I spent a lot of time looking up different moving companies. I settled on this company because of their awesome reviews here and elsewhere. All 5 star reviews, and mine is just one more for their list. Here is why. 1. Price. These guys ranked among the lowest in my search. For my quote it was $89 an hour for 2 movers (plus the one time truck fee of I believe it was $55). They charge when they arrive at your place and stop charging at your drop off place after finishing their move. 3 hour minimum. Then they charge afterwards in 15 minute increments. This places them near the top when it comes to price. 2. Craig and straight forward. They are basically all inclusive. They don't try to charge for some basic stuff like other companies do. Example, stairs? No extra fee for that. I will also add to this, Craig, who I talked with on Yelp and on the phone. He was polite and friendly and answered all my questions and helped me feel at ease. I felt very good after reading all the other reviews of this company and after talking to Craig. 3. They took care of my items. I was very, very concerned about this. But Abe and Michael, our movers, were exceptional. We had some really heavy and awkward things to move. They managed it beautifully. They were great. I loved the care I saw from them making sure to slow down to navigate an area. They'd communicate on the best way to move something with each other, remove doors (and put them back on) as needed, disassemble and reassemble (perfectly) as needed, and were just really great. All of my items came through wonderfully. Additionally, Abe and Michael were very friendly while also professional. Great guys and we loved having them here. 4. Speed. You'd think with the care they show for your items and their low hourly cost, that they might be slower than others? The opposite. We had quite a bit of stuff. Most companies quoted us 3 to 4 hours. I believe Abe and Michael got done in 2 hours and 15 minutes. This was also one of the reasons I chose them initially. I saw it mentioned on several reviews how they finished early. This helped with the fears of movers going slow just so they can try to get more money from you. This company is not like that. They are professional, fast, and take great care of your items. The girl that called was very friendly and easy to work with. The 8am - 9am slot was originally booked on the day we were looking to move so we signed up for the 2pm - 3pm slot. She called a few days later letting us know the 8am to 9am slot opened up and offered us the opportunity to switch which was really nice. The movers showed up early (with permission) which was great. They worked hard and communicated all the terms of the move with us so there were no hidden costs or surprises. Ed and Abe were awesome movers and worked quickly and efficiently. Everything survived the move and nothing was broken. I chose Denver Door to Door Movers because of all of the rave reviews on Yelp. If I could give 0 stars I would. I scheduled movers via their website, and had the option of selecting a start time between 9-10am or 2-3pm. I elected for 2-3pm, which was a HUGE mistake. Around 1:00pm I got a call from them saying that they were running behind from their morning job. They asked if I still wanted them to come. When I asked how long it would be, the gentleman (who was actually the owner of the company, but never identified himself as such) I spoke to said between 4-4:30. I agreed to this time and they agreed to waive the truck fee of $55. At 4:45, I still hadn't heard from them. I called their office and no one answered. Around 5:00, I called again. This time Ali answered and said that he didn't know what time they would be there and that the previous time of 4-4:30 was just an estimate. He agreed to call the crew to see where they were at. When he called back he stated that they were just unloading the previous job and that because of a long walk they probably would be at that job another 3 hours. Ali (the owner of the company) gave me two options of waiting for the moving crew whenever they would get there, or rescheduling until Tuesday (the day I had to be out of my apartment). After reading such amazing reviews about the customer service and quality of work, this is absolutely not what I expected. I ended up canceling their services and scrambled to find movers at the last minute. After the clear miscalculation of the previous job and lack of communication on an accurate timeframe, I had ZERO faith that they would actually show up at all. I fully support small businesses and understand that things come up, but getting more details about the job would be my first recommendation. Second,probably just find a different moving company that will actually show up when they say they will.”

The movers, Nick and Josh, called me the morning of to confirm their arrival time and they showed up right on time. Both men were friendly and polite; and, most importantly, they treated my possessions with care and respect. It was 90+ degrees outside, but Nick and Josh worked quickly despite the heat.
