The process was smooth. I packed all of my things up and they put everything on the truck, stored it, then moved it from Colorado to South Carolina. It did take a few weeks to arrive, as I had a far move, but everything arrived intact! No missing items. Excellent service from the movers who had me check off the boxes as they were unloaded. I appreciate everything Edens did for me to make my move less stressful. Highly recommend this service! The prices were significantly lower than others in the area for this size of move. One tip is to pack all your items in smaller boxes and keep them light. A few of my heavy boxes were nearly falling apart but that was my fault for packing too much in there. Thanks Edens !”

“ Overall, you can’t go wrong with Eden’s moving service. They were professional, organized, and were priced better than all the big van lines. The people I worked with to set up the move were helpful and did a good job getting a solid estimate in place (they didn’t account for the need for a shuttle fee, which I wasn’t pleased about, but it wasn’t the end of the world). The movers called ahead and arrived on time. They were both very nice and took a lot of care with my furniture and boxes. They did a thorough job and I was happy to see them put in the effort. They even came back to pick up a box that I had forgotten and were so nice about it. Everything arrived in the condition it was packed in. Nothing was lost or damaged. The movers unloaded and set up what they had disassembled properly. It was seamless. My only gripe, and the reason for the 4 star review, is the time it took to get my stuff. 15 business days which was just too long. I was initially given an estimate of 7-14 days but was later told 7-14 business days. That’s a big difference. My initial estimate of delivery was pushed back, although I eventually got an accurate estimate and it arrived when Eden’s said it would. 15 days is by no means outrageous and it was only 1 day past their eventual estimate. I just wish they’d been a little more realistic about delivery time up front and I also wish they were a bit faster. That’s a long time to wait without one’s stuff. Finding a good moving company is difficult and ultimately Eden’s is a good one. I would use them again in the future and I recommend you do too.”

“ I am glad to see that others have had a great experience with this Moving company. I however, will never use them again. It was the beginning of the pandemic which added much more stress to a move across the country. After getting an online quote, I was very nervous that they didn't have a true understanding of what we were moving. Fortunately, they were able to send someone out to look over everything. At that time, we probably had about 75% packed. We showed him everything that we were taking. We got the quote and signed up with our deposit. The day of the move was awful, the team manager had me in tears within 20 minutes of arriving. Apparently, we didn't have things packed correctly, we had followed the guidelines the employee gave us, and we had packed things like the TV with his recommendations. Apparently that was wrong, and we had to scramble to find appropriate boxes to pack our TV's in. Thankfully I had friends to help with repacking but then I was told that my kitchen table needed to be in a box because of the tile top. This was never communicated to me and now the quote is almost $2000 more than we were quoted. I ended up having to get rid of my kitchen table and chairs, a bicycle, and a few other items because I just wasn't able to pack them the way they told me it needed to be. That was just a horrible day. Then they added $600 for a rental truck as they said a semi trailer truck would not be able to come through to where our apartment would be. No sooner do we move in, than I see an 18 wheeler semi trailer truck pull into this neighborhood with no problems at all. Now we owe way more than we were quoted. I couldn't ask them to take everything off the truck, it was too late at that point, so I was now really upset at not being able to come up with the rest of the money when our property was delivered. I started calling and emailing immediately to ask how they could quote you one amount, after their person had come to our house to inspect everything and then we're up for thousands more. For 10 days we tried to speak to a manager. the managers are out currently. The managers are helping at other facilities, lots of excuses. 10 days is a long time when you don't know what you are going to do to pay for your items. Finally we got a call back and got told that a quote can not increase more than 10% and they would reduce the amount we owed. Well Thank you!!!! I wish we had known that earlier so I wasn't losing sleep over it. And then we were told the moving team that showed up were not used to interstate moves and he apparently wasn't told ours was an interstate move and that's part of the communication breakdown. So I am very unhappy they took an extra $600 for a truck that we really didn't need, the semi could have come here directly. I was very relieved that the bill was reduced, but as far as communication goes, it was very poor. I would have given them one star if it wasn't for the reduction in the final bill. Some of our furniture arrived stained but at this point, I just didn't want to deal with them. They got us here, but will never ask them again.”

“ The experience started out pretty standard. Except the guys that picked my stuff up left packaging tape and rolls all over the place. But as the delivery date approached, the issues began. Got called and told I'd be charged $400 extra to transfer my stuff to a box truck as a tractor trailer could not reach my new address. Which was clearly a money grab because I was loaded at my old address by a box truck at no extra charge. Which was a crowded apartment complex in a bigger city by the way. Then I got calls telling me when my stuff was to be delivered. Only to later be called and told it needed to be delayed. This happened three times with virtually no explanation. So after several people missed out on shifts at work multiple times to help unpack, and still no delivery, obviously it became a huge problem as the latest date of delivery that I was promised came and went. I called the driver and the office and they both offered no comfort, apology or explanation. And obviously no refund or discount of any sort for the unprofessional performance. Finally our stuff arrived late one evening with little notice. The man who I'm assuming was in charge did almost nothing besides talk on his phone and go outside and text. He was also DRUNK. All 5 of us smelled it even through his mask and he kept running into stuff. Dropped our couch outside probably because of being impaired. Good thing we were paying attention because they brought stuff in twice that didn't belong to us and they didn't even notice until we said something. I wonder how many people are missing their goods because of this carelessness? His colleague pretty much did all the work himself and was very friendly and efficient. He is the only reason I'm giving a second star. I felt bad for him. This was a nightmare. Next time I'd rather spend the thousands on something worth it. Hire someone else! It'll be a mistake not to.”

“ I would not recommend this moving company if you value any of your items. We used them once and although we had minor issues, overall it was an okay move. So we decided to use them once more for our move from CO to VA. BIG MISTAKE. They broke our new Traeger Grill by not properly wrapping and securing it from being bent. They bent the handlebars on our lawnmower as well. Our washing machine was missing the drum shock and the lid was bent and damaged. It was also a new appliance. Our wooden kitchen table leaf attachment was broken, so now it does not latch. Our buffet cabinet was cracked down the sides. This is only a few of the items damaged. We had a dresser damaged, microwave cart, antique rocker, a couple of lamps and souvenirs damaged beyond repair. We filed a claim and they valued our damages at less than $200.00. Really? The Traeger Grill is new and it cost over $800.00. Again, do not use this company. I do not see an option to add pictures but we had pictures of all the damage. ZERO STARS for Eden's Moving Company.”

“ This company is awful and NOT military friendly. They were fine to deal with until they had all of my household goods in their possession. They made SO many false promises. I was doing a military move and needed them to get weight receipts for reimbursement. I was assured and reassured that they would be able to do that for me and in the end they didn't (stating that they never do this despite the fact that I was told multiple times it wouldn't be an issue) which means I was left paying $2k out of pocket for my move as I had no weight receipts to submit. They claim to be military friendly by providing a discount, but can't do the bare minimum to ensure that we can get proper reimbursement on the move. Additionally my drop-off date kept getting pushed back. When my third drop-off date came and went I had to call them to get an update and they initially said they had no idea when it would be arriving and couldn't even tell me where it was along the route. It took 4 phone calls to get out of them that my stuff was in Arizona (I was moving from Denver to San Antonio - I understand you combine moves, but it had already been 2-3 weeks from pick-up) and that it would likely be another week, but nothing could be given to me definitively. When I finally did receive my items they came in an unmarked UHaul at 6pm. They somehow managed to lose one of the feet to my bed and left the frame just sitting on the ground with no apology or mention of a solution. Do not use this company - they were the biggest headache to deal with and led to me getting zero reimbursement on what should have been a completely covered move.”

“ I have moved cross country twice and my experience with Eden's Moving Services was AWFUL. I feel they misled me on multiple occasions and I ended up paying over $1,000 more than what I was quoted for. For example, I added small containers to my quote and then when the movers showed up they packed those in bigger boxes and charged me for packing and supplies! I could have gotten the boxes and done it myself if I knew they were going to do that. They also told me, and I quote, "You will have people with Eden's Moving shirts from pick up to drop off." They kept their promise for pick up, had three great, fast guys do the job, but upon drop off? They had ONE single driver show up. I don't even know how he could have unloaded all of our stuff, it would've taken him hours. Instead of watching the poor guy struggle with all of our stuff, we offered to help. I called Eden's looking for a (small) partial refund, since they definitely didn't hold up their end of the contract. It took me WEEKS to hear back and only after I said I'd get my credit card company involved. They told me that it was "my prerogative" to help and I didn't have to. Are you kidding me?? I cannot emphasize enough that you should not do business with this con of a company. I am not one to write one star reviews, I really like to let that go, but this was a constant slew of bad interactions with these guys. Their manager Gary was not helpful at all and was rude each time I spoke with him.”

“ What an incredible disappointment. Drew at Edens was very helpful in getting us quoted and sold, and then they didn’t seem to care after that. Was told our quote would cover what was discussed, turned out they charged $2,000 more. Was told our truck would deliver on the 8th, turns out they care more about their fine print than their verbal commitments and “couldn’t find anyone (subcontractor) to drive the truck.” Were charged the remainder of our payment before they committed to a delivery date, and felt like they treated us like “you’ll get your stuff what we’re ready and like it.” Finally they call us on Friday afternoon and tell us they are only a week and a half past the date we discussed. I understand that your company is really good at fine print, but please be sure your employees and subcontractors don’t commit to things you can’t deliver (no pun intended). Also broke two tables, one chair, one dresser wheel, a bench, and we haven’t even unpacked yet. I had two other friends move the same time as we did with other companies. Both were given delivery dates that delivered on time across the same or greater distances.”

“ DO NOT USE EDEN MOVERS FOR ANY REASON!!FREE IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! I am giving Eden Moving, out of Colorado, 1 star because negative stars are not an option. I went with Eden because 3 years previous (before they sub contracted out) my move was great. This time, however there are not enough words in the English language to describe the horror. At least 1/2 of the boxes were either empty stuffed with crumpled paper-too bad they did not use the paper to wrap my fragile items- or had so little in them things just rattled around. And yes they charge by the cubic foot. All but 1 piece of furniture damaged beyond repair. All my Waterford crystal, stolen; artwork destroyed, missing, or in need of reframing; they stole my frame making tools. Stole power tools,narcotic prescriptions for debilitating disease-hope special place in Hades for these clowns-china, and artwork to name but a short portion of a very long list. What little china made it here, was not individually wrapped (and I even supplied dish packing crates and foam sleeves to make it brainless and fast) was tossed in a box without benefit of individual wrapping, so it is either chipped, cracked scratched or broken. Overcharged my move by 10,000.00, which is fraud,by the way and to add insult, today I was offered a $350.00 settlement. Are they freaking kidding me! The theft alone tops $50,000.00. These jerks went so far as to pack my new bedding in a box labeled china hutch-after liberating most of the linens-and then vomiting in the box and tightly sealing it up so it could fester for a few months undetected. It took me over an hour to stop wretching.”
