Called on a Friday afternoon due to unforeseen emergency circumstances I couldn't plan ahead. Budget Movers located their team that could be in my area the same day. Jon and Joel were the Budget Mover employees that helped us. They arrived at the time they told me on the phone. In about 2.5 hours they loaded 5 rooms worth of furniture in half of a 26' U-haul truck and made it look easy. I was satisfied and impressed by their work. They had to move a lot of heavy stuff up 3 flights of open concrete stairs to get it up to my new apartment and they did it in record time! I can't say enough good things about Budget Movers (especially Carlos M. and Antonio R.!) I requested a quote through Yelp and had a response in under 10 minutes. Heather was super easy to coordinate and communicate with leading up to the move, allowing the entire pre-move to feel completely stress free. On the day of our move (scheduled to start at 10am) I got a call from Carlos at 9:45 that they were 15 minutes away (aka right on time!) so that we could meet the truck downstairs. After they quickly assessed the haul, they got to work and were quick, efficient, and thoughtful throughout - they wrapped all furniture meticulously to ensure nothing would be damaged. Loading our large 2 bedroom apartment (in an elevator building) took just under 2 hours, and Carlos and Antonio then quickly got the truck over to our new house, laid down mats to ensure the floors were kept clean, and ensured that every piece of furniture or box got precisely where we needed it throughout the house. In all, the move took just under 4.5 hours and my partner and I both said at the end of the day that it could not have gone any more smoothly. Thank you Antonio and Carlos, we will definitely use Budget Movers in any future moves and will recommend to anyone who is in need of services!”

Did not disclose $20 "covid fee". I hope this went to the workers and not the company as they were wearing their own handkerchiefs and using knockoff sanitizer. Very slow, which meant very expensive. Much slower than the packers/loaders on the move out side. One of their workers crapped all over the guest toilet. We're talking brown plaster all over the seat and front of the toilet. I know it was them as I had the place professionally cleaned the day before. The toilet paper still had a bow on it so he didn't even wipe. Nasty. Great memory for a new home.”
