Brothers EZ Moving Reviews

★★★★★
Brothers EZ Moving was the best company I ever dealt with after moving numerous times locally and long distance. From the beginning when Lynda came to my house and made a thorough estimate to the men loading the truck, they were all polite and professional. All the men knew how to wrap everything and treated my furniture like it was theirs. I was apprehensive at first because they weren't the most expensive. I would highly recommend this company. I am now using them for the second time on a long distance move.

Let's be honest. Moving isn't fun. Sure there's some excitement about the new destination, be it local or out of state, but the process is miserable! Moving for us was a last minute decision. It was only a two mile move from one house to another property we own but we knew we didn't want to try to do it ourselves. I got a few quotes (over the phone) before calling Brothers EZ Moving, a recommendation from a friend who had used them. The first difference was that they were the one company that sent someone out to look at what I was moving to get a realistic idea. The woman who came (wish I could remember her name) was friendly and professional. She walked me through the process, went over the company insurance and explained things clearly. Her quote was less than any other company I had talked to (both the per hour price and the time estimate) and once I read through a number of their great reviews the choice was easy. The morning of move day, Prince, Raymond and Bryant, my team of movers, called to let me know they were on their way and showed up right on time! There was a quick review of paperwork and a walk through to show them what was going and then they went right to work. There was no dilly daddling. Given we were opting to leave a number of items including certain pieces of furniture I was thoroughly impressed they didn't have to stop to ask me multiple times about things that were staying or going. They were careful to wrap pieces that needed it and put fragile boxes aside to pack last. The unload at the new house was just as perfect. They moved quickly and efficiently and got each box in the right room. The guys were fun, respectful, professional and fast! Start to finish this company made for a stress-free move! If it hadn't been for an issue moving our over-sized refrigerator (which we knew would be a struggle getting out the door), the estimated time would have been right on the mark! We're moving out of state in about a year and without a doubt we will be calling EZ Brothers for help!

Best moving company I have ever used and highly recommend!! Professional, efficient, courteous, timely, and affordable. The staff are incredible.

★★☆☆☆
I used this company for a move end of 2017. All employees but 1 were cordial and professional. We used them to both pack and move all of our items. The packing job was a 5 Of 10 as much was just "thrown" into boxes. I asked if items in dressers etc could remain inside and was told yes. The caviat that wasn't explained is that these items will be turned every direction and items inside can also break and be extremely disheveled. The patio table I own was broken as well. The solution for this was I was to estimate the weight and and they would pay .60c per pound? That was the scenario for all damage .60c Per Lb. Well that doesn't work out so well. I also paid a bit more than I expected due to the one mover who was lazy and the other three needing to over compensate for his laziness. So overall, Nice people, however solutions to problems which will no doubt arise are sub par at best.

Movers Tyler, Rashawn, Jimmy, and Marcellas were friendly and professional. Estimator Darryl kept great contact between phone and email. All of these guys worked really hard in a very timely manner. I had a lot of heavy stuff to be moved to a 2nd floor apartment on a very hot summer day (July 2017). I will definitely use this company again.

★★★★★
The young men that moved us were on time, had great communication, were in good shape and, moved us fairly quickly. The price was reasonable considering the amount of big items they had to move.

★★★★★
WONDERFUL COMPANY. HONEST, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL. Thanks very much specifically to Alex, Glen, Chris, G., and Robby! Our family has used Brothers EZ Moving twice, now. This review will be detailed because they deserve it, and in my mind as I write this, I am comparing our fantastic experience with Brothers EZ, to a horrendous experience we had with a different moving company. We have only ever been treated respectfully by every member of Brothers EZ Moving. I so appreciate their customer service - each of them is easy to talk to, while still professional, understanding, and helpful. Everyone operates with integrity - what they say they offer and do are exactly what you get. They do not cut corners, (they take apart bunk beds, regular beds, dining room tables - all the things - and thoroughly wrap every piece of furniture you have in moving blankets, tape, and shrink wrap), they do not take advantage of you (the movers do not abuse the time-estimate the scheduler/operations manager gives you at quoting), and they behave professionally. I scheduled through Alex after being quoted an incredibly reasonable price - we live 2 1/2 hours from their office, on the third floor, and our destination is another 2 hours away, into a two-story. Just to be safe, Alex quoted our move for a certain number of very-feasible hours, but Chris, G., and Robby beat that time, which meant WE PAID LESS MONEY than we were quoted (?!). After Alex took all my information and gave me the quote, he told me he would speak with their operations manager, Glen, who would call me soon after, to confirm everything. That's exactly what happened. Also, this is a tiny detail, but if you're a mom, you'll get it: both Alex and Glen kindly asked about my daughter they could hear her blabbering during our phone conversations; I got to gush about my baby, and hear about their families. That's simple, easy, plainGOODcustomerservicerightthere. My move was scheduled for the very next day (crisis, and Brothers EZ Moving was there,) and Glen said I could expect a call in the morning from the foreman handling my move, to let me know they were on their way. Guess what? That's exactly what happened. Chris called me before 7:30am to let me know they were on their way to me. He texted me when they were 40 minutes out. When I didn't respond (my phone was in another room and I didn't hear it ding - organizing boxes, keeping Baby happy, etc...) he called me, to make sure he actually spoke with me. Our things were handled with care and packed into the Brothers EZ truck pretty much as fast as humanly possible, and Chris, G., and Robby drove another 2 hours to our new home, and unpacked everything. I mention the times because they were so conscientious! They worked hard, did their jobs, and didn't mess around. When they were done, I got a text from Chris (my husband was on the receiving end of the move) and an emailed invoice immediately after. At the risk of sounding like a one-woman choir, singing the praises of Brothers EZ Moving, well...I don't really care. They made me feel that they were capable and that they cared about how well they accomplished their work. I truly appreciate every interaction I've had with Brothers EZ Moving and confidently say their business practices and the employees who enact them are worthy of respect. Thank you so much, guys - and sorry again about all the stairs.

I already love this company! There are indeed the Best Movers in Tampa!! They told me how to prepare to my move, sent a move reminder with some hints and I did my part, packing and labeling my boxes, gathering them in a centralized location. All my beds were previous disassembled and ready to go. As a result, at moving day Brothers were sooooo fast! They blanked all my furniture and finish earlier than estimated, which save me a lot of money. I will never move myself again and recommend Brothers to anyone. Thanks again guys!!

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE READ THIS! I want all to know about the experience with Brothers EZ Moving. I have had the unfortunate situation of needing to move numerous times in the last 6 years. So with that, I have dealt with different movers each time. I have become somewhat of an expert on movers. So when Brothers EZ Moving showed up, something wasn't as usual. They didn't seem to have a game plan and no leadership. Well after several hours of lack luster work, I said something about it. I then had to speak with the company. Turns out for most of them it was there first day. They had never been in the moving business. The team lead was so new he didn't even know how to fill out the paper work. Remember they are paid by the hour and they certainly got me on that one. I let that go and just keep quite. Now comes the kicker. As they were moving us in, one of them dropped 2 boxes that clearly mark fragile and we saw him do it. We reported it to the team lead and he gave me a card for claims. I proceeded to follow the claims requirements. They blew me off 3 different times and 3 months later they finally came back and said that because they didn't pack the box that they would need to decline the claim. They boxes had China and some Art pieces in them. Even if it was all totaled, It would have been no more that $500. Don't let me forget that at the end they tried to charge me more than was agreed when i decided to accept their bid. So ask yourself if it is really worth trusting a company that doesnt have qualified workers and team leads handling your valuables. I wouldn't!!!! You will pay more for their unorganized work and pay greater when your valuables are destroyed. I will be far more careful in the future.

Another fine job from Brothers EZ movers! It was so last minute. Darryl whom I spoke with on the phone was very helpful for setting up my appointment. Ferdinand and Zany was phenomenal!!!! Very professional and pleasant. Thank you for your service.

★☆☆☆☆
Very bad moving company. Not only did they damage the pickup address walls, they also did not put any bed back together correctly at the destination address. Recommend avoiding at all costs. I have never been so frustrated after moving for 30 years now.

Everything was great from my first quote to delivery of my furniture. Steven P. and Austin H. were very professional and considerate of my time. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to make a move.

I hired Brother's EZ Moving because I was told there was a week-day special for a 3 man crew. Upon arrival, there were only 2 movers and I was not given any discount or concession for this. I called and attempted to resolve the issues with the company; however, they never returned my call. I suspect it was because I paid with a check and they now have their money. This is an untrustworthy company and I would advise to search elsewhere before hiring them.

Worst experience ever. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Do not use this company! We were moving long distance and had a dedicated truck. I was told that if it fit it would ship and I was fine with that. I also purchase insurance for out belonging thru Baker International. They totally destroyed our furniture and appliances. Almost everything damaged was 3 yrs old or less. Our freezer (2 yrs old) was gouged and scratched, dining room set was scratched and gouged (2 yr old custom made furniture), kitchen table was scratched and gouged ( 2 yrs old) and dryer was scratched in multiple places as well as other pieces. It was obvious that items that should have been blanketed were not, nor were they plastic wrapped. Also nothing was inventoried. Upon delivery we saw that items were damaged and asked the driver to make note so we could claim on insurance. Driver only had a delivery order and items were noted on the back of delivery order. When I requested a copy of delivery order I was only provided the back page which had nothing to identify that it was from Brothers ez moving. I have tried 6 or 7 times to contact claims by phone and have left message for a return call, plus called sales to see if I could get claims to call back. You can not get claims to return your call. I also have emailed claims and still no response. Baker International requires documentation noting damage to process my claim. They have also attempted to have the claims department respond but to no avail. Because Brothers EZ Moving will not respond they will deny my claim. Again, do not use this company

★☆☆☆☆
Brothers EZ Moving is far from EZ, If I could give 0 stars I would. The price they quoted came out to almost double as the 3 men that came to move me were so slow. They hardly wrapped the furniture the way they said they would and by the time the furniture got to its destination it was broken, scratched, and scraped. They had absolutely no regard for my stuff. The boxes of fragile glass items that clearly were marked not to put anything on top of them were crushed with heavy items on top of them. They in no way had any respect for my stuff or my time. When speaking with the office about this move they deferred to claims and the claims department took months to give me a measly amount back that did not even buy a new TV that they destroyed, let alone all the other pieces of furniture and glassware that were broken. I would never recommend them.

★★★★★
They made my move so easy! There were 2 movers who made sure everything made it down the 3 flights of stairs safely. The customer service was fantastic they really go above and beyond here!

They damaged virtually everything I owned. They supposedly gave me their "best guy". When I told him that he damaged e veryrhing, he said "that's what insurance is for". Rude and idiotic. Two movers were decent and apologized for the damages. They offered me $72. 66 for damages and the woman I spoke with said "take it or leave it".

★★★★★
These guys were absolutely amazing. I called last minute when my husband got called to his mother's bedside at hospice and I was going to have to deal with the move alone and as fast as possible so I could go join him. They were at my place within 2 hours of me calling and could not have been more professional. As the day wore on I saw that I needed much more help than just 'the big stuff' and they pitched right in and took down custom closets & blinds, took my plants, and even continued to smile and laugh with me as i found even more things that I found for them to carry! Isaiah and Jackson(?) were funny and kind and I would have them right back tomorrow IF I considered moving...which I don't want to do for awhile...but when I do, they're my guys!
- Leslie V.

★☆☆☆☆
I would avoid them if you have anything of value. They did not come prepared with proper boxing for my tv which I informed them of beforehand and then damaged my tv during the move. I was assured by the workers it would be taken care. The TV is an LG E8 2018 that has a retail value over $3000. They said it was worth $39 and were being generous offering $100. They did not even offer repairs. Know who you are dealing with.

★★★★★
Overall this was a decent moving experience. Being prior military, I have moved more times than I can remember. On the plus side, the two guys who came to my house, Ferdinand and Green, hustled from start to finish and it was over 5 hours total for loading, transport and unloading. On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations.
- Michael Z.

★★★★★
Due to their client moving before me unfortunately having a much more challenging move than anticipated, my move started a bit late but with that they were completely apologetic and REALLY hustled - I would honestly say we still finished at the same time or quicker than originally anticipated (under an hour!). I had a very simple move (literally 4 - 5 items) so getting it done quickly and not breaking the bank was really important to me (especially because technically I could have called in a (huge) favor from friends). From the initial conversation with Crosby, to Shea helping me with updates and timing, and the team of three that did the physical move, I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone needing reliable movers. I called several places directly competing with them that were exponentially more expensive - unnecessarily so given my minimal stuff - it was almost insulting how expensive they were. I really appreciated Crsoby listening to how basic my needs were and working with me, understanding I wasn't wanting to waste their time either. Thanks for moving me into my first home purchase safely!

Using these people was the worst experience. They broke, crushed, dented so many pieces of furniture. They refuse to pay the claims and their customer service wont call back. I have sent emails, calls, To no avail.. Stay clear of these people.

I am not finished with this company. I have neglected to contact MacDill Air Force base to share my experience and forward all the photos of the damage caused to my art work. I will have my husband call as he is the retired military man--43 years of active duty in the USN. The damage was not done by the movers who brought our goods to Vermont, but by the way they were packed by Brothers EZ Moving. The boss man lied and lied to us and his final act when he came to repack was slamming two beautiful paintings and one antique etching into the last box. I have the photos. There was no paper in the carton. It was a hate act because we complained about him. Would like to see that they lose all their military moves. They are the WORST! It cost us $1,000.00 just to make up a new frame for the etching.

This company is the absolute worst!! I had to follow up on them multiple times to verify my move. The day of the move they never showed up during the window of time. I called again to check they had my information wrong which led to them not coming in time. They wanted to move me to the next day. Not able to do that they came the day I need but very late. The actual movers did a good job loading my truck. When it was time to pay I asked to speak to a manger to see if I could get some kind of break on the price due to the disaster that went through with them. The lady at the office refused to talk to me and yelled at the mover saying he should not be speaking to her in front of me. I then tried to call her directly to state my issue it conveniently went to voice mail. They are extremely expensive and very unprofessional!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!
- Viva T.

Jeffery and Watson were professional, courteous and very friendly. Did a great job moving my items! Gary called to follow up and to make sure everything went well from start to finish. It was a super hot "winter day" and they were pushing it full tilt. Thanks guys! I am a very happy customer!

I hired this company after reading the positive reviews, however, my experience with this company was far from great or even good. It took way more time than they expected and I was charged double than they thought. Their were 3 men and only 1 knew what he was doing. By the end of the move I still had furniture not able to fit into the truck and so they could not finish moving me for the day since they took so long! When I finally got to my destination I started looking over my furniture and so many pieces were scraped and broken. My antique side tables were not wrapped properly and completely destroyed, just as one example. They told me to fill out a claims form and after all they broke and destroyed I hardly got anything back from them. A complete joke!!! I would never hire this company. It was horribly stressful and a nightmare and now I have to buy new furniture. It cost a fortune.
- Leigh T.

★★★☆☆
The movers themselves were very good. The problem I had was that they came in over $400.00 higher than their estimate. I believe they purposely come in low on the estimate to get the job. They take their sweet time unloading to rack up the hourly charges. I would not use them again. All things considered there was less than $100.00 worth of damage that I am eating rather than go through the trouble of putting in a claim. They sure made me miss the movers we used when moving with the military.

★★★★★
I needed to move on very short notice. Mark in the office was incredibly easy to work with given the fact I had limited information on my new address and items that would require transport. They had us booked 48 hours prior to the move and our team "Ferdinand" and "Hawkins" were even more amazing. They took incredible care to package up our belongings. After having them make a second stop for items in a storage unit on the way to the new property, they really MacGyver'd everything to fit and we had absolutely zero breakage - which is impressive with how poorly I packed my boxes and the delicate nature of some of my items (including 4th generation crystal). We know our living situation is temporary at this point, but will ABSOLUTELY be calling them back to move us again into our forever home. Thanks guys!
- Jody P.

★★★★★
This is the second time that I have used this company...and I was as impressed as the first time. I had Gary and Joe..great guys, fast, efficient, professional...couldn' task for a better result
- Susan S.

★☆☆☆☆
This company sent movers who were too weak to move my belongings up to a second floor apt. and dented my new refrigerator. They also chipped some of my wooden furniture. The bill came to $400 over the estimate. They seem professional but the truth is they are amateurs They took two months to tell me (after dodging repeated phone calls and emails) tell me that they will do nothing to satisfy me. No partial refund ....NOTHING!! Do yourself a favor and hire professionals.
