I cannot speak to their moving quality - but when I initially booked I was told they were following precautions in regards to covid (wearing a mask), when I went to confirm the move, they informed me that they would not be wearing a mask when we were not around. When I asked them to wear a mask at all times when our building/unit, they said that their initial quote would be higher because their movers cannot breathe as well in a mask (scientifically proven to be not true), and it would take them longer. That was not ok with me, and the building I was moving from (they ask residents/guests to be wearing a mask, rightfully so). When we went to cancel they said they could wear masks at all times then. We ended up canceling and lost our deposit because they misinformed us about their mask policy - and honestly just seemed dishonest. I personally would avoid using them just because they seem to be willing to say whatever to get your money for a deposit.”

I called around to a lot of local moving companies in Chicago before choosing to go with H2H movers. The reason I decided to choose H2H over the other companies I called was a variety of reasons. 1). The intake phone call was more in depth and detailed than the others. The lady I spoke with explained every detail down to the tee. She also let me know that included in the move was 3 wardrobe boxes so that I didn't have to stuff suits / coats into boxes which was nice. 2). The fact that the moving team consisted of 4 movers and not just 2-3. 3). The value and cost of the moved compared to others was more affordable than most. Not to mentioned their hourly rate included 4 movers and not 2-3. After the move I was promptly called to ask how the move went. The 4 guys that helped me move were great and really cool. A week after the moved I noticed that my Flat Screen TV Mount had cracked in the box. Not sure if it fell in the truck or something. So I reached out to H2H to let them know. I showed them pictures of the damage along with the receipt for the new TV Mount & install. The cost of the mount was $200 & the install was $50. I let them know that. They sent me a check for the whole $250 which included my install! Didn't expect that, but very nice touch. They went above and beyond. When I end up moving in a few years, I will definitely be calling these guys again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A+++”
