Almost no hours, doesn't contact you about the job you're working until the morning of and expects you to wait between jobs on your own time due to his poor scheduling. The owner is condescending and treats employees like children. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I was also told my final check wasn't available until today(12/29) but it is dated the 24th so I was withheld my money for 5 days. During a pandemic. Absolutely ridiculous. The staff is friendly, but their disorganization, lack of knowledge, and the driver’s challenge with directions made this an extremely stressful move for both my husband and me. Unless they become organized, I do not recommend this company for your move. Below are most of the issues we had with both moves: One: I had Groovin Movin move me on October 16, 2021, from a house to an apartment. I didn’t have any large furniture, only boxes, and a queen-size mattress/box spring. They initially told me I was scheduled for 2:00 p.m.; I confirmed this through text twice. I received an email confirming my 2:00 p.m. move, but he had the incorrect address (moving from a random non-existent address to the house I was moving from). I responded with the correct via email and followed up with a text. At 9:04 a.m. on the 16th, I received a text from the driver stating they were on their way. I tried to confirm their early arrival, with no answer. At 9:37 a.m. I received another text asking me the address. They thought I was starting at the building I was moving to; then they got lost; 45-minutes later, they showed up at my house. The two men were friendly and immediately went to work; this was the only good thing about this move. Unfortunately, on our way to the new place, they got lost again. Finally, 15-minutes later, they showed up. Also, they lost my bed rails – how? Good question. Two: My husband’s move was scheduled for October 18, 2021. They started at the new place (even though I told them on Saturday that they were moving the rest from the house on Monday.) They changed the move time from mid-morning to the afternoon, which was concerning because it was slated to take seven hours. They texted, confused about where they were going making them have a late start. There were other issues while they were moving him, but I can’t recall what those were. After unloading at the new place, their truck broke down. My husband had to use his very nice pickup truck to tow them out of the parking lot. When he returned the next day, the truck was still there.”

I am giving these guys one star because I could not give them zero. After having Andrey in to look at my apartment and garage and agreeing to a $500 charge for packing and moving our stuff to storage, the crew arrived approximately 45 minutes late. They would NOT follow the directions of my girlfriend and still stood around for approximately 30 minutes BEFORE starting any work. The crew then informed my girlfriend that packing was NOT PART of the arrangement. I brought in friends to pack while the crew stood around or picked and chose what they would move out. At every time that my girlfriend gave them directions, the entire crew would stop working and discuss things by themselves. The entire process was slated to be a four hour job, but took approximately 5-6 hours. They did stop to have Andrey talk to me on the phone, wanting to have a conference call with me to discuss the problems that his crew was having. The unloading was completed only because the lead man had to speak to one of his two man crew like he was as a child. On a positive note, the crew leader Christopher ran while working, placed items carefully into their truck and tried to keep his crew working. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I would recommend Christopher to start his own moving business and/or go to work for a reputable company. By the way...the agreed upon fee of $500 was raised to $600, which we paid, only to end the nonsense.”

Horrible. I had been booked for over a week to show up on a specific day. They were going to show up at 12 o'clock but did say they may run an hour late in case the morning job went over time. I can handle that. They ended up showing up at 8:30 PM After continual one hour, 30 minutes, one hour, Delays. They have a two hour minimum So while it took an hour and a half to unpack, they did not put my gorilla racks together, they didn't put the boxes in the proper rooms that were supposed to be and they had a lot of opinions. I asked them if I could get a reduction because they were so late or if they would prorate it and charge me only for an hour and a half because they were so late in showing up and it was also so late, and I had to pay the people that were meeting the movers more money and they continually had to stay later and later waiting for the movers to show up. Moving is very stressful. There's a lot of coordination. Having something planned for Movers to show up at noon maybe "1 o'clock" and they end up showing up at 8:30 PM is ridiculous. And not give me the full two hours? Extremely bad form. I'm not sure how they have four stars. I relied on them and have been vastly disappointed. Honestly I had movers pack me up and I wish I could've just brought them to Washington state. I would never hire these people again ever.”

Meh, I think not. I just spoke with their sales rep. Their quote for a load only 5x8 trailer for a studio apartment was $120 an hour with a minimum of 2hrs = $240. That's the best they can offer. The movers I had unloading when I arrived out here took less than 30min to get everything off the truck. If you're looking for them to load or unload only I recommend checking out the uhaul site. I just found movers on there for way more than half this cost.”

My items were moved into storage and I recently discovered the glass on two of my 36"×36" framed pictures was shattered, which in turn damaged the matting on both. Also, I'm missing a 16"×16" expensive piece of metal artwork, (a sunburst) that is very special to me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!”
