Contacted the owner Korbin back on August 1st. Told him that I needed a crew of two or three guys. He provided me fair pricing for both. I elected for two men. The day before the move date August 5th, I texted and e-mailed Korbin. He replied "Good Morning, movers are set to arrive by 11am." I am military, and I’m always moving around. Usually the military move my stuff but this time I had to do it myself since I’m just going on deployment, so I hired them. This is by far the worst experience I have had dealing with a company. I’m a very nice person but don’t try to Just capitalize from me. Like all they are about is trying to maximize profit from you. Here’s how it all started: 1. I talked to a guy a week prior to schedule the moving. He said that he’s going to book me for 4 hrs with 3 guys and if they finish early, they’ll just reimburse me What’s left. I had a 8 Am appt, and they didn’t show up until 9 and I had to be at work around 1 so they were cutting close with my work schedule.. The movers were done in 2 hrs and 30 mins, so I asked the guy who do I need to talk for the reimbursement. He told me that once you booked for a time, you have to paid for all of it. Like dude, that is not what I was told on the phone. If the guy I talked to had told me that, I would have booked for 2 or 3 hrs. I even called the day prior to cancel since I had got a better deal, he reassured me that if it takes less time to do the moving, they will reimburse me. But the movers didn’t care, all they cared about was pocketing that 4 hrs money, and come to find out one of the movers that was there moving my stuff, that’s actually his own company. 2. They broke my TV stand. Like my tv is completely broken off from the stand, and I cannot use it since it won’t stand. So he saw that and said he don’t know how that happened (idk either cause it wasn’t like that before you moved it). He said he will send the pictures to the office so I can get a refund. Never got any refund. They just charged me $585+ For the move that was done in 2 hrs 30 mins (expensive right) yea they very expensive. But so I called them a week or two later, That’s when I found out the movers that was there is the boss so I asked about my refund, he told me to txt him my tv brand(“mind you he took picture of the tv to send it to the office”). So a week later I txt him the tv brand. A pic of my tv and the retail price for the tv (around $200), he said he’s gonna reimburse me $30. $30 man. I had plan to re hire them again to move my stuff back when I get back from deployment since yea it was expensive but they were 3 young men, so i thought you know, it nice to see young men about their business. But they’re just about their money. They don’t care about your stuff and the job they are delivering. They just trying to make as much money as they can from you. That’s just ugly! Update: today is 20 January 2020, I still haven’t received that $30 he said he’d reimburse me for the TV that’s $200. I wish I could Post the conversation we had on here smh”

They showed up promptly quickly moved my items (up three flights and literally the furthest apt possible from the parking lot) and even assembled and disassembled all my items. I hired these movers through a third party app. This was my second time trying to hire them. Their communication is horrible. They cancelled on me on a Friday evening an hour before moving. It seems that whatever activities they had planned for their Friday did not work with the commitment they had made to move us. So an hr before start time, I got a text to tell me that they would not be showing up. This happened as we were picking up the truck for our move. The U-Haul folks could not believe that we received a text canceling the move instead of a phone call. Too add insult to injury, I had just spoken to the mover, so the excuse they gave was completely fabricated. It was Friday & THEY DO NOT CARE...Never again. What a nightmare.”

Korbin confirmed my move via email 6 days before my moving day. Then on my moving day, nobody showed up, called or texted me. I emailed, called, texted and even contacted through Yelp multiple times. I still haven't heard back from them 2 days later. Maybe the company closed? Anyway, I would recommend avoiding using this company, unless you want to end up paying a lot extra for a last minute replacement mover like we did... Oh, they also changed the quoted priced between yelp and email, not that it mattered much in the end.”

I am someone who never writes reviews, but I really want to help anyone from avoiding working with this company. Long story short, they cancelled day of. If you scroll down on other reviews you will see this isn't the first time. They are trying to blame it on us that we never responded to our email survey, but we have the time-stamped email, we responded within 4 hours of the initial email. This was on Sunday for a Wednesday move, so if they "never received it" they did not reach out or try to clear this up. These guys are an unorganized scam and will try to blame you for their oversights and poor business practices. So when they never showed up, and we contacted them (no one contacted us), after they blamed us for not responding (which we did), we tried to work out having them just come pack and we would move the stuff ourselves. We were told they would "lose too much money" that way. They don't take any blame for screwing this all up and have refused to help us in any way. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Really, it's not worth your time.”

Let me start by saying that I have moved 10 times in 6 years as part of my job, so I like to think I know a thing or two about the moving process. I have seen good movers and bad movers, and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. And we never even made it to the actual moving process! I called to schedule a move, and spoke with the owner of the company, who seemed very accommodating to set up my time and date. I was given a quote and told him that I wanted to book it. I did not say that I wanted to shop around, that I wanted to move forward with booking it. He sent me a sheet that included my move address and my contact information, which I filled out and sent back within 4 hours. I then heard nothing back from them after that. Since I had explicitly said I wanted to book his company on the phone, and the sheet I was sent was more of a basic contact information page, and by no means an official contract, I thought I was good to go. Seems reasonable. I waited through my scheduled arrival time on the day I booked, and no one showed up. I called the company to confirm that the movers were still on the way, and I was told that the movers were not coming. I was given no explanation, and the only thing he said was that he never received the page back that he had sent me. I forwarded the email to him that I had sent, with the time stamp and attachment, and he told me there was nothing he could do for me. He told me that he could have movers there that afternoon but they could only work for the contractual 2 hours that I had requested. At NO time did I ever ask for two hours. The QUOTE is for two hours, and 75 dollars for each additional hour. Every other move I have ever done have the same system, a basic quote and then a hourly rate after that. They work until the work is done. Was this company planning on working for 2 hours and then just stopping midway through? A moving company is a service provided for people who are going through the stressful process of moving. They are supposed to alleviate that stress by having an open-communication, clear instructions, and professional format. This company was none of that. Do NOT waste your time with them. Find someone else, and I promise you won't regret it. I have attached the "contract" in the pictures that they had me fill out to for reference. Looks official, right?”

Excellent movers and great guys! They were on time and ready to work as soon as they got to my storage unit. I basically only had to show them the unit then they took it over. Letting me sit in my vehicle and get some other things I needed to get done that morning. These guys are fast and efficient. A job that took three men, almost four hours to do took these two guys less than three hours. I was blown away by how fast they were able to get the truck loaded. They carried heavy pieces and much more up three floors to my apartment without ruining any of my stuff or damaging the stairwell walls in any way. Korbin, the owner of the company, quoted me a price before the move and to my surprise, he honored that price after the move. Most companies will hold your stuff hostage and charge you double or charge you extra secret charges after the job is done. Not Care More Movers. What they quote you is what they charge you. And in my opinion, their price was beyond reasonable. Also, I expressed to Korbin days before the move how much I would appreciate it if they take extra care when it came to my television and I was not disappointed. He remembered my request and I felt like my television was in great hands. If Korbin and the guys at Care More keep up with this great service they are going to be an unstoppable force in this area for anyone looking for honest, reasonably priced, hard working movers. I will definitely use them again for any move I have! Thanks again guys. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** I used this company just last weekend for the second move in a row and I have not been disappointed once again by Care More. They were on time, took directions very well, and not only is the staff professional and extremely good at what they do but they are also personal and friendly. Korbin and his brother, who were a part of my original crew and were present for this move as well even remembered who I was and conversations we had over a year ago. Now THAT is customer service. After unpacking everything, I have nothing broken, lost or everything was in great condition. You can tell they really take the time to take care of your belongings. Also extra points since I had to ask them to move my stuff up a spiral staircase. Which they did without hesitation and did very proficiently. The agreement was for a 2 hour minimum @ $115 per hour for 3 workers. The job was to unload 2 PODS. 2 - 3 hours is more than enough for 3 movers. The events of the move are as follows. Arrival between 8:30 and 9:30AM. When no one showed up by 9:30 and no one would answer a call I started calling other moving companies to come. I finally did a call after 9:30 saying they would be late but would be here before 10:00. They did not arrive until after 10:00 and with 2 people. At that time they started to unload the PODS and some time latter the third person arrived. 2 1/2 house latter they were done. When it came time to settle up he told me it was $375 total. I thought that was high and could not understand how that amount was calculated, but figured $375 minus the $100 deposit was fair and would not argue about it. He did mention that they scheduled a 5 hour window, but that did not mean anything to me as a 5 hour window / minimum was NEVER part of any conservation or communications and figured it was a planning thing for them. I text them a few times prior to the move trying to determine about what the final amount would be and again a 5 hour minimum was mentioned in the reply. This is the text I received when I asked what the 2 hour fee is, you said "you have 3 movers at an hourly rate of $115". Again no mention of a 5 hour minimum. When I got the receipt in the mail and i reached out to determine why it was $575 their comment about being charged 2X the agreed to amount is "sorry for the inconvenience" What a dramatic understatement. I feel miss lead at a minimum and at worst cheated.”

Communication is not good... Reached out via Yelp on 8 Nov to get estimates to remove furniture from garage so pics could be taken for selling then place the furniture back into the garage...work to be done on 11 Nov. Care More Movers responded morning 9 Nov and I accepted their bid and selected the 12-2pm window. They said deposit email would be coming that night, it didn't arrive until the following day, 10 Nov, around 5:30pm. Reviewing the doc I noticed no time was listed. I contacted the company to confirm 12-2 as I have other activities planned for the day. Someone responded ARRIVAL between 12-1. I said wait, that wasn't in any of the docs sent. They asked what time, I said 12 with a 15 min window and if you can't, I'll look for another company. No response. At 9:40am on 11 Nov I get a text asking if we were still on for noon as they can have someone arrive by 12:15. I responded no cause when I didn't hear back I had to make other arrangements. Company needs to tighten up their customer service skills. Poor communication erodes confidence in the organization. UPDATE I've lowered the star to 1 because sadly the response from the Company is an out right lie. The one hour window is no where in the email or docs sent to me. On top of poor communication, they are disingenuous. Could have simply said my bad, we didn't tell you. We'll do better next time. To not take responsibility...sad.”
