About Fastruck Moving Company
Fastruck Moving was established in 2009 by three brothers – Al, Tim and Ross. All three were movers at various stages of their lifes, and decided to combine their knowledge and expertise at their own moving company. We have started with two shabby moving vans, but full of enthusiasm, and certainly plenty of experience. Fast forward almost a decade we are operating a successful, recognized and trusted moving company with more than 70 employees, and a fleet of modern, well equipped trucks.

What a first rate experience. My crew of 3 was led by OG. We were moving from a 3/2 house with tons of narrow stairs and odd corners to another 3/2 house with even more stairs. A sample of our items included a massive king size bed and very large potted plants. I've used many movers, and I've generally had a good experience, but this was the best movers I've ever used. It was also by far my most difficult move, in terms of energy required and weird parking situation for a massive truck. These guys were top notch and very nice. By the way, when I was closing out, there was no mention of yelp, or any pressure to write a review on the spot (unlike other moving companies *cough* Excalibur *cough*). If you can imagine a stress-free move, this was it. Tom and his crew made it so easy for me! Their arrival time was arranged for 8 to 9 AM. At 7:45 Tom called to tell me exactly when they would get there within a 10 minute range. I had asked for two movers but there were three men in the truck. Tom said the third man was in training and I would not be charged for his labor. Each item in the contract was carefully explained before Tom had me sign. The men handled everything with care. In an hour all my furniture and the boxes from my first floor one-bedroom apartment were on their truck. It was 5-1/2 miles to my new apartment - they took a different route than I did and got there ahead of me. The last part of the move was more complicated because my new place was on the third floor of an older building with a small elevator. But no problem! All my stuff arrived in good condition and so did I. The whole move from start to finish took a bit over 3 hours and was MUCH less expensive than I had anticipated. Wow! Fantastic job by our three man team of Eddie, Roman, and Mike. We moved from a two bedroom apartment with two flights of stairs to a one level house,so they had their work cut out for them on the front end. Great experience from the initial contact to after the move. The move was fast and the guys were careful and friendly, and the prices were great. I worked with Tim initially because I had a last minute move. He was the nicest, most helpful and professional moving company person I've worked with. He was able to schedule me in for a great rate last minute after giving me other advice prior to scheduling. Ross, Sil, and Miroe arrived on time and were very efficient, careful, and courteous. They finished my 2-bedroom move in 3 hours! They even found two tiny but necessary pegs that came off my baby's crib (I forgot to take them out). You could tell these guys have worked together a lot. We use this moving company based on their yelp review. We were going from Studio City to Palm Springs. They came out and looked at what we had to move. They showed up on time on-the morning of the scheduled move. Boxed up all the items, that we had not preboxed. It is suggested that you do your own boxing up valuable items. Loaded everything up into the truck, carefully and quickly. Then off to our new house. Everything was loaded in according to directions on where to put items. Nothing was damaged or broken. The moving company I’d used my last couple moves only services the Valley, so I had to call around for quotes for another mover this time. Fastruck’s offer was seriously $40/hour less than the next cheapest quote I got. The only catch is that they make you put down a reservation deposit, but that is subtracted from your total on move-in day, so it really doesn’t matter in the long run. As for the move itself, it was no frills, not much for conversation, in and out. As long as nothing gets broken, I am fine with that, and they didn’t beg me for a positive Yelp review like some other movers I have used. Ironically, that encouraged me to write one more.”

Found this company by reading the reviews and have to say that I agree with other 5 star reviews. I arranged for a move just a few days before I wanted to move and they were very accommodating. Alex called when they were 30 minutes away (right in the middle of the time window they gave) and when they showed up at my storage space they were professional and courteous. When arriving at the new place, they put down floor coverings and wall protectors. They were efficient and super nice. When it was discovered that we were missing some parts for the bed frame they put together, they offered to go back to my storage unit to help find them. I had to move my 3 bedroom 2600 sq feet home full of furnishings and personal belongings. My realty agent highly recommended me a mover who quoted $4,000 for 8 guys, 2 trucks and 10 hours. I found that quote two high and thought $1500 should had been enough for a one day job. I checked on yelp for a mover and found Fast Truck Moving with decent reviews. I told them it probable take two trips. They quoted me $150 a hour for 4 guys and 26 foot truck. I estimated with two trips 8 to 10 hours would do. The movers arrived on time at 9am with 4 guys and 26 foot truck. They were very professional and courteous. We work nonstop all day except for brief lunch break and the job was done in 10 hours. They help disassemble the bed and reassemble at my new place. They took down paintings and mirrors. They place protective runners on the floor and also wrap blankets around door way corners. Overall a very professional and efficient job. The total bill came out to be $1600 which was 60% less than the original quote i got. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing moving services. I’m not sure if their rate is the lowest but it was money well spent and very fair and reasonable.”

I’ve used this company twice this month. I moved from a 2 bedroom apartment 25 miles away. The first time was with a 26’ truck. I filled up the entire truck. Tom, Kostya, and Pavel did a great job moving everything. I did not have any damaged items. The big furniture they carefully disassembled and wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap. The plastic wrap was especially important because it was raining during the move. The second move with with a smaller 20’ truck. Tom and Gamba helped on this one. It was just mainly boxes this time. They did a very efficient job loading and unloading the truck. I originally chose this company because it was one of the few ones that showed prices on their website, and because of the good ratings. The process of getting a truck was easy. They did a good job quickly responding to emails and text, and communicating about Double Driving Time set by the California PUC. I had a lot more stuff to move than I realized, and I hurt my back from just the packing process. There is no way I would have been able to complete my move myself before my lease was up. I would not have been able to get it done alone. Thankfully, FastTruck was there to save the day. Once again, special thanks to Tom, Kostya, Pavel, & Gamba, for your professionalism and hard work. If I had to move again I’d definitely want you guys to help, but hopefully I won’t have to move anytime soon!”
