They deliver furniture to big lots. They tell big lots that the delivery is $30 and to tell customers that is they fee. What they don't tell Big Lots is in order for them to haul away the old boxes the furniture comes in they require more money to haul it away. Since they know people do not want the boxes left they either have no choice to pay the mover or deal with it themselves. Bad policy guys, you need to disclose this to Big Lots. Bait/Switch pricing is bad business. Telling the store one price to tell customers then charging customers more when you arrive is not building a trusty business relationship with anyone. It ok to charge for services as long as it is not hidden charges. The guys who delivered where great, it is your company policy that make the deal shady......”

I referred two people to them for a major move and when I called to see if they would move some furniture for me again they would not return my phone call and give me an answer even after I had already spoken with someone there. No worries will never call or refer again.”

Incomprehensible business practices. We were scheduled to have our furniture delivered at 5pm to the tune of $80, no big deal. We find out the day of (not at point of sale like a standard decent business transaction would occur) that 1. It’s actually a delivery window of 5-8 and 2. Assembly is not included (opposite of what we were assured at the store). At 8:01 I had to track down their number to ask where my furniture was since they had not bothered to call to let us know they were running behind. My inquiry was queried with “Who are you?” and then told they were going to another delivery before coming to us (again, not a single attempt from them to contact us to let us know). After 9pm they finally stroll up and then refuse to assemble our furniture for us, though we offered to pay extra, because we “were not scheduled for assembly” (because suddenly adhering to a schedule is important to their business model). Lesson learned, never again.”

I’m not sure what the negative reviews regarding the staff on the phone being impolite were about - both times I called the staff was very polite & professional. The weather was about 95 degrees and the guys didn’t complain at all. They stayed until everything was set up and to my satisfaction. The only negative is that I felt like I needed to give them a big tip because they worked so hard in the HOT weather and did such a great job! I would absolutely hire them again.”

Hired them to move a few large pieces of family heirloom antique furniture items. Discovered a few weeks after the move that they had severely damaged the top of an antique cabinet, causing it to lose several layers of wood. At a height of 6ft, it was hard for me to notice - but for the movers who were carrying it and obviously banged that corner/top into something - they surely noticed it - but said NOTHING about it. I've called the company several times and got NO RESPONSE. If you read other reviews here - you'll see this appears to be a theme with these guys. I wish I would have before I used them.”

They showed up a little early which was great, they called ahead. They got everything from the house in less than two hours. We had to make a second trip, we were unable to fit the contents of the storage unit but we knew this ahead of time which was fine. I had them place everything from the unit in the garage because I was tired and they were tired. Everything is here and I'm done with the move. It was a great experience overall. Would use them again if I ever lose my mind and move again.”

Big Lots in Grandview used these people to deliver my mattress and box spring. Cost me $80. I was told they would be coming during a 3 hour time window 2-5pm. Waited that entire time to get a phone call at 4:57 from a guy “we’re picking up your stuff now and will be there in 15 minutes.” They show up AFTER the stated delivery window at ~5:10. I mention they’re late and he has an attitude with me about they got behind, but no apology from them. They bring my bed up and then get on their way. Unprofessional to not call ahead to tell me they would be late. Next time I’ll take it around the corner and up the steps myself; better than wasting $80 on these idiots. Seem to be sweet guys but horrible experience. One took a 15 bm break on my toilet, then the 3 took a 15 min smoke break. After packing my moms items and my things took a hour break. Delivered our items to the new spot. Cracked my mirror dresser broke my moms glass dishes. Then wanted us to pay for the breaks in between with the moving fee. Unexceptionable!!! Nice guys but idk if they were lazy that day or out of it. This happened dec 2018. Hopefully they’re doing way better.”

I was moving a one bedroom apartment into a different location closer to work. I was quoted for two guys and one truck for about 89 an hour. When the guys arrived, Donnie and Cody, they were 10 minutes early, and made sure they knew exactly what was going on and packed everything within 30 minutes. Sadly my new place is on the third floor but over all it took the two guys less than two hours to move. They made sure that anything they had to take apart, they put back together. Definitely the two nicest guys I have met when talking moving company’s. I will be calling these two again for my next move!”

These guys came deliver from Dayton discount furniture. They set up the couch n stuff just fine. I told the guys to leave the trash on my porch they left it on the grass by the street. Then it comes to setting up the bed. They told me I had a full size and set the mattress on that setting. I told them no it was a queen they didn't listen. They said they couldn't get the box springs up the stairs. I tried explaining how I think they could. They were in a hurry and just wanted to leave and for me to go buy a split box springs . I asked if I would be charged another 60 plus they said no. So I dealt with the furniture company. An had help but later got the same box springs up the steps that they refuse to try more then just trying one way. Also verify it was a queen I bought. The mover guys left the Mattress on the full size setting. And said I would be charged again when I called to cancel the delivery of the split box springs see if they could come back and fix their mistake and set up the bed when I had already paid for it anyway since I got it up the steps fine. These 2 that deliver my stuff didn't seem to know what they were doing and ended up ruined my mattress And waste my time. And wanting to change me 2x for the same thing. So be careful before you choose these guys. Not All their workers care they ruin your stuff and don't listen don't know what they are doing. very horrible experience . They were late but if u don't want your stuff ruined I would go somewhere else even if it costs more.”

I asked them to move a fully packed apartment into a storage facility. The movers were very nice, professional, and moved everything very quickly, without damaging anything. They were understanding when I meddled, and although the storage place's elevator did not work, they were very fast in hauling all my boxes of books (over 30 of them) up two flights. The only problem was that they had a little trouble finding my place (this happened to me with Uber too), and they did not charge me for the extra time it took them to find my location. Overall, I would totally recommend them, and they're the first people I'd call if I had to move.”
