We called them less than 24 hours before our labor only move and they made it happen for us! Due to COVID-19, we wanted to ensure that our movers wore their masks and maintained social distancing. I scheduled to have this business move my 800sqft 1 bedroom apartment (no appliances) into a 2 story home 30 minutes across town. We discussed an estimate of $200 for 2 hours with 2 movers and a truck. I mentioned to the receptionist that we did have an additional mattress and bed frame to move as well. On the day of the move, the team arrived an hour late. They did not call ahead to let us know they would be running late. They arrived with a truck that was too small to fit all of our belongings. It took them 3 hours to pack the truck and then a second (much larger) truck arrived to collect the remaining belongings that would not fit. It was becoming apparent that the packing process would have taken much less time if they had brought a larger truck. Hours of our time and money was wasted while they tried to figure out how to make it all fit. Upon moving our belongings into our new house, they scuffed our front door and one of our walls. At the end of the move, even Fernando (who came with the second truck) seemed surprised when the other 2 movers told him it took 5 hours to move everything. He turned to us and asked for $500 and that didn't feel right to us. We later contacted them via email asking for a partial refund. I explained that I wouldn't have hired this business had I known it would cost us more than double the estimated price and time. I've yet to receive a response from them on the matter and I don't expect I ever will. I honestly feel cheated. How could it possibly take 5 hours to move an 800sqft 1 bedroom apartment? Just for reference, our neighbor's movers moved their 1600sqft house in 3 hours for $550 and they did full disassembly and assembly on top of moving their applicances. I would not recommend this business to a friend and I will not hire them in the future.”
