Caveman moved us into storage on June 29 and then into our house on July 24th. They were wonderful! Friendly, hard workers, willing to help with anything I asked. There was a couple of round legs broken off a dresser but they took it to their shop with them and brought it back to me one week later. My husband and I were out of state with a family emergency on move out day, but I had called ahead to make arrangements and they took care of all of it. They were so kind and helpful. I hope to never move again but I would not hesitate to recommend Caveman Moving.”

The movers really did a great job with protecting out house to prevent damage, the guys were very personable and fun (we even had a moment of singing a CCR song together!). With how exhausting and stressful it is to get ready for a move, it was such a relief to have the actual move out and in go so smoothly. They were fast and efficient in everything they did. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat (and already have). Oh, and they even came in well under their estimate! I'm sure that is not going to happen all the time, but it was a very nice surprise.”

Originally found this company on Instagram - liked their sense of humor - and then watched their posts for weeks. Decided to give them a try for a local move from our apartment to a new townehome. Met with Ron for the estimate, scheduled the move (and then changed it), the team arrived on time and had the apartment packed up and ready to go before lunch time! We left for our townehome and the truck arrived soon after. All precautions were taken to protect the floor, stairway, walls and furniture during the process which included one flight of stairs. Everything was moved in safely and set-up in no time. We were extremely happy with this - our first - very smooth move. Not only was the price fair and affordable, but the service and the team of men (Mark, Carlos, and Nate) who moved us were amazing. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for a mover.”

Without me using language that would get me banned from the internet, I will do my best to write this review as professional & southern as I can to keep this a family friendly site. Actually this is the first review that I have ever left, because the experience my husband and I had a few months ago with Caveman Moving was so HORRIBLE that I would be doing the Raleigh/Durham area a disservice if I didn't warn them to steer clear at any cost. The only reason I even gave 1 Star was because I wasn't able to leave 0 Stars. I am not one that gets into taking the time to leave reviews when I have a not so positive experience when I go out to eat or shop somewhere, because I just chalk it up that everyone has a bad every now and than. My husband and I have moved 6 times around the country over the last 22 years with my husbands company and we have only had one move that we would rate as poor. But comparing that one poor across country move to our 20 mile move locally with Caveman Moving and Storage doesn't even compare, I would rate that move excellent against the move we got from Cavemen. We had never heard of Caveman Moving and Storage, but decided to hire them anyway to move us to our new home here in Raleigh since everything sounded good with there "so called years of experience". The list is so long with complaints I don't know where to start, what to write, and what to leave out of the review. We had furniture broke/damaged, boxes smashed in, and our walls and floors scratched and of course nothing that happened was the movers fault. I wouldn't recommend this company to move my worst neighbor if they offered to move them for free. I just wish we would have looked into other local moving companies before we hired them. I hope this is the last review I ever write in my lifetime, as it takes a lot to get me to sit down and waste my time doing so, but in this case if I can save one family of a huge headache it was all worth it.”

First, this is the second time we have used Caveman. The first time around things were great, which is why we called them when it was time to move again. We had brand new hardwood floors installed, Brazilian Teak, which is incredibly hard and not cheap. The movers were told to be sure and put down padding because the floors are brand new. We did the final walk through with the installer on Wed, they moved us on Fri. There is a chunk missing out of the boards in the hallway and the finish has been completely scraped off another beside it. When my fiance reached out, Jeff dismissed him saying that he was sure the floors were already scuffed and scratched before they got there. My fiance told him no, the are brand new. It took about 3 weeks to get him to actually come out and look at it. Then accused us of trying to take advantage of them and that the floors we had installed were crap. My fiance got our installer on the phone, who has more than 20 years of experience, who attempted to explain to Jeff that he was wrong. Jeff's response was he's been moving since he was 12, so he knows. Kept claiming the damaged spots were knots in the wood, also not true. I called after he kept giving my fiance the run around, and he never returned my call. Just know that if there is a problem, it will somehow be your fault & you are just trying to take advantage of a small business. He was very rude and hostile about the entire situation.”
