By far my worst moving experience. Last year we used a different moving Company to move us from a third floor walk-up to a fourth-floor walk up. They did the entire move in 4.5 hours (same size crew). This year, we were just moving the stuff from the 4th floor walk-up to a moving pod on the street below (so basically less than half the move and we have all the same stuff). After 4 hours we just told them to leave and we would finish the rest. I have never experienced such slow movers. My husband truly was working harder than they were and the two of us wrapped all the furniture in blankets/plastic wrap ourselves as they were so slow just to bring everything down. I have absolutely no confidence in the way the pod is packed and am just hoping that when we get it back things are still in one piece. Nightmare from start to finish.”

Selected this company for a NYC to Boston move based on all the glowing Yelp reviews. We scheduled this move weeks in advance as we were flying in from out of town and coordinating in a managed building. First warning sign was the company trying to charge us $100 for a COI (a common requirement in NYC which everyone does for free). Alex eventually waived this which was appreciated. On day of the move however as they were to arrive 11am-1pm... a mover texted us at noon saying sorry they'd be FIVE HOURS late! (at least 5pm) This blew our window to use the building elevator and our travel plans. The entire move was no longer possible. We left several messages with the dispatch line since it went straight to VM and were never called back, never apologized to, etc. The mover who originally texted us confirmed that they understood our forced cancellation with a "sorry" text. We will not be using them.”

They did a terrible job the on our NYC to Boston move on 7/1. They showed up about 3 hours later than anticipated (after already emailing me the week before and pushing it back 2 hours) and said it was because of the traffic in NYC. This was during a part of the pandemic where there was no traffic, which seemed suspicious. We had booked them to help us pack since my wife was extremely pregnant. They had brought very few boxes (which they charged us for btw) and didn't even bring a sharpie so nothing was labeled. At the end of the move my wife and I were helping them a ton and packed the remainder of our stuff in trash bags since they had run out of boxes! We ended up finally getting our Boston move complete around 1am exhausted. Very unprofessional and sloppy - would not recommend.”

They scheduled the pickup on short notice and were able to accommodate me. The only suggestion I would make to them is to tag each item when picked up and note it on a list; then provide that list to the customer so that items can be checked off the list when delivered. The paperwork was not well documented. However, nothing was damaged or missing when delivered.
