Evergreen Moving Systems (formerly Everett Transfer) opened its doors in 1964 as a small family business. It was an agent for North American Van Lines and was owned by the Lawrence family. The company operated a couple of trucks and served the Everett, WA area with distinction. Today, Evergreen Moving Systems serves customers from Seattle to the Canadian border for Atlas Van lines. With 20 local trucks and 24,000 square feet of warehouse space, owners Bill and Steve Brown feel that the company is positioned for growth with the regions’ population. The warehouses are centrally located to better serve our customers more economically. Our employees are proud of the history and reputation of this company.

This is a family owned business and they go to extra lengths to assist their clients. We've used Evergreen to move my parents, I've used them and my daughter used them for a move and for storage. They packed everything well and did the job for a reasonable price. Storage is dead cheap if you don't mind having your things in Everett or Burlington with limited accessibility. Finally, last week we packed a moving van to take my daughters' possessions across country. She booked one of those "you pack the truck" deals to save money. Evergreen not only arranged to have all of our vaults assembled and opened; when we started packing the truck, Steve, the owner, spent two hours carrying heavy furniture and helping make sure we packed it properly. We'd never have been able to do it without him! Great company and the only movers I'll be using in future!”

This will be my first time going online to leave a review for anything and I am doing so because my fiancé and I were so disappointed with the service from Evergreen Moving that we felt the need to warn others before entrusting them with their belongings. We choose this company because Bill, the owner of Evergreen, promised us a 'short window of delivery time', he ensured us our stuff would be taken to the warehouse and loaded onto a truck to begin its delivery cross country immediately. Our stuff was picked up on Dec. 26. We were to leave the next day to drive across the country and the movers promised our stuff would be there by Jan. 10. Nearly 2 weeks later and after numerous attempts to contact this moving company to see the status of our move we FINALLY get in touch with a receptionist who tells us our stuff is still sitting in a warehouse in Washington state. We have still not heard back from Bill, the owner, and have talked to his receptionist numerous times to have him call us back. I highly recommend choosing another company. They are not only unreliable but hard to contact and when we reviewed our contract we found they left out many things. I would NOT recommend trusting this company with your belongings- there are MANY other moving companies out there and this is by far not the one to use.”

All of the employees we met were friendly, courteous and never stopped moving. I especially was relieved to know that the foreman of the crew for packing and loading would be our van driver to Utah, Joe Williams. He gave us his cell number before heading out and he kept in touch until we had our belongings delivered.
