I was very happy with the movers who came right on time and used time very efficiently. I thank Pat Jami Reggi and Wayne for their nice work. I paid whatever they put down on the paperwork before they left my house. All was nice and good experience. Then a I got a call from their office and the lady says I did not pay the last 30min. I was busy with the house at that time so I told her that i will come by to talk about it. A day later a guy calls. Later I learned that he is the owner and manager there. With an incredibly demeaning tone he tells me that I should pay the last 30min. He is simply accusing me of running a scheme with his team to pay less! I can understand that there may have been error when his team added up the hours but they way he says it on the phone implies otherwise. I did not have any saying whatsoever when they handed me the last bill. I just paid it. Instead of apologizing for his team making a mistake he blames me! I was really sick when he called and he made me even sicker with his rude condescending tone. I went straight to his office to just yell at his face to calm down. That is how mad I was. He was not at the office unfortunately. I paid that remaining balance but I would never recommend them simply because of this idiot owner. Don’t ruin your day go somewhere else! He is irreversibly rude.”

The lady that answered the phone was either on meds or had some sort of speech problem where she could barely be understood due to slurring her words. She also made little sense as I was trying to set up an in home estimate as their website offers and she was going on about the cost of moving appliances and how we had to run a washer machine thru one cycle to make sure it worked after the move. Not sure how the actual service was but if I had to deal with her again it definitely wouldn't be worth it.”

Out rental truck had old food left in the front of the cab from the previous renter. The doors would not shut correctly, we moved 1.2 miles, in only 5 trips, and were charged for 50 miles. When I called to ask why, they told me to call corporate. The young lady with facial piercings that checked us in, wouldn't stay off her phone during the check in process..... and they have a sign that says if you are on your phone, they wont assist you....”

We are selling our house and because their truck was in the way people drove on my grass tearing it up. We just paid people tons of money to make our lawn look nice for buyers. They kept claiming there was enough room but only because people had to drive on my lawn. I do not care for the lack of care they had for my property.”

The movers showed up promptly at 9 AM. They hustled everything out in two hours. Three bedroom apartment two floors and they got everything out very efficiently. Jami was the driver (he has another guy with but I'm so sorry I forgot his name) and the guy that oversaw everything and did a wonderful job. He communicated everything that he was doing and everything that he was going to do. He made me feel very comfortable and did not make me feel like we were just another customer that he was moving. He made it like he was moving his family. He really cared about everything that was coming out and going into the new place. He Put everything in the right spot And was very careful about everything. Split. I've had the opportunity to use Cary Moving center on two occasions about a year apart. The positive experience I had the first time led me toward using them for a second time. Hence the split. For moving only, these guys were very good, very thorough, and not one thing was damaged. They showed up on time, worked hard with no long breaks, and finished early. Had I written a review at that time it would have been a high rating. For the second occasion, I used them strictly for packing. While I can't take anything away from the hard work done, the quality of packing of one of the two people was abysmal. The glassware was the one thing packed appropriately. Nearly everything else packed had to be repacked. And that's if it was packed it at all as opposed to sweeping things in a box -- like putting a box at the edge of your desk and brushing everything into it -- papers, jars, containers, etc. Despite having boxes of all sizes and strengths including many from previous professional moves and movers, one of the packers opted to put the contents of the kitchen into extra large boxes that are rated for bulky items. It's a hit-or-miss on whether those boxes will split at the first bit of stress. Oh, and using my towels and linens to pack glass lamps instead of packing paper? I guess that works, but it's not appropriate. Again, I can't take anything away from the hard work, but it's probably best to stick to moving and leave the packing to others. The other plus? The people in the office are great. Very helpful and customer-focused. Use this place for moves, but save your money, sanity, and belongings and look elsewhere for professional packing services. I enjoyed the staff at this location. I went in initially to buy moving supplies and they made a few recommendations of brown tape, which was amazing. OMG! I haven't been as in love with tape since my Army medic days. Any unused supplies are returnable for a full refund. The boxes are good quality and will uphold. They have a lot of trucks to choose from with various sizes. I've rented from them twice. The only real requirements they have is that you return the truck in good condition with equal gas and sweep it out. They'll give you a broom for the latter one. I highly recommend and I will use them again if needed.”
