Great company if you don't mind being LIED to by the owners of the Company. The guys they sent out, one was great & treated our furniture with care. The younger guy which was new to them and no longer works for them (the owners stated) was careless and not careful with our Furniture. Needless to say our very nice,real furniture ended up with some chunks/ scratches in it. I called the owner Cara and ask why I didn't receive a call after a week of the move when I was told by Mover in charge (Alec) that I would. She blew it off of course and said she would come out to look at our furniture. She arrived with her husband (other owner) and he was not pleasant from the get go. They did fill in what they could with thier Pen Fillers. But two areas on two different pieces of furniture they need a Wood person that knows what they are doing to fill in the wood that is missing. I was being very nice about this considering the damage done to our brand new wooden staircase from the Dolley ( that they discussed in front of me about how the tire goes flat with heavy furniture, the movers used the wrong Dolley apparently) that was used to take some of the furniture up. Cara said she would call me the following week with information from the guy they use to come out and make the furniture look better. But they ( the owners) were fine about the damage left to our stair case, as they were told it was a brand new staircase and flooring that was just installed in the house before we bought the home. I stated thier was no way to fix the staircase without the whole staircase being taken apart. The wood was severely indented from the Dolley. I have tried, and tried to call all of last week left messages as to why I haven't heard back from her or her husband as they are both owners of the Company. Cannot get a response from them. So now all the next steps will have to put into action. It's sad the Owners told me they would be taking care of our issues and now 2 weeks later, not a peep from them. They definetely are not People that keep thier word on anything. Also, as I'm still waiting for a reciept as I was told would be sent to me and still waiting for that from the day of the move. Thank God my daughter snapped a picture of the guys written reciept. But would have been nice as I need a Professional Reciept for other personal reasons that I never received. As my husband's company was helping pay for our out of State transfer. Thanks again Owners of Gentle- Men Movers, just with everything going on in our world with the Pandemic and all the other unfortunate things, would have been nice to have the Owners of this Company just follow through with what they said. Now another hassle that no one needs will have to be dealt with by further action unfortunately. That's why Better Business Burea and further action will be taken. Shame on you guys for what you have done as Business Owners. It's pathetic.”
