Run run run as far as you can come this moving company. We used them to move our items from California to Texas, it was the WORST moving experience of our families life (we move often for work) The company destroyed EVERY piece of furniture we have worked so very hard for. Damages came to over $30k - They refused to apologizes or take account for any wrong doing. On top of destroying everything they messed up the delivery time not once, not twice but 3 times, not that is mattered, when we FINALLY got our stuff from a STORAGE unit (not even our house, where it was suppose to go) every item was damaged. We then had to hire ANOTHER company to remove our items from storage to our new home. When we finally spoke to someone they gave us a lovely credit of $300. lol! $300!! Let me remind you, they ruined priceless furniture, expensive TVS, family heirlooms. Its a sad company, run by piss-pore people. For the safety of your family and your items, I highly encourage you to use another company. One with compassion and morals. It will save you months of crying over your hard earned items. Shame shame shame on this company & Tammy (Pssst) Horrible lady.PS --The driver of the truck who missed the delivery several times (because he said he went out and drank) then added us on facebook and harassed us because we reported him to the company. We were in fear for our life, because he knew where we lived

PROS: Nice movers, great job wrapping furniture, quick delivery one state awayCONS: Frustrating admin team, did not know delivery date until one day before (they partner with other companies)Overall, the movers were great and I had a nice experience during both the pickup and delivery. Drivers and delivery team were excellent, and they wrapped up all my furniture much better than moving companies I have used in the past- no scratches! My 2 floor lamps, however, were broken, and the admin team was very frustrating to work with.

I couldn’t be more impressed with the services I received by GPS Moving and Storage, from the exceptional customer service to the most swift operation. We were nervous about our move at first as it was our first time across country! (San Bernadino,CA to New Castle,Delaware) However after setting ourselves up with them we felt ever so at ease thanks to the time they took in having us feel comfortable, explaining chain of events and helped prepare us for this transition! Price was reasonable also and we did not pay a dime more, we received all our goods and in a timely manner! Communication was great too and the crews on both ends were nice guys, super hard working and friendly. We would recommend GPS Moving and Storage to anyone looking to move out of state! Thank you GPS for making our experience a pleasant one. Castros

Gps moving recently moved me to AZ. The move went exceptionally very well. The day the crew arrived to my home , they packed all my items and took the time to do it which showed in many ways when delivery came. I could not have asked for a better service. I highly recommend GPS Moving

If I could give this negative stars I would. Do NOT... I repeat do NOT use this company. I am still dealing with them a month after my move without resolution. My items were completely destroyed & some missing. I paid for them to pack my items & move me from San Diego, CA to Dallas, TX... my TV was only covered in a blanket and completely smashed. I had a computer desk that was completely destroy along with a mirror they failed to protect as they promised they would. They taped items in between cushions...this is NOT what I paid for. After speaking with Tammy Cruz about the problem & my first review, she basically bribed me to take down my review. Here I am... with a release form to release them from negligence (which I am fine with doing)... however, they want to also include a non-disclosure agreement to prevent me from doing what I am doing now... I will not give away my first amendment right!Avi (dispatcher) is extremely rude. Vanessa will be so friendly in the beginning and give you comfort on their services, but BEWARE.... this place is a complete SCAM!

With covid19 making everything so uncertain, I was nervous about my upcoming move from Southern California to Washington state. Tammy my mpoint of contact person with GPS, instantly eased all worries and answered all my questions in a friendly yet polite manner. Explaining in detail what I could expect. A couple days before my move Alex, Angel and Alejandro or the triple A team as I call them. Arrived at my place to gather my belongings. They packed everything, with more care and detail then i would have. GPS has a 10 day delivery guarantee. Those Rockstars had my stuff delivered in 3 days. Promptly after arriving to my new home the triple A team unpacked my stuff putting everything in its correct spot. The stress and hassle of moving state’s away was greatly reduced thanks to the helpful, friendly and hardworking team at GPS. If youre in the market for a moving company I strongly recommends GPS. They are true to their word, accommodating and value their customers.

I wanted to express my gratitude to GPS Moving and Storage. All the people that I spoke with Vanessa, Don, Veronica and Tammy. Were always so attentive to my calls and whenever I had questions they took the time to explain it to me. I have been in the works of preparing my move for about 6 months. I knew I wanted to hire GPS Moving to do my move to Florida when Avi the estimator came to my home. I preferred to have someone come to view all my items, I did not want any surprises. He came within the time provided and even with this pandemic, I was glad they were still open. I had a feeling I was in the right hands and that is a feeling you can not beat. My overrall Experience for moving couldn’t have been any better. Thank you everyone.

I moved from Vero Beach,FL to San Diego,CA and filled out a few requests online to get a decent quote to move my 2 bedroom home. I was looking for a reputable and established company, while they all seemed professional one company stood out. GPS Moving and Storage. Vanessa was knowledgeable and set everything up for me. Including packing everything up.The movers who came out, Tony, Alex, and Adrian, were amazing, they packed my entire apartment in no time and made sure everything was padded and wrapped up before loading it on the truck. They stayed in communication with me throughout the move and delivered everything on time as quoted. When they got to San Diego a few days later, they unloaded everything where I requested and setup all my furniture. Everything made it and nothing was damaged. I would highly recommend GPS to anyone who needs an honest reputable company with reasonable rates to move them.

wife and I moved from Los Angeles to NC during the COVID pandemic. My initial move was set with another company, through a broker, and it was an absolute disaster. I called Tammy because I wanted to go directly through a moving company and it was VERY last minute—like the same week.Tammy and her team were absolutely fantastic. Moving cross-country is a completely terrible process, but she made it doable. Don’t believe any other reviews that say terrible things. The reality is that moving itself is awful so many times that gets blamed on the company.Know what you want though. EXPECT TO PAY FOR EVERY LITTLE THING. IT HAS TO BE IN A BOX and it takes up space.Expect that your items MAY get transferred to another truck if you’re going long distance. Ask about the route plan. Tammy was fantastic with helping with this, along with insurance. All in all, 100% recommend Tammy and the GPS Moving team. Not sketchy, great teams, excellent results.

I am planning a cross country move. I called various movers for a quote. I decided on a company but the rest of the moving companies have been relentless to the point that i am no longer answering calls from unfamiliar numbers. Then I get a text, "Hi Kristen". I didn’t respond. Then a while later i get "How’s it going?" Thinking it’s a friend I text back. "who is this?" She responds "This is Julie from GPS movers. When can we talk". Mind you I’m crazy busy trying to pack. I told her that i already have a moving company and we don’t need to talk and i don’t like her tactics. Thinking that’s that, she sends me another text, "Why?" A wiki later she texts. "What did I do that you didn’t like ". Amazed she is STILL contacting me after I told her I have a moving company, I said, "I told you I already have a moving company now stop harassing me". Then she responds AGAIN, "I’m not harassing you, I’m responding to a request For a quote". It didn’t seem to matter that I told her we didn’t need to tell and i already had a moving company. They are cocky and sneaky and very rude. I wouldn’t use them if they were the last movers In the country.

******** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY******** **You have been warned** I was quoted around 1,580 dollars after a "thorough quote." Movers came out and DOUBLED the quote to over 3,200. After multiple attempts to understand their business practices, I was told it was all my fault. Yes, blame the customer for you not asking about my TV or, my chairs with my gaming table. Yes, very thorough of you. Who doesn’t have a TV or chairs to accompany a gaming table. ******** They blame the customer********** I paid over 3,200 dollars for a move less than 300 miles on a 1 bedroom 700 sq. ft apartment. It took the movers 45 mins on both pickup and on drop off. Give me a break. This company under quotes you, then blames the customer for the difference ***** Stay away. You were warned. Read the litany of BB consumer complaints. ******

My cousin needed help moving from Bonita to Spring Valley and I found them on Yelp. Pretty good experience. The movers stacked the boxes nice and neat in the truck and was patient with us while we labeled EVERYTHING. They made the experience GREAT! I hate moving but their professionalism, organization, and positive attitude was what really stood out. When they got stuck in traffic, they even gave us a call to let us know. We prepared for a few broken items but to our surprise nothing was damaged! Reasonable price and would definitely use their service again.

First and foremost, I’d like to express that we don’t take clients feedback faintly. It was very disheartening to read this review especially since we had addressed all of the concerns over 7 months back when delivery of your belongings took place. Your delivery was scheduled within the allowed time frame, but due to prior commitments you were unavailable to accept delivery. GPS Moving arranged easy access storage facility and placed your belongings there for you to access at your convenience. Even though we were within the allotted time for delivery we still refunded $373.80 for the inconvenience and for some of the boxes being damaged. The structure of the boxes were tattered but the actual contents within the boxes were not reported to us, 7 months after delivery took place to a storage unit in TX you have posted this review to 6 different review sites. We are not sure if the items remained in storage these 7 months and who moved it out of storage for you. We have made several attempts to learn more about the damages you are mentioning in your review and requesting pictures (not of the boxes but actual contents to be sent to us along with the claim form provided. Please feel free to submit a claim form - we are more than happy to correct any wrong doing.

When it comes to moving, the hassle the headache the research.. it is all stressful. I liked GPS because from the start, they were honest about their fees and their process. My husband and I hired GPS to help us move across country and the process was as smooth as a long distance move can be. We were always kept in the loop and all my emails and questions were answered within a short time. Don was my first contact with the company and he was as sweet and helpful as they come. When it came to our walk through, we had the pleasure of working with Avi. He was very nice and did our visual inventory. Once we received their quote, we decided they were the best option we had. We definitely did not want to go through a broker company, we wanted to know that the company we hired would be the one that would handle everything from start to end. The process altogether went smoothly, there were some issues with some serviced we requested but did not receive however, Tammy and Avi as always were very nice and quick to respond and provided us with the refund we requested. Our items arrived in okay condition, there was some damage done but again thats to be expected due to the nature of the move. The most important thing for us was that everything was delivered, no missing boxes which is great. I can deal with damages here and there but we were really hoping everything would arrive at our new home and it did. Overall their company is good, honest and not as expensive as others we looked into.

The Team showed up to my home and were quick to get everything started, four guys in the crew and service was great. They did the work in a timely manner. On the day of delivery at my new residence, the driver arrived within the time frame provided. Him and his helper reassembled my items, moved my boxes to the room as requested. Overall, my experience with GPS moving was a nothing but great service. A huge thank you to Vanessa, Tony, Alex, Adrian, Christian and Tom.

I contacted "GPS Moving" with a request for a quote. I received immediate answer with an approximate estimate and the representative of the company, Julie Kroleman and I exchanged communication via e-mail, phone and text messages for a couple of days regarding quotes. On November 19, 2019, we reviewed my items and agreed on a quote, and paid my deposit. I was sure that I will receive a quality full moving service and so I trusted "GPS Moving" with my belongings. The moving date was set for November 26, 2019. I was expecting the movers between 8-10 am. The movers packed the bed frame with tape and some blankets and move the boxes into the truck. On December 3, 2019, I contacted "GPS Moving" to provide them with my new address in Chicago and let them know if we can schedule the move for December 14, 2019. They responded saying that date was not guaranteed. I kept following up with "GPS Moving" for updates. On December 9, 2019, they provided me with the dispatcher’s number and told me I can contact them directly. This made me wonder what the purpose of hiring "GPS Moving" for my move was, if I must do the follow up. Finally, on December 18, 2020, a truck was reserved for my delivery but was delayed because of weather, but the driver was expecting to be in my area between January 2 and 4, 2020. I was told that they will give me a 24-hour notice. On January 2, 2020, I contacted "GPS Moving" to confirm my move since I have not heard back, and I explained to another "GPS Moving" representative, Veronica that my building had a loading dock in the back that fits a semi-truck for deliveries. Veronica, decided to call my property manager to verify, if the truck was able to deliver. Everything seemed fine, until the dispatcher called me around 3:38pm (less than 24 hours) with an attitude and gave an ultimatum that there were not going to deliver in the semi-truck, I needed to be available at the time they gave me and that I needed to pay for the shuttle. I refused to do it, so I asked if I can provide another address and I will meet them with a U-Haul truck there. I had to leave work and go find a U-Haul truck last minute, that I had to pay out-of-pocket. On the moving day, January 3, 2020 around 7:00 am, I was informed by the driver that they were not going to be able to deliver to the other address I’ve provided, and that I needed to drive to the middle of a road and have my belongings move from their truck to the U-Haul truck around 8:30 am. At this point, I had to take the day off from work. Then, drove to that location, picked my belongings and with no notice, I ended up moving my belongings into my apartment on my own. Going through my belongings, I noticed two of the boxes had broken sides and there were things in them that were damages. The items that were damaged, broken and missing. Their manager said to submit a claim and that she will make sure they will take care of it. Well, I received the claim for $15.00; which is nothing compared to the entire TERRIBLE experience I went with this company and doesn’t compensate my missing, broken and damaged items. I highly encouraged people to do a thorough research before using this company.

GPS Moving did an excellent job at packing and moving our house. They were very careful with all our furniture and valuables. The cost was very reasonable. They were quick and efficient but at the same time cautious when moving my furniture, wrapping them in blankets. The crew answered all my questions whenever I had a concern, always making me feel comfortable and secure during this process. I was very satisfied with these out of state movers. All my stuff was carefully delivered to my new location. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

I moved cross country from CA to NY. GPS Moving & Storage did an excellent job. They were positive and responsive during the entire process. The job cost exactly what was quoted and all of my belongings arrived undamaged including an antique couch and an upright piano. The driver/moving team in NY was particularly outstanding. It took less than 21 business days to receive my belonging, as promised.

Such a dishonest company! We used them to book a move across country from LA to Boston. When the movers arrived at our LA apartment, we asked them if they had a box to put our flatscreen TV in and they told us it was no problem and they would get it wrapped up in the truck. We were planning to drive it across country in our car, but figured if they had a TV box, we would just send it with the truck. They added the charge to take the TV and took it. Fast forward to the unload in Boston, the movers took the TV off of the truck wrapped and taped up in a BLANKET, shattered of course. The movers that unloaded in Boston couldn’t believe the movers from LA would do that, but told us that since the insurance is so cheap, they don’t really care because it’s technically covered. GPS Moving CLEARLY relies on the basic liability coverage for their moves. When we reached out to GPS, they gave us the information to file an insurance claim, so we did. We had to file for a large missing bookshelf that never made it off of the truck as well. When the movers got to Boston, they had also unloaded an entire dining table and chair set that did not belong to us. We had to ask them to take it back on the truck, but it became very evident to us at this point that they are severely disorganized. More than 6 weeks went by and no one would respond to us. Diane would give us one word responses and not answer any of our questions. Finally, we received a settlement letter in the mail for THIRTY DOLLARS... $30! We called and Tammy told us it was our fault for not buying extra insurance coverage, but an entire bookshelf went missing and a flat screen TV was wrapped in a blanket and guaranteed to break traveling cross country, so as far as we’re concerned, it was the negligence of the movers that caused both, and we should not be held responsible for that. The boxes that arrived looked like they had been to war and back. Several items were broken inside boxes, but weren’t worth the insurance replacement money, so we didn’t bother with those (since we were aware we had the limited coverage), but wrapping a TV in a blanket is completely unacceptable. Tammy tried to increase the settlement to $250 to cover the full cost of the bookcase "plus $50 for good will" towards the TV, but the TV was guaranteed to break wrapped in a blanket, so we feel it needs to be replaced in full. Not to mention, we paid for both the TV and bookcase to be moved and didn’t even asked to be reimbursed for moving cost, just the replacement cost. When Tammy refused to give us a refund for the TV, she told us our only option was to pay $300 to take this to arbitration. So you’re offering $250, but we’re going to pay $300 to recoup the remaining $350?? You don’t have to be a mathematician to know that doesn’t make sense. The best part is that they would have to pay $350 for the arbitration, so they’re willing to pay $350 + $250, but not $600. It’s like they’re going out of their way to make sure they don’t do right by their customers. Now we’re filing with small claims to get this resolved which is so ridiculous considering the circumstances. We will be reporting to the BBB as well. Businesses that can’t take accountability for their mistakes should not be in business! Anyways, do yourself a favor and don’t go through the headache of using this company for a cross country move. If you do, make sure you get enough insurance to replace all of your items when they arrive in pieces, or not even at all!

I called GPS moving a few days before my move in a panic as I did not account for how much stuff I had to move. I was turned away by a few other moving companies in Lethbridge because of the short notice and to my surprise GPS moving was willing to help me out. Not only did they help me on such short notice, they stayed after hours to make sure the job was complete, they set up my bed and my sons bed, they also plugged my washer and dryer in and made sure I was ok where everything was being put in my house. Avi the estimator came out to my house, he was very knowledgeable about the moving industry. On the day of the move Avi was there to make sure everything went smoothly which was valued . His crew arrived on time and got straight to work at 8am. They took there time with my china cabinet, mirrors, and other fragile items that needed that extra TLC. They crew was a pleasure to be with and even through this difficult time, they made it worry free. They completed the move in a timely manner. I Would not hesitate to hiring GPS services again, they did a wonderful job.

First thing I have to state is GPS Moving staff communication was the reason why I choose them. They communicated very well before they came, when they arrived to pick me up and after I had been delivered. They were quick and efficient but at the same time cautious when moving my furniture, wrapping them in blankets. The crew answered all my questions whenever I had a concern, always making me feel comfortable and secure during this process. #Tammy was great. She walked me on the phone to decides what we would be moving. #The estimate was surprisingly accurate. The final price was very fair. #There were a few schedule changes necessary due to changing closing dates on my home. I can only say great things about GPS moving. We highly recommend GPS Moving and Storage company. I Would not hesitate to hiring GPS services again, they did a wonderful job.

I moved to San Diego from Chicago, IL and I struggled at first to find a professional and reputable company. I had received several quotes and just wasn’t comfortable with the lack of concern most of these companies had regarding the pandemic. Finally I hit the jackpot with GPS. Vanessa from was amazing and put my mind at ease with the many precautions they were taking to ensure their employees weren’t ill and to ensure they followed strict CDC guidelines. She quoted my move, at a great rate and we scheduled everything out. The crew who came out, Adrian, Tony and Abraham, were on time masked and gloves on and quickly packed my two bedroom home, using generous padding and wrapping so nothing would be damaged and put everything on the truck without issue. They were careful but fast and efficient. They stayed in communication with me throughout the move and delivered everything on time as quoted. Unpacking was quick and painless as all my items were unloaded to the rooms I requested and they even put my beds together. Everything made it in one piece. I would highly recommend GPS to anyone who needs an honest reputable company with reasonable rates to move them.
