I hired Bourne Solutions for a September 1, 2019 move from South Boston to Somerville, MA. 10 minutes before their promised 9am arrival, I received a call from the truck drivers saying that they were unable to get the truck down my street as it was too big and there were "no truck" signs everywhere (meanwhile, I was staring at 3 moving trucks in front of my apt the same size as the one coming from Bourne...). I received a text from the company manager that the driver had "refused to do the job, and there was nothing that could be done." I asked if they could at least help me on the Somerville end if I could figure out a way there. No response. I asked if I could talk to a manager. No response. In fact, I never heard from them again. Essentially, Bourne Solutions ghosted me on the busiest moving day of the year. As a company based near Boston, they should have known the moving truck situation before committing to my move and then canceling (leaving me stranded!!). The whole situation felt like the ultimate scam. I STRONGLY discourage anyone from hiring this unprofessional and unreliable moving service. Worst experience possible.”
