Considering we had some unforeseen issues arise, like desks that couldn't fit in the door of the new office and had to be completely disassembled to one having to be brought through a patio style window, they handled every issue with grace. The attitudes were upbeat and fun. 3 of the gentlemen had to return the following Monday to finish assembling some items and hang some pictures for us and they were the best! Our team lead by the operator (Gene Willis) was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, careful and experienced. He made sure my spouse and I were comfortable with everything that was going on during the move. We were informed either by Shanna (sales) Sarah (move coordinator) or Gene (van operator) of how the process worked and all were consistent in their information. The truck and loaders/packers showed up when they said they would and both loading and unloading went very smooth. Best of all- Nothing broke or missing!! They even helped us build our beds back and move furniture several times to get it in the desired space. If I picked up a box, someone was right there to get it out of my hands. Newest update: I was never contacted by anyone at EE Ward, not effort wise, monetarily or otherwise. Among the items I couldn’t salvage: elliptical, weight rack, bunk beds, heavy duty storage rack and shelving unit. That’s several thousands of dollars I can not recoup and went out of pocket to replace. Beyond disappointed. They will ask for a 5 star rating but be careful, 5 star companies don’t need to ask for the credibility. Update: I have spend at least twenty hours calling manufacturers trying to get replacement parts. My hardware box was not located and is not in my storage and now I am burdened with trying to hunt down all these parts so our furniture and storage racks are still viable. This is a headache and I’m taking back the “least stressful move” comment. It had now indefinitely became the most stressful. I have spoke to Qualie and Lisa was to call me back about EE Ward claims process but has yet to do so. James and Keith assures me that they would find my box and do all the leg work to find the parts but alas, here I am. Waiting on hold calling stores, finding out manufacturers, calling them, getting part replacement quotes and shipping to replace furniture legs, bolts, fasteners, castors, etc. James & his moving crew went above and beyond, I have moved 8 times cross country in recent years and this was the least stressful. Not only did they take care of my stuff, they carefully unloaded my 4/3 household - to include two motorcycles and got it all to fit in my storage shed. Dan is a magician, I don’t know how he did it! They called in advance, were on time, professional and pleasant and flexible when I had to change units and cleaned up any trash that accumulated. I plan on using them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.”

My move from Charlotte area to Florida was a disaster! They decided to use 2 smaller trucks instead of one and one truck had a split load. They off loaded mine to put other load in front of trailer and re-loaded mine. I guess this was the problem, Thousands of dollars of my stuff was not reloaded. In any case many large boxes on the back part of my load did not make it and they were not able to locate. I expected maybe some damage, did not expect many things not making it at all. It is coming on 2 months now and still messing waiting to hear from their claims department. They want to know inventory number of items missing but their inventory list is useless. Descriptions are cryptic (picture, vase, etc.). Also the inventory was stopped well before end of loading. Many specific items that were lost are not on inventory for sure. I did have photos from the house prior and was able to show them photos of a number of the items. They don't doubt the stuff is missing, just don't seem to care to make it right. If you are thinking about using this company add 50% to their quote to cover follow on issues and compare that to competitive quotes. Or if you have stuff you can't replace DON'T USE E.E. WARD!”

We recently used EE Ward to move across the country. Their customers service was GREAT until the actual move. The woman who gave us a quote was timely, friendly, and professional. We paid for packing and they budgeted two days -- the movers the day of were more than friendly, kind, and helpful. The foreman on the job asked the men to squeeze all of the packing into one day and later charged us overtime. We also had a few missing and damaged items when everything arrived at our new home. Some wear and tear is expected in a cross country move; however, EE Ward has not responded took weeks to respond to requests for repair and has flat out refused to compensate us for missing technology items. If you had asked me at the beginning I would have more than recommended EE Ward, but after it is all said and done I would never recommend based on the customer service on the back end. What you see is not what you get. Update: I have called, left a voicemail, and emailed the below contact and have not been contacted back. I am still missing a printer and paper shredder that EE Ward has refused to acknowledge, even after going through proper claims procedures.”
