was and what they could/could not pack. They worked efficiently and quickly. We were surprised at how they just knocked it out. And their professionalism was exemplary!! They made sure we were comfortable with everything as it progressed and that they were being diligent. Next came moving day. It was a little rainy and overcast. But this didn't stop our crew of Sean and Chase. They came in and hit the ground running. Boxes flew out of the apartment at a good clip. They made sure to take care of our belongings, even so far as making two trips, since they didn't want to try and shove our couch, loveseat, and ottoman all into the back, potentially breaking something in the process. Upon arrival at our new home, they did a walkthrough inspection with us. We showed them where items would be moved, based on how they were labeled. They moved everything downstairs from our apartment into our new home without incident. The price quoted matched the price we were charged, including the packing materials. All our belongings made it safely, without any breakage. They may have even gone a little overboard on the cushion, but it was much appreciated. I am glad we hired this business, and would gladly use them again, and recommend them to others.”
